The Real Deal & Water ExpertS
TapWaterData is a phenomenal place to get real, authentic data from. Living here in Arizona and how hard the water is, among other issues, I’m big into water, climate, and environment research. I have gone on a lot of sites to research and TapWaterData is my go-to. Factual and data to support it. The maps and graphs make it a lot easier to analyze and compare and brings a lot into perspective.
I reached out to TapWaterData to ask a few questions about some places I was looking into moving to. A lot of what’s online is either too vague or written to scare you. I had the pleasure of emailing Andy a few times and he was outstanding. He was responsive and definitely knows his subject. He works from the utility’s own water reports and EPA records, and he was clear about the part people mix up: meeting the legal limit is not the same thing as meeting the health goal. He also didn’t treat a whole city like it has one water supply. If more than one utility serves an area, that changes the answer, and he walked me through it for the places I asked about.
I always look forward to their newsletters. So incredibly informative! One of the many that was an eye opener for me was the one called, “People Have Been Boiling Their Water Since 2010”. It stated, “In Grayling, Alaska, 207 people have been under a boil water advisory since December 2010” and also described the difference between a “boil water” advisory and a “do not drink” advisory. I learned so much from this newsletter that I had to reach out and personally thank them for the information.
Highly recommend TapWaterData! Top notch experts in the water field and customer service! I give this place 5-stars all the way! Appreciate the information and data. Keep it coming!
