Stormguard Floodplan Omdömen

We are very pleased with the flood barrier installation and sealing the front wall. The survey team were professional and offered different options. The installation team were highly professional and worked really hard over the week to complete the installation and kept us informed about what they were doing. We have been very impressed. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Stormguard Floodplan were very helpful and easy to deal with. Olivia processed my enquiry quickly and efficiently and arranged the installation promptly.

The fitter was very professional and helpful. He explained everything clearly and offered plenty of useful advice.

Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would happily recommend Stormguard Floodplan.

We’ve had such a positive experience from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional throughout. Olivia was fantastic and kept us well informed, while the installation team were brilliant and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. We’re really happy with the finished result and would definitely recommend the company. Thank you so much!

Installed before any rain. Unable to test with a hose. The website said 100% watertight. When the rain came in and flooded both rooms, one with carpet the company sent someone to re make the gates. We took photographs as requested to show that we had used them correctly. When we queried the 100% claim they quickly took it down ... We kept a copy. They refused to accept any responsibility. We have now reenforced the gates at both doors ourselves and so far we have had only a small ingress. This has cost us money to replace carpets and to add to the defences. Make sure your circumstances are able to use these gates in extreme weather.

The installer arrived on time and travelled a long distance he was helpful polite and knowledgeable. A positive experience I would recommend Stormguard.

Mr & Mrs Atkinson.

Very prompt discussion of needs. Then we measured the relevant doors. They returned with a description of the barriers needed and the cost therein. Once agreed, the flood defences were fitted within a month, with little disruption, and as well as explaining to us how they worked, they sent us excellent leaflets as well. Definitely recommend

We had the flood barriers and fencing installed recently and it’s already given me real peace of mind. It’s reassuring to know I’m properly protected now. Ben, our installer, was friendly and expertly fit everything, giving us a good demonstration about how to use everything. We highly recommend Flood plan, very impressed by their work!

They were very quick in responding to my initial email, answered my questions promptly and provided an estimate by return. Once I accepted the estimate an appointment to fix the flood gate was scheduled promptly.
The fitter arrived on time and completed the work before lunch
I would recommend them

Had a slight problem with an installation carried out 12 years ago by Stormguard. A phone call to them and within a few days they had attended and repaired the problem. Free of Charge.
Thats what I call After Sales Service.
Thank You.

great communication, competitive price, superb install

The floodgates look really neat - the fitter was a nice guy and clearly skilled at what he does and left everything really clean and tidy. The communication from the office team was excellent.

Bought 2 flood door barriers after a flood but didn’t get around to fitting them. Opened the boxes & main sliders were missing in one box. I appreciate it was a while ago but now wants to charge me £53.85 & vat for something that I never received & paid for already. Buyers beware open & open & check boxes on receipt. Making more profits iut of their failing to provide what is advertised.

Too expensive and doesn't seem to make any difference!

After my house flooded in 2021, I invested in flood barriers for the doors on the lower floor of my house. I am absolutely delighted with the result. They fit perfectly and have prevented my house flooding on at least 2 further occasions. It's peace of mind I would no longer be without

My God L can talk. I nearly got flooded again by the time he finished talking. A very egotistical man who does not take anyone else’s viewpoint onboard and will bombard you with having “50 years of experience”; and if your suggestion is any different to what his company provides, it simply isn’t good enough. He quoted me for anti-flood air-bricks which cost around £25 online but quoted each one for £75. He charged me nearly £400 for his survey, for simply counting how many air-bricks I’ve already got (15), which I later found out the existing air-bricks are in fact anti-flood air-bricks - he made sure to keep that to himself. He knows the amount of grant councils are giving to flood victims for flood prevention work and he simply is taking advantage of that by making sure the quote he gives for any amount of work, no matter how small, is close to the maximum amount. I wish councils could make it easier by getting rid of the bureaucracy so that genuine companies can offer honest flood prevention services.

Stormguard have been excellent to deal with from start to finish. Alastair was extremely helpful on the telephone when initially contacted and sent the quote for fitting of the sump pump promptly by email and was able to book a definite date for fitting. The gentlemen arrived to fit the pump punctually and were extremely professional in all respects and made a beautiful job of fitting the pump and explained and demonstrated how the pump worked really clearly. They cleared up thoroughly and left everything shipshape. I could not have been more pleased with the service provided.

The whole process was superb from the initial contact to the final installation of the flood barriers in our house. Alastair, John and co were helpful, efficient, tidy and highly knowledgeable and we are delighted with the end result. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Spoke to Lawrence over the phone and sent him over pictures of our issue with the garage.
He was really knowledgable and were able to provide me with an effective treatment of the issue!
