We stayed in the Kalami Bay Apartments in June '25 and having paid over £1200 for the room only for just 7 days - our expectations were high. Whilst the Kalami Bay apartments are in a lovely location and the pool area is nice, the quality of the accomodation was poor - very basic and in serious need of attention. Worst of all was that for the first three and a half days of our stay we were without any hot water to shower. This was eventually fixed. For the last two days the pool was turning green and needed a chemical clean. The door to the toilet in the apartment would not close as the lock had been drilled out – you had to put your foot against it to keep it closed. There were also many other issues with the room.
I politely complained to Sunvil’s Managing Director back in June '25 and have contacted him several times since with no response - it is now the end of October '25. In his last three emails he assured me each time that he would get back to me the next day and never did. We received very poor service and value for money from Sunvil.

Last week we set off for a week on the Greek island of Sifnos. Due to an EasyJet fiasco at Gatwick - don’t get me started on them! - we took off over four hours late and certain to miss our ferry from Piraeus. Sunvil were amazing, phoning me several times as we sat for four and a half hours in the plane on the tarmac, quickly arranging overnight accommodation in Athens and rejigging our transfer details. They took the stress out of the situation in a calm and professional manner.

This company is highly recommended.

I booked a holiday with this company, due to corona virus they cancelled. I spoke to the director, a horrible little man, who told me he had my money but was refusing to refund me. He told me I had to go through my travel insurance, As I had not cancelled the holiday the law is very clear, they have to refund me. I have raised complaints with ATOL, my bank, my insurance company. what they are doing is illegal, but the director is only concerned with keeping my £3,400 5 day holiday. I would urge anyone thinking of booking with this company to think again. if something goes wrong which they are legally accountable for, they should refund. Do you really want to run the risk???? All they are interested in is rebooking, with fee's they even sent me, for my insurance company a bill for late cancellation!! Criminal, fraudulent and deeply concerning.
