Sterling Review

I consulted with Sterling and they kept in constant contact with me to save me impeccable amounts of money. I highly recommend Sterling for money saving services.

I deeply regret paying Sterling upfront

Much is promised. Nothing happens. After a year of chasing they say they believe there are no grounds for a challenge. That’s after a year of being told everything is on track.

I was told by another surveyor you should never pay upfront for this service. They were right. Other surveyors only get paid on results. Now i see why. Too late for me unfortunately.

Unprofessional

I decided not to go with Sterling after quite a few communications with them. Paul asked me for feedback, I declined the phone call but did give my honest feedback over email - in an attempt to help them to be better. A few hours later Carly called me, I said that the phone call was not appropriate at this time - she proceeded to be vile and unprofessional. I'm so glad that I chose not to sign that paperwork!

Carly’s call was simply a follow-up to your feedback, intended to ensure clarity and closure, not to cause any upset.

Our team has been working diligently on your behalf, and we are contracted to represent and monitor your business rates valuations through to the end of the 2029 rating list.

I must also say that I do not appreciate the accusations you have made. After receiving further information about your property, we conducted a detailed review and concluded that proceeding with an appeal at this stage would carry a genuine risk of increasing your current Rateable Value. As your appointed agents, it is our responsibility to protect your interests, not to expose you to unnecessary financial risk.

Had we not been acting in your best interests, we could have proceeded regardless of the potential negative consequences. Instead, we have chosen the responsible path—to monitor your assessment carefully and only take action when it will genuinely benefit you.

Your case remains active, and we remain committed to achieving the best possible outcome for you across the current and future rating periods.

I would appreciate if you would remove this inaccurate review immediately.

Avoid no saving on business rate

They were confident they will reduce my business rates, no pb. Ask few thousands to set up the appeal. ! year after (and a lot's of chase) my rates are finally fine. Avoid at all cost

Great service - good price

Great service, great outcome, do what they say and when they say it, communication was good. Paul was great from start to finish, I thought they were fairly priced, was definitely worth it from my perspective.
