They stated 1.3% fee on website. I have been using their service, but recently they raised my fees to a ridiculous 9.3% fee! I emailed to ask them to check my rate multiple times, no reply! Poor customer service! No phone number and never responded to email.

Way faster than I expected to receive money

I have used Swapsy numerous times without issues, but my latest swap has been nothing short of a nightmare. My US bank sent a Zelle transfer and I was told on 11/18 that it was in the receiving stage. After 18 days, I STILL have not received my funds. I have spent many hours trying to get this resolved. At this point, I consider them to be thieves because they have not resp;ved this and I have over $1,300 USD that is tied upin the nightmare. I no longer can recommend people to use this.

Swapsy is great for transferring money in and out of China. Low rates, quick turn-around. Has really saved my skin in more than a few tight situations.

Service does not work at all at changing CNY to USD. Constant errors when I attempt to send money and when I email support, I never received a response. I'm going to try and get a refund for the swapcredits I had to purchase with my own money that are useless since the service does not work. Do not let the other reviews fool you as they are probably fake. I have been trying to use their service for two weeks now and everytime I attempt, it always fails and gives me an error.

Swapsy came at a crucial point in my life where my work permit in China was revoked for renewal. I had to abruptly return to America but all my savings were still in a Chinese bank. Without Swapsy I very likely would have not been able to initially pay my bills. I am very thankful for Swapsy.

Sad to see how much the service has declined over the years. The new standard time is up to a week (3-7 days), with an emphasis on no guarantee that it'll be there after a week. That's all you need to know.

It's great being able to transfer money back to the US, however, the lack of a feature that allows users to add swap credits to their account from a Chinese service such as Alipay or WeChat is a major hindrance and has caused me to use other services such as Paypal at times. I don't understand how they excpect to have users who only have these Chinese services to send RMB to other users if they cannot use RMB to update their swap credits.

From setting up an account, to every swap, everything has been seamless. I trust this site, I use it often and I will continue to use it!
