Ocean enjoyment without fear of damaging new in-ear hearing aids
I had just purchased a new type of in ear hearing aids that are inserted deep into the ear canal. They are Lyric hearing aids by Phonak. They are worn 24/7. While you can take s shower with Lyrics you cannot submerge your head. I went on a beach vacation and am an avid body boarder and needed some full protection to prevent damage to my hearing aids. I searched online and found Surfears. They worked like a charm. I got tumbled by the waves pretty good on several occasions and the Surfears kept the water out of my ears. I highly recommend Surfears for waterspouts athletes.

I’ve tried many ear plugs and SurfEars…
I’ve tried many ear plugs and SurfEars are by far the best in both allowing me to hear and have conversations while keeping water out of my ears. They also have the best hold and stay in during active surf sessions and occasional wipeouts. They are costly, so I was sad when one of the ear wings from my set was lost. I ordered a replacement ear wing, but there was an extended delay in shipping. Many thanks to Anna and the SurfEars team for the amazing Customer service and making it right by shipping me a replacement set. I’m a fan and will continue to be a customer.

NOT one-size-fits all
I have a small head and thus very small ear canals and while there are many sizes of rubber inserts, they all attached to a one-size-fits-all plastic piece that also goes into the ear. So if you have a narrow ear canal and are using the smallest insert most of the marerial is hard rubber / plastic (i.e. the soft flexy parts are nearly non-existent). So after surfing with them only about 3 times the intense pressure of having them in my outer ear canals caused such intense pain that i had to discontinue use and I gave them away to a friend. The entire apparatus needs to be smaller for smaller-eared / headed “freaks” like me, not just a smaller rubber insert.

I had a issue with my delivery as it hadn’t come and when i contacted surfears through their help email i was greeted with swift responses and even got my order upgraded which i was thankful for all together they communicated very well and helped me with my problem

I have swimmers ears and swim all year…
I have swimmers ears and swim all year in an ocean pool , these have been the best by far . Very comfortable in my ears and don’t need to keep adjusting.

Best customer service
I had some delay with the shipping but the customer service was very supportive and kind.
The earplugs work well, they don't come off while swimming.
However, I haven't found the right fit yet but I still have to do some tests with the other sizes.

Love these
Love these, so comfy, love the way you put them around your neck and can hear quite well with them. Highly recommend. I did a 6km seaswim with them and didn’t need to readjust or remove them at all really even during water breaks
