Habe mir eine kleine Dampfmaschine gekauft. Zusammenbau war einfach, wenn man die Anleitung auch ganz genau befolgt. Sonst baut man dann zurück und neu, was gut funktioniert hat. Keine abgebrochenen Schrauben oder ausgeleierte Gewinde.
Der erste Probelauf war enttäuschend, weil der Brenner einfach nicht genug Wärme liefert. Beim zweiten Mal ist der Brenner heisser, kann aber nicht genug heizen, um einen ununterbrochenen Betrieb der Dampfmaschine zu ermöglichen. Ist eben ein Modell und kein Motor.

I bought the RETROL HM-01 7cc Model Hit and Miss 4-stroke Horizontal Internal Combustion Engine. Assembly went smooth. Engine fired up and ran like a top. Have an issue with the CDI Ignition that came with the kit.
It just quit! So now I am using one of the CDI's that I have for other engines.
Stirlingkit is aware of the CDI issue, and I hope to get a replacement for it soon.
All said and done, this is a 'sweet' little hit and miss engine.

Purchased one of the hit & miss engines and it’s very nice, I had a issue with a part not fitting properly and after a couple emails to customer service I was sent a replacement, surprised how quickly it arrived! Happy customer, thank you Mona and the rest of the crew at Sterling kits!

Customer service is atrocious. They seldome answer emails, I also have been told an item will be shipped and that was not so. On my original order I did not receive everything I needed and did not realize it, and I even offered to order and pay for what I still needed and that went nowhereI finally had to track down hardware I needed and buy it myself as the lady I was trying to work with was LESS than helpful. I am still trying to find an answer to my original question as it was not covered in the ...instructions, so Buyer Beware!

Items always shipped on time. Customer service staff were quick to respond to emails and assist with your questons.

Unit a total loss and parts missing ,
Sent photos to Mona at Stirling kit,
A replacement Z01 unit has been sent.

Those models that work, work very well. Some have serious problems. Working with Sterling Kit customer service is a nightmare. I bought a Hit & Miss that will not run. two years later I'm still trying. I bought a horizontal mill engine, it runs but can't run it because the water pump doesn't work. It does not seem to develop enough pressure. I try working on these engines when I find time.
Shouldn't have to waste my time on their problems. I would like these items replaced with working models.

Order#51085  The order shows as paid over $2,600 and unfulfilled on my account with you. Ordered and paid on 01/09/2026. This seems like an unreasonable amount of time for the order to be unfulfilled. I will cancel the order and require a refund if something doesn’t happen very soon.
I am quickly losing confidence that this is not a very expensive scam.

Building of this 3D printed metal jet engine was challenging but I enjoyed it once I understood the instructions which were very helpful. I would love to see an upgrade kit with some lights and sounds. Also I think it would be nice to add full 360 degree stators to the HPC and HPT sections of the turbine.

Initial sales are generally fine but after spending out on a nearly two grand cison v8 pro and various other related parts I have found the aftersals experience absolutly dismal. I have been trying for months now to get spares for this engine. I have got close a few times to getting the parts I need only to find that communication from stirling kit stops and i'm back to the start again. So much for life time warrentee and comints like we do care and we will sort you parblems out.... Its all lies and im not even sure if im talking to a real human or an Ai bot, it terrible. technical support is almost non existent at best, and some answers are technically not even correct. If only I could actually communicate with someone with true product experience and technical knowledge. so now I have an engine that needs parts to run again and stirling kits customer service doesn't seem to care about you after you have made a substantial purchase. After months of trying im not sure if i will ever get the pars i need to get this engine running again.

I purchased order #52299 on Feb. 22, 2026 with tracking number YT2605400701858679. Here's in lies my issue. This was my second Yu Xiang purchased after a nightmarish purchase of the F11S. I felt maybe I did something wrong with the 1st one and thought... "I really like the style and technology so I'll give it one more shot". Not to my surprise same issues (Radio & RX communication issues, out of control yawing) with the second one and I vowed NEVER to purchase another Yu Xiang product. It's sad because I truly became connected to the brand and had high expectations after seeing all of the paid representatives boast about how awesome it is. Just was't my experience. Never an issue with my Flywings, RCA ERAs, only Yu Xiang. Sad.

Fast shipment as promised, easy assembly thanks to perfect instructions. Very nice end result.

I received a Z01 from Stirling kit which has been very badly damaged,sent photos to Mona,1 week has passed and now the info passed to another Department,No more communication received, I had in mind and budgeted for 4 more units,I will review that depending on current situation

What fun it is to discover these great kits. They are well made and beautiful. Ordering goes without a hitch and the one question I had was answered right away. I will buy more and I highly recomend SterlingKit!

Engine seems to be great .some of the issues I have come across are design issues and some lack of information. I wish getting replacement parts were easier to get .also upgradeable parts would be great.
So far my experience has been great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love this RC car! After downloading the app, the car paired easily to my iPhone, shipping was fast, and it arrived securely packaged in a nice pouch. Overall, a great experience.
