I did a lot of research before choosing Straight Teeth Direct and I haven't been disappointed! The whole process has been smooth and I've felt informed at every stage. I'm really happy with the results, and it's been great that I haven't had to adjust what I eat, and I can still continue to play sports etc as well. I've been excellent value for money and I'd definitely recommend 🙂

Great company! Easy to do and definitely worth the money

Kept in touch every step of the way, instructions clear and lots of helpful resources to guide you. The app is fantastic for tracking progress, and the team are quick to get back in touch following any queries. I have seen great improvement in my teeth, and have even recommended to friends who are seeing fantastic results of their own. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the “cheaper option”, but I am so pleased that I went for it.

I started treatment in 2021 with them and it took over 2 years to finish the treatment. I paid £2500 and my teeth are not straight as per the 3d simulation I was sold prior to starting. I have threatened them with legal action for misrepresentation because that’s what this is and they have deleted my account. I’ve actually recently lost my retainer and now without an account cannot order retainers! Terrible experience I initially paid £1600 and then was charged more money due to my teeth having what they said was a slow biological response. I am a solicitor so I am considering taking action against them. I asked for a refund at the end when the result was not delivered and they said no, I asked for this because my teeth were supposed to be guaranteed straight and they are not. I asked for the money back so that I could go elsewhere but instead my account has been blocked!!!!

@straightteethdirect that’s a load of crap I paid £2500 for teeth that do not look like the guarantee you sent me at the start before you took my money. I’ll be taking this all the way! See you at the small claims court. I now have to pay to have teeth corrected.

You’ve forgotten to mention the several refinements I had to have because my teeth didn’t move the way you predicted I have numerous impressions and refinements done about 5. You are supposed to be dental professionals but you have deleted my account and blocked all my access to my treatment records how guilty do you look? I can see you’ve done that same to others on here …. Absolutely appalling!

A more convenient, modern and affordable alternative to straightening teeth. It requires continuous effort but the app and staff facilitate the process. I would appreciate more offers and discounts for members as well as plastic-free retainers, otherwise I’ve been really pleased with the results obtained after a year. Thank you

Awful. Initial assessment I went for to get my scans I left the place beeping because the guy was rough and using a hard metal like piece of equipment. Was wincing and stating it hurts throughout to which I was left with blank expressions and he carried on. After having my treatment I initially only wanted one tooth moved and everything else moved except that one visually. There was movement but I came for the result of that prominent tooth not prominent. I am left with the same prominent tooth in which they tell me it’s deemed as a successful procedure. I stated I am the one who decides if it’s successful and I expressed o wanted to make a complaint, I was then followed up with apologies but then steered towards simply paying more… I refused stated it isn’t good enough and I have now been blocked with my account disabled which has all my aftercare on in which I cannot access. Currently utilising an external company to take the complaints higher. Truly awful bunch of people.

I have now finished my treatment, and I am wearing retainers. My teeth were terrible. Gaps I could fit pound coins in. I never smiled and had no confidence to talk to strangers. I honestly didn't think clear aligners would be suitable because my teeth were really bad - far worse than the examples used in the marketing.

Straight Teeth Direct accepted me, and I was a bit cautious about the claims, but I had no need to be. It's hard to comprehend these are the same teeth that were in my mouth 18 months back.

With my teeth being as bad as they were, I wasn't surprised that I needed some additional aligners to complete treatment. STD provided these at no extra cost until full movement had been achieved.

There was an issue with the top retainer not fitting (things happen, and it's how problems are managed that matters) and this problem was resolved swiftly, professionally, and communication has been great all the way through.

My only negative (because I want to write a balanced review) would be that sometimes it would have been easier to call by phone, however, don't let this detract from an otherwise fantastic service and product. Messages via the app were always answered swiftly. I can't recommend STD enough.

You hear horror stories about digital dentistry, but I have nothing but praise for the treatment, service, and outcome I have received. My family and friends are surprised by just how good the results have been. I don't think any of us thought the result would have been as good as it has.

I had used them for a year and my teeth were still not correct and then they sent me another 6 months worth. Halfway through the first year the retainers were not fitting correctly and started breaking. When I told them it wasn’t fitting correctly they told me to move onto the next set, which caused alot of pain and the same problem to reoccur. I have since seen the dentist and advised me of damage to my tooth as the pressure started causing a catch in on tooth that I will have to pay to get fixed.

It is so easy to do and fits in easily around your busy lifestyle.

Paid £1500 and a year later my top teeth are not straight, and they’ve ignored my complaint and blocked my access to my own online account. Thankfully I’ve got screenshots proving my teeth look nothing like the 3d images they sent at the start. Now reporting them to the GDC and I WILL get my money back one way or another.

Straight teeth direct is amazing. Constant good service. They always keep up with you asking you to take photos of your teeth, which they monitor and make adjustments for you. Amazing.

I’ve had treatment with Straight Teeth and whitening and always get compliments on my teeth. I recwently contacted them because I stopped wearing my night retainers and my teeth started moving a bit so wanted to fix that but not buy an entire plan again; they were very friendly and understanding as always and proposed a reasonable solution. This time I will definitely join their aftercare plan! Highlight recommend!

This has been such an easy way to straighten my teeth. Am thrilled with the results. Communication is excellent, which as an entirely online proposition, is vital. Sensibly priced with different payment options. I was recommended Straight Teeth Direct by a friend and I have since recommended themselves.

Echoing the many bad reviews here… STD ruined my bite and claim it’s nothing to do with them, as per the signed consent form. They lure you in with the nice website and promises of ‘guarantees’ and ‘risk free treatment’ when the small print states the complete opposite.

They actually told me multiple times the aligners are designed to straighten teeth only and do not change your bite, but when I raised concern of this 1 month in to my treatment they stated it was normal as the teeth needed room to move. They fobbed me off again when my treatment finished, saying it would fix itself within a year which is complete rubbish as I was told by an actual professional orthodontist and 10 months later there’s been zero improvement. So I’ve been suffering with a messed up bite, unable to chew food properly for almost 2 and a half years, leading to jaw aches and headaches! What respectable dentist would leave their patient like that?

I now need fixed braces to correct what they did, costing me £4500 so I will be taking this further.

Terrible when things go wrong and stop replying to messages on my account. Clearly focused on selling to new people more than making existing clients smile. This guarantee on the website is meaningless (just read the small print). But more worrying is the attitude and lack of delivering on the values they claim to have.
Left with straighter teeth. But without comfort that the issues my dentist says could cause cracking of teeth.

They do not have official official complaints process. Will not reply to requests for the medical professionals details responsible for the diagnosis that conveniently claims they are not responsible for my issues. (something 2 dentists that have seen me in person refute)
Will not provide any details of independent body or ombudsman.
Without a reply to this I will have to escalate to general dental council.
I have no choice as could end up with cracked teeth or a big correction bill

I was very insecure with my teeth which made me insecure about my face . Straight teeth direct was something that my sister used for her smile and recommended . I can not describe how happy I am with them . They was so easy and straightforward with their process . The staff are so helpful and mesage you back if you are struggling . My process was for a year and my teeth are so nicely aligned . I would recommend them 100% to anyone who is insecure with their smile. This is a great team of professionals who know their job , don’t waste people’s times and create a perfect smile . I am also still In contact as I have stayed on maintainer plan with the retainers . Again very good company so please guys this is a honest review from someone who had very bad aligned teeth .

I started my alignment process and given a year until i get my perfect straight smile.
From day one i would say my guildance and customer care was great until my year was up

Once i had my aligners for the year i was then contacted to say if i wish for more movement i would need to pay extra for more impressions and then quoted for more aligments to get my straight smile
