Massively disappointed with the heat output
For such a large unit. Read the description and watched the videos, should have been more than sufficient for my needs (indoor fully enclosed 30sqm approx, garden bbq hut with insulated floor) I had the unit on for a couple of hours, calm night with decent temperatures outside but it failed to live up to the description and you need to be pretty close to it to feel any heat, no good when they suggest 2m distance.

Contacted customer service who were willing to
Refund or exchange but I pay £40-50 return post. I’ve decided it’s probably not worth the hassle for what I’ll get back for it.
I’d call it mis-selling.

Recently purchased two IR heaters. Customer service was fine.

From what I can tell, these heaters won't heat an area very well. But work great if you are sat statically infront of them. I have a 150w under my desk that warms my legs, and a 350w pointed at my body. Works fine whilst sat directly in front. But don't expect them to heat a room like a conventional heater/radiator would.

Very helpful staff who recommended the heater size to do the job . It was delivered in under 24 hours . Yet to install and use the heater but I am sure it will be fine, I have also extended the warranty to 5 years.

CONSIDERED AND CLEARLY EXPLAINED ADVICE AND A RECOMENDED ITEM THAT WAS BETTER SUITED TO MY NEED AND WAS LESS EXPENSIVE. EFFECIENT ADMIN AND THE ITEM ARRIVED NEXT DAY. WELL IMPRESSED - DEE ADOPTED MY CALL AND I THANK HIM.

The 2 panel heaters came the next day and work great.

Following on from my review of purchasing the heat bar it arrived the next day and my husband put it up on that weekend. Absolutely brilliant it heats extremely well quickly and most importantly in these times cheaply. You can set on a timer weekly when you want it to come on and go off, at what temperature. The only downside for us is the length of the lead to fit to the plug so we couldn’t put it exactly where we wanted as the lead is to short but having it where we have it heats the hallway aswell if we leave the door open so that’s a good compromise. These heat bars are great do a great job and very economically 5* Thankyou.

Really great support from Simon. He explained simply and clearly the attributes of each type of heater.

Initially I was looking at infrared panel heating options online and came across Surya Heating website. Their prices appeared relatively reasonable. I was not 100% sure on the type of infrared heater or size I would need for the area in question so contacted them via email. Simon promptly answered, after advising him of the room type and emailing him the measurements of the area, I received great advice on the type of heater I would need, the number required and the wattage. On Simons recommendation, I purchased 2 Zenos 1200w wifi enabled bar heaters. These were for a conservatory - quite restricted on wall height. The Zenos bars are perfect for the height of the wall, come with remote control and are wifi enabled. I downloaded the Smart Life app – this was straightforward, getting the heaters added, setting the temperature and timer up were all easy. The Zenos bars heated the room and got to temperature quickly, once the desired temp was reached the bars stopped using energy and would only come back on briefly if the temp dropped. I was keeping an eye on the smart meter during the process and couldn’t believe how effective and efficient they were. The smart meter indicated in the lower end of the green area once up to temp. The conservatory remained really toastie all evening! Overall, communication, knowledge, prompt delivery and answering a query once I had the heaters delivered were all spot on, cannot fault. Simon was prompt at answering emails and helpful. These are brand new, and I have had one evening so I would be interested to see how they perform consistently and if the need arises whether I had any aftersales/queries Surya will remain helpful. I am already thinking about more infrared heaters in another area of the house once renovated if all goes to plan I would recommend & use Surya again for any infrared heating products/requirements. Informative call handler. Helpful not pushy. . I bought the IR round mirror with WiFi for a bathroom with a cold flat roof. The WiFi was a little tricky to connect like most WiFi connected products. Remote thermostat is great as it can be put in another cooler place if the first location heats up too quickly and switches the heater off. The mirror heats quickly and once the room is heated the heat remains for a long time after the heater switches off. The edges of the mirror seem convex and slightly distorted which I presume helps with heat distribution. It isn't a negative. I like this product and would recommend it. I hope it lasts as it is expensive to buy but not to run. The wattage is quite low in comparison to other electric panel heaters.
