Unreliable and Poorly Maintained
Stessa should be a decent product. It has one of the more intuitive UIs and offers great features, most of which are free.
But it doesn't work. Stessa has opted to use Yodlee, instead of Plaid, to sync expenses from bank accounts to their app. It doesn't work. In my case, after many back and forth emails, syncing has been broken for well over 6 months in 2024 alone.
I wasted a significant amount of time migrating to Stessa and will now have to waste a significant amount of time migrating back to Landlord Studio.
Do not waste your time and opt for something else.

So far so good! I've had the pro membership since March and it's such a great tool to stay on top of my books and be organized. The customer support team is great! They are very prompt in responding and making sure all my questions are answered and resolved in a timely manner.

Horrible experience and no customer service (except Courtney- who is great)
UPDATE: Courtney from Stessa has SAVED their image and is actually very helpful. I'm upgrading my 1-star review to a 3-star for now based SOLELY on her calling me to help work through some back-end issues. If she's able to work them out, I'll upgrade it to 4 stars. I hope they give her a raise.
I paid nearly $200 for a pro account that has NOT delivered even ONE of the things it promised. I cannot get support at all. The live chat is non-existent. Every attempt to reach a team member has been ghosted for weeks. The software promises a lot of features, but does not deliver, and conveniently does not offer any refunds or pro-rated refunds. Please don't waste your time or money on this software- use a real company with actual customer support.

I can't believe how much you get for free
I have been using Stessa for almost a year. It is so easy to keep track of expenses for multiple properties. I kinda wish there were more categories of expenses (or maybe a customizable option for categories). It is meant for long term rentals, but I use it for short term rentals too. Overall, for a free program it is top notch!
