Now that I'm retired I finally decided to learn Greek from scratch. Although I'm half Greek, we didn't speak the language at home and the little Greek I knew was from annual holidays in Greece. I spent a long time researching the best place to learn Greek and am delighted with my choice in selecting Speak Greek for tuition. Konstantina has delivered an extremely well structured course of lessons, which I chose to take privately on a 1:1 basis. This dedicated method of learning is invaluable, and I have made much speedier progress than I might have done in a group lesson ... especially as I'm in a hurry to learn quickly. I also have time to put in many hours of study each week and, if you're in a hurry, like me - this dedication to study is key. After 3 months of intensive study and less than 20 hours of private lessons, I have a broad vocabulary, a sound knowledge of verbs, conjugations and grammar, which are notoriously difficult. With so many teachers available online, it is difficult to make a choice, isn't it? I was guided by the accolades, awards and reviews (all current) that Speak Greek have received and their professionalism. What makes Speak Greek different is that Konstantina and Iraklis genuinely care about their tuition and language translation services. If you're thinking of investing in tuition, I very highly recommend this provider and there's need to look anywhere else, it's 5* all the way! My studies continue and I will update this review after a few more lessons during 2023.

I needed an urgent translation for official use. Iraklis is an accredited translator that can produce document for the Home Office. He was able to do the translation within three hours of the request! Immediate service! We arranged for me to pick it up in person in Manchester and I was able to post it the same day.
