Very disappointed customer
We have previously owned stressless furniture and loved it. This time around we had a completely different experience. The quality has changed, they’re not as comfortable, ( we’re having a back problem) material on our sofa is peeling ( witch is parentally normal and we were advised to use a razor to remove) We had a upholsterer in the family and I have seen lots of excellent materials from Warwick that didn’t need a razor to be used. We have recommended Stressless to couple of friends and family members but unfortunately there opinions are similar to ours. We regret that we didn’t spend the money on something else. I would never buy or recommend Stressless ever again.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your Stressless Fiona sofa.
You selected an 80% wool, 20% viscose fabric named Calido as your upholstery and we had a technician inspect it regarding reports of pilling.
The technician found that the fabric was not actually pilling but that there were additional fibres in the upholstery. We reached out to our production team in Norway who confirmed that this was normal for wool fabrics and that the additional fibres could be removed is with a lint/nubs remover or by very carefully running a razor blade along the fabric.
As a gesture of goodwill we are willing to provide you with a complimentary depilling machine, please email us at office.au@stressless.com if you would like to take us up on this offer.
Regarding the comfort of your Fiona sofa, this is a new model and is manufactured slightly differently than our usual Plus-System recliners and sofas.
As such, the feel of the Fiona sofa will vary from that of your existing Stressless models.

Poor quality lounges
We purchased a Stressless Mary Wood lounge back in 2020 and received it in Jan 2021. Last year the controls on the recliner stopped working. Fortunately this was repaired under warranty. We now noticed that the leather on one of the recliners is fading/wearing ie. 13cm x 7cm patch. This is unacceptable for an AUS$11,000 lounge. It's only my wife and I living in the house so its not as if the lounge has witnessed any heavy duty use. In the past we have purchased far cheaper leather lounges that have lasted over a decade. For our retirement we thought we would treat ourselves to something special. In hindsight this was a very bad idea/purchase. We will certainly stay clear of any Stressless furniture in future. Further to Stressless reply below. Yes we are aware the warranty has expired. The point I am making is that the leather, for the price and with minimal wear and tear, has deteriorated. Not really a quality product for the price. As I have pointed out we have purchased far less expensive leather lounges where the leather has outlasted the grandchildren growing up.

Thank you for your feedback on your Stressless sofa.
As a reminder, Stressless provides a 2-year warranty on upholstery against manufacturing defects.
This is a normal warranty for quality leather, many manufacturers offer only one year.
Given that your sofa is now 4 years old, it is unfortunately outside the warranty period.
When you reached out regarding the leather issue, we informed you that the leather warranty had expired. We also recommended a qualified leather technician who may be able to assist with the matter.

Quality
Quality, quality, quality. It doesn't get any better than Stressless. Our new Sofas were purchased to replace a couple of old Natuzzi sofas. The quality of the product is AAA+, comfort, posture control, and the beautiful soft paloma leather upholstering. The help and professional service provided by Frank at Berkowitz Essendon was much appreciated. We are extremely happy with our 2 and 2.5 seat Fiona Sofas, they tick all the boxes. Thanks Frank and thanks Stressless.

The staff at Euphoria Hobart were…
The staff at Euphoria Hobart were wonderful, answered questions that we asked, they were warm and friendly, we did have to wait months for our Recliner, but we were told the time it will take and we accepted the long wait.
It was delivered on the time they said, Christian unpacked it and checked that all electrical were working.
Thank you to Christian and I don't remember the lady's name at Euphoria but she was delightful and very helpful and kind, thank you so much.

Purchasing Stressless at Berkowitz Moorabbin
The staff at Berkowitz Moorabbin were very helpful throughout our buying experience. They were not pushy in anyway and let us come our own decision in the furniture that would suit us. Comfort and warranty
Showroom people were helpful but not pushy. We were able to bring samples of the covers home which was very useful.
Delivery people very polite and efficient.
The chairs are extremely comfortable and we’d recommend them to anyone looking for a modern non bulky recliner.

My stressless sunrise recliner arrived today, it is everything I hoped it to be.
Find the chair most comfortable

A Plus for Stressless
The product appears to be of good quality, both in the construction and the furnishings. Both chairs and lounge comfortable. The wait time was explained at the time of purchase and arrived on time. Navigating to warranty was not clear and the time out was a little short when completing.
