Purchased a bonnet from this company on Ebay, they had my money, but then decided the item was damaged and unusable, but instead of issuing a refund, they marked it as dispached with no intentions of ever doing so, forcing me to wait 14 days before I can raise a claim to get my money back.
Shocking behaviour, steer clear of synetiq and save yourself the grief.
Still not got my money back....
True to form, the reply email address in their response is no good....

Faye Scott did a wonderful job in helping me out with an order that had gone to the wrong address. She spent at least 90 minutes with me trying to resolve the issue and this was done after closing time which she happened to pick up on at home.

I want to share my experience with them. After I filed a claim for damage to my car with the insurance company, SYNETIQ was sent to pick up the car and have it repaired. After a week of staying with them, they called me saying they wanted to scrap it because of a dented bumper and fender. After I refused and wanted the car returned to me, I had to wait almost 2 more weeks. But the biggest problem was when the car was returned to me. They returned it to me with a torn front bumper, scratches on the paint and inside the car it looked like they had stepped on the seats with shoes. After a conversation and providing photos of the new damage they caused, I had to wait another week for them to decide that they did not take responsibility for loading and unloading the car and that it was inevitable to avoid the damage. They refused to take any responsibility for what they did. Absolute amateurs.

Maybe you don't read or it's more convenient for you not to read what I wrote, but no one is saying that the car had no damage when it was taken from you. The damage was on the back of the bumper. I'm saying that when you returned it to me, the car had new damage on the front like a torn bumper, which turned out to be broken from below as well, and that next to the license plate on the left there was damage to the paint like deep scratches. If you look at the photos that I sent you before they took it and compare them with the ones you asked for after it was returned to me, you will see that there was damage during its stay with you. You can see it very well, but you are acting blind. I can send you before and after photos again to prove to you that you caused damage that was not there when the car was taken. It is also a fact that this is not the first time this has happened. I have read about several other cases of the same damage caused by you, which you also refused to take responsibility for. I personally will never have a car collected by you again. Unfortunately, you have incompetent employees who "earn" you such a negative reputation.

I sold my car to SYNETIQ in March and handed over the V5C as requested when dropping the vehicle off at their depot. This wasn’t an auction — it was a direct sale to them. Months later, I started receiving DVLA fines because the vehicle is still registered in my name.

When I contacted their team via fines email, I was told it was my problem and that I had to sort the ownership change myself — despite the fact that I no longer have the car or any information about who they sold it to, and they refused to provide any details.

More so at then depot they said they will take care of the change of ownership.

created an account, paid fee and submitted the desired documents but they suspended my account saying 1 customer is allowed on 1 address, I told them its company virtual address and over 6k companies are registered at the same address but they refused and, even the account was not approved they refused to refund the money, which is fraudulent and scam practice. Be careful when dealing with them, they might surprise you in the future when you send them money, and they refuse to provide you with the car and offer no refund. stay safe

No information that you cannot pay by credit card untill you receive the invoice. Then they charge a cancellation fee15% and late payment fees. Not on their tearms and conditions that they don't accept credit card. However they accepted the membership of £70 by credit card. How many people fall into this trap. Information on the fact that they don't accept credit card on winning bids needs to be given prior to the bidding, not after. So be careful they also charge vat even though it stated that this bid does not charge vat. Seems like some sort of scam.
