4 Day Scotland Trip with Star Tours
Just got back from a fantastic 4-day Scotland trip with Star Tours. It was an amazing experience from start to finish.
A special mention to Krish Patel – full of energy, always smiling, well organized, and he explained every location really well. He kept the group together effortlessly and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable.
The highlight for us was meeting some wonderful Indian families. Everyone was so warm, and they absolutely adored our little daughter, playing with her throughout the trip. It genuinely felt like being with family, away from home.
A memorable trip with beautiful places and even better people. Would definitely recommend Star Tours, and if Krish is your tour leader, you're in good hands! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Historic Scotland Trip was a memorable experience. The hotel, all meals, sightseeing, excursions, tour manager Divash Joshi and coach captain Mihai.
Experience - Positives & Areas of improvement
Positives:
1) structured tour
2) superb coach with comfort seating
3) Mr Vincent D Souza - Tour manager, & coach captains M/s Mohsin & Andre performed consistently overcoming challenges along the line. They were pleasant in their interactions and answered questions in a professional manner through out the tour. Mr Vincent provided briefs on the significance of each tourist spot. The arrangements for food (lunch & dinner) - we found it excellent with the Jain option
4) a washroom - inside the bus - for exigencies provided much relief to elderly passengers
5) Mr Subramaniyan, our Point of Contact (POC), was helpful on every occasion we had approached him
Areas of Improvement:
1) Free wi-fi to be provided in the bus
2) Dinner should preferably be prior to 2000 hours local time
3) Water bottles to be provided - two per passenger per day
4) hotel hygiene at Thoiry (France) needs to be improved
5) few hotels had one elevator - causing inconvenience for moving luggage
6) one complimentary item - a cabin bag or equivalent per traveller needs to be provided

Excellent Italian Itinerary but Below-Expected Dining Arrangements
We recently travelled on the Italian Tour from 16th to 21st June. Overall, the trip was enjoyable and well organised. The highlights included visits to the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and the excursion to Lake Garda, all of which were memorable experiences. Our guide was very knowledgeable and managed the trip very well overall.
However, we would like to bring to your attention a few concerns regarding the dining arrangements in Rome.
The quality of the food provided was significantly below the standards we have come to expect from Star Tours. At Gandhi Hotel(Rome), the non-vegetarian dishes contained very little meat, and the curry appeared to be prepared using small scraps rather than substantial portions.
Similarly, our experience at Zoya(Rome) was disappointing. The food was served cold, and once again, the non-vegetarian dishes contained very little meat.
Food was good in other locations.
One of the key reasons we choose to travel with Star Tours is the consistently good quality of food provided during the tours. Therefore, these experiences were particularly disappointing. We hope this feedback will be taken into consideration, as the continued provision of food that falls below the expected standard may influence our decision regarding future tours with your company.
We trust that appropriate measures will be taken to maintain the high standards for which Star Tours is known.
Star Tours - Enchantment of Switzerland & Italy - May 19, 2026
We went on the Enchantment of Switzerland and Italy tour that commenced on May 19, 2026. The tour manager, Sujit Shirke was very friendly, patient and accommodating. The places we visited were awesome.
The only issue was with the food at some of the Indian restaurants in Italy - we felt like we were being herded and rushed just because they were expecting another group of tourists. 'Delhi6' restaurant was the worst - the ambience itself puts you off and the food was oily - the papadums and parathas were dripping oil. In some other restaurants the desserts had gone bad and when one of the guests asked as to when it was made, the answer was "the previous day" but when Sujit asked another person there, he said it was made the same day.
Overall the tour was good and I would suggest looking out for better restaurants in Italy. The food in Switzerland was very, very good.
Grand Europe Tour with Vivek D’silva
My parents and I recently completed the Grand Europe tour from 5/9 to 5/26, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our tour manager, Vivek D’silva.
From the very beginning, Vivek demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and dedication. He is calm, knowledgeable, hardworking, courteous, and incredibly attentive to every member of the group. What impressed me most was his ability to connect with people of all ages, from children to senior travelers - making everyone feel comfortable, valued, and included.
Throughout the journey, he kept the tour organized and running smoothly while maintaining a warm sense of humor that made even the busiest travel days enjoyable. Hotel check-ins, check-outs, transfers, and daily schedules were handled seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Whenever questions arise, Vivek was always approachable and eager to help. He also shared excellent recommendations for authentic local food and experiences, which made our trip even more memorable.
One incident during the tour truly highlighted his outstanding leadership and genuine care. At Mount Titlis, due to a miscommunication between myself and a colleague from the tour group, I became briefly separated from my parents and was extremely worried. Vivek remained calm and immediately coordinated with me and the relevant team members on site to locate them. Thanks to his quick thinking, professionalism, and reassuring approach, my parents were found safe and reunited with the group without delay. His ability to resolve problems efficiently while keeping everyone calm was remarkable.
Vivek consistently went above and beyond to ensure every traveler had a positive experience. His genuine care, flexibility, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction transformed what could have been a complex and exhausting journey into a fun, stress-free, and unforgettable adventure.
He is truly an asset to the tour company, and I would highly recommend traveling with him. Thank you, Vivek, for making our Grand Europe tour such a wonderful and memorable experience.
Well organized Swiss Paris trip, with Indian food!
Well organized Swiss Paris tour, with a great itinerary covering the important places while not being too hectic, comfortable Mercedes Benz coach with extra wide clear windows, and great Indian food on most days!
It was all professional from the booking stage. We booked via Chennai branch of Star tours, where Mr. Subramaniyan guided us at each stage from Visas, payment and cleared any doubts along the way very promptly.
The tour guide Saykat Choudhary was great in giving a lot of interesting information while guiding us to the different places of interest. He dropped us at the right spot at night to get great photos of the illuminated Eiffel Tower.
They had arranged for Indian lunch and dinners at the local Indian hotels in the various cities. They were all good.
We went as a family of four, and we couldn't have covered so many places in that time and expense if not for this arranged tour!

Treasures of Europe – An Unforgettable 9‑Day Journey!
We recently returned from the Treasures of Europe tour covering Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France — and what an incredible experience it was. In just 9 days, we explored a remarkable number of destinations, yet the trip never felt rushed. Every day was filled with beautiful sights, smooth planning, and wonderful memories.
A very special mention goes to Vinay Shetty, our tour manager, who truly elevated the entire experience. His sense of humor kept the group smiling, his deep knowledge of every destination enriched our understanding, and the care he took to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety was exceptional. Vinay made the journey not just enjoyable, but genuinely memorable.
We also want to appreciate our coach pilot, Gabor, who did an outstanding job throughout the tour. His calm and skillful driving, especially while navigating the chaotic celebrations in France during the FSG victory, kept us safe and on schedule. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.
The food arrangements were excellent, the itinerary was well‑designed, and the connections we made with fellow travelers were the icing on the cake. By the end of the trip, it truly felt like everyone on the bus had become one big, happy family.
This tour gave us memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommended to anyone looking to explore Europe with comfort, fun, and great company.

STAR TOURS has always been one of our favorite tour operators, and we have traveled with them on many occasions.
The 7-day Lakes and Valleys tour was very scenic and enjoyable. The destinations covered were beautiful, and the overall itinerary was well planned. The tour managers were helpful and provided good information about the places we visited. The drivers were polite and assisted with luggage handling, which was greatly appreciated.
The hotels were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff at the hotels were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Having Indian food available throughout the tour was a real blessing and added greatly to our comfort and enjoyment.
* Areas for Improvement
The tour was divided into two parts—3 days and 4 days—with different tour managers, drivers, and buses. This change was not communicated to us in advance, which was disappointing.
Mr. Shaji was good, but Mr. Ananth was excellent. He explained every place, monument, castle, garden, cathedral, and attraction in great detail, making the experience much more informative and enjoyable.
Another issue was regarding the Snowdon Mountain Railway tickets. The booking form mentioned that the tickets were optional, but neither the Ahmedabad nor Wembley office informed us whether we needed to arrange them ourselves or whether the office would arrange them. As a result, we had to book the tickets online on our own, which was disappointing and could have been communicated more clearly before the tour.
Overall
Despite a few communication issues, the tour was very enjoyable. The scenic locations, good accommodation, Indian food, helpful staff, and excellent guidance from Mr. Ananth made the trip memorable. Better advance communication regarding tour arrangements and optional activities would make the experience even better for future travelers.

We recently travelled on the 4-Day Swiss Special tour with Star Tours, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned, covering some of the most beautiful destinations in Switzerland while ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable pace for all travellers.
A special mention goes to our Tour Manager, Rahul Gupta, whose professionalism, knowledge, and dedication made the trip truly memorable. Rahul was exceptionally organised, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone in the group was comfortable and well informed. His excellent coordination, local insights, and friendly personality created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the tour.
The hotels, transportation, sightseeing arrangements, and overall tour management were of a very high standard. Travelling with family, including children, can sometimes be challenging, but Star Tours and Rahul ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the breathtaking Swiss scenery.
We would highly recommend Star Tours to anyone looking for a well-organised European holiday, and Rahul Gupta deserves special recognition for his outstanding customer service and commitment to making the tour enjoyable for everyone.

Star Tours Spain Tour: Poor Organisation, Mismanagement and Disappointing Experience
Before sharing my experience, I want to mention that this review comes from someone who has travelled with Star Tours many times over the years. I have been on more than 10 Star Tours trips, including UK day trips, shorter holidays, and European tours. Because of that, I have a fair basis for comparison, and unfortunately, I feel the overall experience has severely declined compared with previous years.
The tour manager on this trip was Santosh Raghavan.
From the very first day, the experience felt disorganised. At the airport, the tour manager had no visible Star Tours sign or clear identification. Even as a repeat traveller, I only eventually recognised him. For first-time travellers, it would have been confusing and poorly managed from the start.
There was further confusion during check-in, with passengers directed to the wrong queue, causing delays. Even airport staff had to intervene, but there still seemed to be uncertainty from the tour manager.
Communication was also a serious issue. The contact number provided in the final documents was incorrect, leading us to contact the wrong manager. In addition, both SIM cards used by the tour manager were not working throughout the trip, leaving no reliable way to contact him in an emergency. For a group tour, this is a basic safety and operational failure.
The food was another major let-down throughout the trip. While Indian cuisine is part of the offering, there was no real variation or effort in menu planning. Every meal followed the same structure: papad, onion, tomato and cucumber starter, followed by one paneer dish, daal, one vegetable dish, rice and naan. This same format was repeated every day without change. Lunch and dinner.
Previous Star Tours trips offered far more variety, including dishes like poha, pav bhaji and aloo paratha. This time felt repetitive and poorly planned. It was also mentioned by a restaurant owner that they receive a fixed menu list directly from the Star Tours office, which suggests this lack of variety was a deliberate choice rather than a restaurant decision. Some restaurants also had limited or no meat options at lunch, which was not made clear at booking and left several passengers with limited choice.
Despite the itinerary mentioning a Spanish continental dinner, there was no real attempt to include local food or adapt the experience to the destination. Instead, the same repetitive set menu was served throughout the trip, which felt out of place for a European tour and reduced the overall experience.
On the coach, the microphone was often left on accidentally, allowing passengers to hear private conversations between the driver and tour manager, including disagreements. This was unprofessional.
On one day in Catalonia, Barcelona, the driver got lost, leading to around an hour of unnecessary driving in the mountains and significant delays. Because of earlier delays, we arrived late to the Magic Fountain show and were only able to view it from a distance with limited visibility, missing much of the experience.
There was also a separate night tour in Madrid, which was also disappointing. Rather than feeling like a guided experience, it felt like a simple transport between locations with 0 explanation or engagement. For the additional €20 per person charge, the value was non-existant + did not match the expectations set by the itinerary.
At Montserrat, it was not made clear in advance that many internal areas required additional payment. We were given almost three hours there, but there was little to do without paying extra, making the stop a waste of time.
Barceloneta Beach, Park Güell and inside of Sagrada Familia should have been included as stops.
At one point, we were also told that the itinerary on the website was outdated and inaccurate, and that only the brochure version was correct. This is completely unacceptable, as the website is the main source customers use when booking and planning. The inconsistency reflects poor internal communication and a lack of control over customer-facing information.
The final issue occurred at Montjuïc Mountain. We were told return tickets would be provided before going up, but were let through the barrier without them. When returning, there was confusion as tickets were required. Attempts to contact the tour manager failed due to both SIM cards not working. How convenient... The issue caused unnecessary disruption. He said he would meet us at the top of the mountain.
Star Tours has never been perfect, but this trip crossed a clear line. While I understand this is a profit-focused commercial company, this is a service industry and basic organisation, and communication was not met. For the price paid, the experience did not reflect good value or a reliable service.
3 Day Paris & Disneyland Tour
Firstly we had all woken up really early to catch the 6.31 train so we were expecting a small rest with breakfast at the hotel before continuing the itinerary for the day but this was not provided. This meant we were hungry, tired and hot until dinner for the first day only. This spoiled the whole experience for the whole day as me and my cousins who flew from India for the tour didn't have the mental energy to appreciate the beautiful Paris landscapes
Secondly our tour guide was replaced last minute and did not guide us which is the whole point of a tour guide. In each landscape he left us alone and told us to meet him at a specific time. There was very limited information given to us about each landscape with no energy and enthusiasm which again ruined the whole mood
This summarises the first day
On the day for Disneyland we were expecting a "continental breakfast" as described in your website but all we got is toast with jam, eggs, beans, croissants, hash browns, apple juice and orange juice. This is not continental at all. This was the only meal given to us that day and we were expected to make lunch and dinner arrangements ourselves. Also if we were to make lunch and dinner arrangements ourselves Star Tours made it hard for us by placing us in a hotel 32min away from city centre in the middle of nowhere where there were no local shops nearby. It looked very much like an industrial estate. Also to add on the facilities in the hotel matched more of a 3 star hotel than the promised 4 star hotel
On the last day we were given the same breakfast with no lunch or break and everything felt rushed because of traffic due to a parade in the city centre which Star Tours should have been aware of which shows a lack of planning
In summary there was nothing in this tour which was worth the £518 each for the adult and £398 for the child for.

I recently completed a 5-day Scottish Highlands tour with Star Tours (23/05/2026 to 27/05/2026), and overall, it was an awesome experience! I enjoyed every single bit of the itinerary. The accommodation was wonderful, and the food throughout the trip was truly amazing.
A special shoutout goes to our driver, Steve, who was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely patient, took excellent care of everyone on board, and made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Because of the great itinerary and driver, I am definitely looking forward to booking another holiday with Star Tours in the future.
However, I wanted to share some polite feedback regarding our tour manager, Sourav, as there is significant room for improvement in how the group was managed. While I understand managing a large tour is tough, a few adjustments would make the experience much better for future travelers:
On Day 4, we were only given 40 minutes for an extensive Indian buffet with over 50 items. Because of the rush, a lot of food unfortunately went to waste. A bit more realistic planning for meal times—especially for large buffets would be appreciated.
I was traveling with a 19-month-old infant. At one point, when my baby was sleeping during a meal, I asked for a takeaway. Even though the restaurant staff and manager were completely fine with it and I offered to pay extra, Sourav declined the request. A little more empathy and consideration for families traveling with toddlers would go a long way.
While he frequently mentioned that we were "all family," the tone often felt more like a school teacher managing young children rather than professionals interacting with paying customers. On the rare occasion that guests were 5–10 minutes late due to unavoidable external reasons, they were publicly humiliated. A more understanding and respectful approach to communication is definitely needed.
Group requests, such as asking to play a movie on the coach TV, were repeatedly turned down with excuses that felt a bit disingenuous.
The trip itself was beautiful and well-worth it. I am sharing this feedback constructively because Star Tours has a great product, and with a bit of professional training in customer service and communication for the tour management team, these trips could be absolutely flawless.
