A Scam-Like Buying Experience
I ordered a V15 under a trade-in scheme on 30/08/23 but still not yet received today (25/09/23). The seller repeatedly promised and apologised but did nothing to improve the situation. There is also a repeated failure to inform me on the procedures of product return after nearly a month's repeated urges. Very disappointed of its service and Spare Hut's reaction suggests to me that it is a scam site.

Do not respond to emails in relation to faults or refunds
Purchased parts, they were quick to arrive although after purchasing there was no real confirmation that you had purchased anything. Parts arrived faulty. 4 emails sent, not a single response. Extremely poor non existent customer service

Dreadful company
Dreadful company. Obviously not UK based. The item I ordered took so long to be delivered I bought it from somewhere else. Got fed up with the fobbing off from their so called customer support. Lots of platitudes but couldn't tell me where my item was or when it might be delivered. It finally turned up, wrongly addressed, after 3 weeks. Now I am 2 weeks in to waiting for a refund for the returned item and again more platitudes from customer support but no actual refund. Do not buy from these people.
Update: Having read the reply from Spares Hut, it is obvious they didn't actually read my review. Yes the item was delivered - 3 weeks late and to the wrong address. I said that. I also said I had returned the item and was waiting for a refund - and, guess what, 5 weeks later, I'm still waiting.
I have heard all their excuses about 'technical issues' and have been assured that my refund is being processed. How hard is it to log into Paypal and make the refund?
I repeat, people, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS.

No delivery of Dyson part
Have ordered a replacement Dyson part, have had to chase twice - only communication is via email or live chat (which isn't live) - was told it was arriving 2 weeks ago - no further communication - been over 4 weeks - will be processing a chargeback and sourcing part from elsewhere

Absolutely awful!!
Absolutely awful customer service (non existent). Waited ages for "genuine" dyson part. Robotic responses from emails with no information. Part finally arrived without warning and although same model no. for the dyson it did not fit and was inferior. Emailed for refund/ return labels etc 4 weeks ago but no response. Cheek of it is they will not refund but credit to the account. They don't tell you this when you order. I don't want an account .... EVER with this company! £45 wasted.

Stay away not worth the hassle
I bought 3 items from spareshut. Dyson V10 motorhead, V10 filter and V10 battery with screws. The items were meant to be sent out within 5 working days. It got to 10 working days so I contacted them through multiple emails (tried calling no answer) I was told my items have been shipped and I will receive them next day. 2 days later I receive 1 of the 3 items ordered. I contacted them again minimum 8 times over the space for 2 weeks sent photos etc. and each and every reply was unhelpful no information on where the remainder items are or anything 5 replies seeming from different workers all replying the same thing in their own words with tracking number of the 1st item I received. Having enough of the lack of customer service I had no choice but to go to PayPal and open a case against them for a refund bit of a delay on PayPal’s part too but today finally PayPal put the case in my favour and refunded me for the two missing items. Totally useless company to say the least never ordering from them again and anyone reading this please be warned if something goes wrong you are in for weeks of chasing up! With all things said the part I did receive is genuine! I don’t write many reviews but this was so painful I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I had to get my money back! For time frames I ordered on the 4th of august item was meant to be received latest 14th got 1 item on the 16th contacted spareshut from 16th-26th opened PayPal case on 24th case was put in my favour today on the 9th September and money will be in my account by 5 working days!

Total scam company. Bought a dyson battery and filter. The battery arrive a week late and I've chased and chased for the filter and haven't heard anything. Going to speak to pay pal to get my money back. Please don't use them.

Still waiting for a response. I ordered a shark battery 3 weeks ago said it would be delivered between the 10 August and the 14th. I have sent 2 messages since and have left phone message as they. Cannot deal with my call At 11 am during the week
. strange way of doing business I will have to contact Paypal soon.

Wouldn’t even give 1 star total scam
Wouldn’t even give 1 star. Feel like I’ve been totally scammed ordering from Spares Hut. Product has not arrived, I have chased up and contacted Spares Hut, their response was very vague and also the wording is…odd. They have been unable to provide me with tracking information but my request “has been forwarded to the correct department” for this. They also only communicate/reply in the evenings and there is no one picking up the contact phone number.

BEWARE. Read before you order...
BEWARE. I ordered an 'in stock' Shark battery on 2/8/23. Two weeks later still nothing has arrived. After several emails, all of which got a prompt reply apologising profusely ‘it was their utmost priority’ and ‘they were looking into it as a matter of urgency’ and ‘my problem would be resolved immediately’ etc etc, still nothing has arrived. ‘Customer Service’ appear to have absolutely no contact with the place that actually sends out the goods. Days go by and still I can't hoover my sitting room. I deduce that Spares Hut may have set up a Bot to send out email apologies simply in an attempt to fend off bad reviews. My emails trigger a response, but there is no follow up. Whatever the anonymous emails say, nothing happens. In one email I was enthusiastically told to check my tracking which had been updated (‘Glad we could help’). Optimistically I checked the tracking to find that, after 10 days, it had regressed from 'Your order is on its way'! to 'Your order has been accepted'!
We hand over our money in good faith to total strangers and rely on them being trustworthy and having an effective system if things go wrong. I just wanted a battery and Spares Hut seemed like a good idea, it was not. They still have my money, but have not sent the goods promised. Before placing an order I strongly advise you look at the many bad reviews, many of which are having the same experience as myself. I do regret trusting them and the time lost in writing to them when I should have been hoovering, but I don't regret time spent writing this review. I made this mistake so now you don't have to. I have opened a Paypal request for a refund, nothing so far.(Although I bet this poor review will trigger a response below saying 'Please can you email us as soon as possible, so we can resolve this issue for you…’). If they do sort this out I shall update this review. NB you avoid bad reviews by simply by despatching what has been paid for.
18/08/23 Update: Still no battery and no refund.
18/08/2023 Having escalated my request for a refund, Paypal say this eve Faranglaos Products Ltd (Spares Hut) have 'responded to our request for shipping tracking information'. They have sent Paypal what they say is a DPD_UK_SFTP tracking number. It is not a tracking number recognised on the DPD website. This is beyond tedious.
19/08/2023 Update: The battery finally arrived. Appears to have been sent on 17th. It was delivered by DPD. The Spares Hut link to my order account still says order accepted, delivery 8 - 10th. There was never any tracking or any warning delivery was imminent. It is quite possible despatch was triggered by PayPal getting involved. Battery is genuine and was a good price, but certainly not worth the hassle and 17 days wait for delivery.

Don't bother ordering from Spares Hut - My order didnt arrive when they said it would, and they cant provide tracking
Don't bother ordering from Spares Hut. They will take your money, not deliver your goods, and repeatedly tell you over the course of 3 days that they have submitted your request for tracking to the relevant department, yet not provide you with the tracking.
I have asked them to cancel the order and provide a refund, and they just simply say they have submitted the request for tracking to the relevant department. I would also suggest that given the time they start responding to emails, they are not based, and i would also suggest, not shipping from the UK. That address on their website advises "Registered Office Address for Legal Correspondence:" Pretty specific I would suggest.
and Spareshut, you could have avoided ANY review if you had just sent me tracking info to prove you did ship the item (a repeated lack of submission suggests you havent).

17/08/2023 - Raised a case with paypal to recover my money. Spares Hut finally provided tracking, however I can see why they didn't want to. Despite this order being raised on the 7th of August 2023, despite the delivery window being the 11th - 15th of August, despite them assuring me on the 15th of August the item had been shipped (i have the email if they want to counter this), and despite me asking repeatedly for a refund for the last 3 days, the tracking reads:-

They lied about shipping it, they ignored repeated requests for a refund, they shipped it despite those demands for a refund, and they only provided tracking when paypal forced them to, or paypal would have taken their money, and refunded me, and just the final piece of disrepect, they sent it 48 hour tracked, not even 24.
Their are words for retailers like this, i wont repeat them here, but im sure you can think of what they are.
Needless to say, avoid like the plague. They definitely don't appear to be based here on only starting to reply to queries for 19:00 onwards, they use Americanised spellings, and I'm guessing that this parts been on a slow boat from somewhere.
The bit I don't understand is, I'm going to refuse the delivery, or ship it right back to them. What did they think they would gain by shipping it after 3 days of me demanding a refund????
Update - They tried to claim that they had shipped it on the 9th, by sending me a screenshot of their own internal system. Just because your internal system says you shipped it, doesn't actually mean you bothered to ship it, or give it to a carrier to deliver. Again I pressed them for proof from a carrier showing tracking from the 9th onwards, and guess what, they havent been able to provide it, yet i still have the tracking the were forced to send to paypal for the 16th. So not only does this company lie about its expected shipping date, or when they shipped an item, they also try to gas light you. Im now having to wait for receipt of god knows what, so that I can send it back to them, to get my money back, which im sure they will also mess up. More updates to come i suspect.

Spareshut appear to have woken up, updating a lot of the 1 star reviews, many of which they are branding malicious, despite them all sounding like the same sort of experience.Following spareshut trying to label this review malicious, I have provided them with the information they requested. They appear to have banned a number of people from shopping with them according to updates to reviews, and if they ban me, I don't care, I won't shop with them again. They originally advised they would resolve this issue to my satisfaction, and then didn't do anything. So if you want to shop at a company who does the above, and won't own any of the issues, and would instead try to brand a customer malicious, shop at spareshut.
