Great value and quality for the home gardener who wants to plant different varieties in a small plot.

Only once in the several years I've ordered from Pinetree Seeds, did I have a problem and it was quickly resolved. (item missing from my shipment) I particularly like the small quantity seed packets and the selection is varied enough that I don't have the same plants every year. I order both flower and veg seeds and start many indoors and the seeds germinate fast. The only recommendation I'd make is for more info on the seed packs re: hardiness, approx bloom time from germination, type of feeding recommended etc. (most packs do say to start indoors some no. of weeks ahead of last frost in northern zones) The soap making supplies are good and reasonably priced as well as essential oils. They have sales from time to time and the website is easy to navigate. Jef and Melissa are very personable and actually take the time to respond to questions or problems themselves - very rare quality these days!

Been ordering from Pinetree for as long as I remember. Never had any problems with them. I love being able to buy assortment packs of vegetable varieties. Not only do I enjoy eating varied types, but that they ripen across the season rather than all at once is handy for fresh eating.

This is my second year ordering from Pinetree and won't be my last...

Minor difficulty of one pack of spinach seeds having poor germination. Pinetree Garden Seeds offered to replace the packet, I declined -- not worth the effort. Over ten plus years, this is the only instance of a problem. I like their prices and selection of seeds.

I appreciate the great selection of seeds, the low cost, the efficient delivery and helpful staff. I did have some crop failures with several types of seed that normally germinates easily. If that had not happened, I would have given Pinetree Garden Seeds a five star rating. Thanks for asking and for caring.

Pinetree has always been very friendly and responsive when I've had a question. I like the fact that you can get packets with a smaller number of seeds than some other seed companies. This year and last year I've had problems with some seeds not coming up (particularly various greens). I'm not sure if it has something to do with my soil or the weather, so I'll try again next year. Except for this issue, I would have given 5 stars.

Pinetree has been my main source of seeds for many years. Great variety of seeds including many heirloom and organic. Very successful germination rate. Excellent value. Helpful descriptions and planting information. Nice selection of general gardening products. Great service. Only once had the wrong packet shipped and they immediately sent the correct one.
