Only energy supplier in WA so we've decided to go off grid!
Synergy is an essential power supplier in Western Australia, but the online customer experience is very disappointing. After registering for online access, I am still unable to access my account, which defeats the purpose of setting up an online profile in the first place.
The website is not user-friendly and does not appear to meet the standard customers should expect from a major utility provider. Basic account access should be simple, efficient and reliable, yet I now have to contact the call centre again just to resolve an issue that should have been handled online.
The power supply itself is not the issue. The problem is the poor digital experience, the lack of effective online account access and the extra time customers are forced to spend following up through the call centre. Synergy needs to improve its website, registration process and online support so customers can manage their accounts without unnecessary frustration.
