I recently purchased from Supercheap…
I recently purchased from Supercheap Auto Blacktown online and in-store some items for my garage, including a workbench, tools and a tool cabinet, the delivery was prompt but the workbench looked like it had been previously opened and re-sealed, I was a little concerned as I had read some reviews about customers who had received a delivery that had been previously opened and some items missing from it.
I phoned the manager Rowe who was very understanding and friendly and she first checked that they had this item in stock and offered to swap it over if I returned it to the store, she also said that I could ring the online store to arrange for a replacement unit, which I did, the online store lady was also very friendly in assisting me, she arranged for a replacement to be shipped out saying that it might take a week or two to find a sealed unit from another store.
The replacement unit arrived very promptly actually just a few days, they also told me that there was no rush to return the original unit just to return it at my convenience to the Blacktown store, I appreciated the trust that they gave me as they did not charge me for the replacement unit, so I returned the original unit the following Saturday morning to Rowe the store manager and told her there was no refund involved, that it was just a return as I had received a replacement from the online section and she thanked me for my honesty.
Also, I checked both units very carefully as the replacement box was damaged and open on one side, my wife was home when it was delivered and she asked the driver why it was open on one side and parts were falling out onto my driveway and the driver responded that it was because of the rain, so I took photos of it when I arrived home from work, after careful inspection I observed that no parts were missing from either unit and I repacked the return unit into the least damaged box carefully and re-sealed it before returning it on the following Saturday morning.
Overall, I am happy with the service from Supercheap Auto Blacktown, as they suggested that I could organise a replacement unit from the online section and it was delivered promptly with no charge pending the return of the original unit to the Blacktown store.
Update, when I assembled the second item (Tool chest cabinet) that I ordered online, I realised that I couldn't open the locked drawers as no keys were supplied with this unit, so I had to contact the online section again, I explained the situation to the lady who was very friendly and understanding of the issue, she asked that I disassemble the cabinet and repack it back into the box again, which wasn't easy and in fact took three attempts to secure it properly and re-seal it, now awaiting pick up by the courier.
I mentioned that I was not happy wasting my time assembling and then disassembling the cabinet and then having to assemble the replacement again when I receive it, but in fairness, this was a quality control issue from the factory and it should never have been dispatched without the keys in the first place. To the credit of the online section, the lady kindly offered to refund my original shipping fee as a goodwill gesture, which under the circumstances I very much appreciated.

If I could leave 0 stars I would - We went to buy roof racks in store however when we got there they said to order it online and choose click and collect option (bcs lockdown) we did that spent over $300 - we then showed the staff member and then they told us they actually didnt have it in store and it would be coming from online and would be with us at home in a few days - its now been two weeks and still says "Awaiting collection" - I have called up asking for tracking information and they just hung up on me! Once I get through I will be getting a refund and taking my business elsewhere - disgusting service! especially because I am heavily pregnant, about to go into labour and need what we ordered
Useless!!
Tried to order click and collect but website said my store was closed for lockdown (which it wasn't). Rang the store and they told me to order online for delivery until IT sorted the issue out. 14 days and order still processing. Spent 40 minutes on phone and got nowhere. I find it (slightly) amusing how I had to sit on the phone listening to a robovoice telling me that abuse wont be tolerated, however it would seem they are inviting abuse by the terrible service, and the covid excuse just doesn't cut it anymore. In the end they told me that the supplier (CBC bearings) said that the part isn't available anymore, so I rang CBC, they said 5 days delivery. Thanks CBC!!

Hi this is for supercheap Lawnton Brisbane It’s the 5/8/21 at 2.58 pm Thursday Young girl at the counter it with black long hair asking me to check in which if you check the laws you don’t have to do that Queensland government law says if you feel uncomfortable with this app on your phone and you don’t want to share your contents with anybody if you do not have to do it but this young lady insists so I have got the laws printed out not very interested doesn’t care about what I say I don’t wanna be talked down like a child or an idiot this person needs to wake up I have the laws here I will send them to you Obviously I can’t taste anything in here but check the laws really have to think twice when you get dictated by shops if it’s open to the public they cannot refuse your entrance
Most pathetic online ordering
Most pathetic online ordering. I waited 4 days for my order only to call them and be told the brake pads wouldn't be available for 2 months but the discs where still available now so I cancel the brake pads. I wait a couple more days for the discs which was told would arrive in 2 days still nothing I call online orders to be told they would chase up call me back straight away. I am still waiting for the call. Honestly don't waste your time Repco or Autobarn much better service.

Friday call and get told next Wednesday
Well in two days it well be 2 weeks.
And if you cancel order you pay 20% restock fee.
So 20% of $160 = $32 not bad for doing nothing.
Autobahn say 3 days you get it in 3 days.
Our experience at super cheap auto was awful
Our experience at super cheap auto water gardens was the worst I’ve ever received.
We asked for customer service to unlock the lock on the lightbulb we wanted to purchase 3 times, 3 times he put other customers first and then continued to flabbergast with them for half an hour. So we went to the desk and said “we just need a lightbulb unlocked” and his response was “i don’t have the keys I’ll ask the people on the floor” which we then heard him make the call to ask someone to help us. We then gave them a timer of 10 minutes to help us before we left. Not one person came to help after 15. We dropped our stuff and left. Appalling.

Ive went to buy 2 Bosch's wipers at supercheap auto Gungahlin. Ive asked counter for a price match which is their policy. He then asked his supervisor?? Ben. Which was fine by me. He may needed to confirm. But supervisor Ben told me, the shipping from another place cost alot so he cant price match it and I've found out on the spot that even with shipping cost 9.90. It works out to be cheaper. I then asked them politely for a price match with adding 9.90 shipping fee. Then he told me, his exact word. "Why dont you get it from them". First i live 200m away from the shop. Preferred to just pick them up straight away. Second i had close to 40 dollars of credit from my last shopping at the shop so wanted use that credit i had. Not sure if he would of said this to the person with native English background. However couldnt believe someone can say that to acustomer as i work in hospitality service.
Made feel very uncomfortable front of other ppl. Just asked for something that they have advertised. Ive asked for a price match but ad doesnt say price match. It says price beat guaranteed. If not happy to do so, shouldnt advertise it.

Lacklustre Service.
I only visit the Supercheap Port Adelaide store as a last resort (if nearby Sprint or Repco don't have what I am looking for) as the service is pretty poor and the staff are generally abrupt. I have never once been asked if I need a hand finding something. Somehow I get the feeling Supercheap don't really care about customers or service.

Bad faulty car battery & customer service to match
Purchased a high capacity from the Whitfords store been having trouble starting the car in the mornings. Had the battery tested at the Whitfords store, and they said the capacity was faulty - should be 720 cca and the result was 555 cca - 165 cca down. They wouldn't swap it out under warranty as they said they wanted to charge it overnight and run more tests. As this was not good customer service and can't be without a car for a few days, I said as this was clearly a fault in the battery and you are inconveniencing me, I will take it further, they didn't care. Seriously not good service - don't reccomed anyone to go there!. -165 cca capacity, is not enough start the engine in the morning. Give me a refund or replacement and compensation for my time and this madness!

Don't do online shopping with doggy Supercheap auto!!! I recently shop online for click and collect when i went to selected store for pick up,,couple of items wasn't available at store which there website confirmed before payment those all items shown available..now it's been 15 days still waiting for refund also customer support line take ages to answer my call and person i spoken with is very rude...I'm totally disappointed...I'm not gonne shop at Supercheap any more for sure...
Poor customer service fro the Manager
I had visited the Midland store in search for a oil product that was advertised on a clearance sale.
this was about 1540 on the 5 Sep 2020. I had asked a staff about the product if he had it on board or not. The male staff was very helpful but could not find the product tag on the shelves. Then he asked his female manager who was talking to one of the customer when finished to come down to assist me. I waited near the oil section for 20 mins and there was no sign of the manager.
I decided to approach the front counter where I happened to see the manager talking and laughing with the staff behind the counter. I had asked the front staff a male member for assisting me about this oil inquire. He showed no eager and interest to assist me with the inquire. I got frustrated and walked out of the store. This has taught me to never go back to a store where staff are not at all Helpful to there customers. I will put a strong review on the Midland store.

Cessnock store unsafe
Went to Cessnock store.
Staff not wearing masks, not social distancing, and in fact crowding close to customers- ignoring social distancing requirements between staff and between staff and customers. Had to ask staff to move in order to safely exit aisle. No obvious hand sanitizer station, no encouragement to sanitize. Front door closed, requiring hand contact. Unsafe store in my opinion.
