Avoid Seller

Same situation as other reviews. Order placed for Dyson motorhead, and no delivery within dates advised. Follow up emails/online chats all seem to be automated, and no response on delivery. Phone line not working or being answered. Raised a Claim with Paypal, and waiting for response.
Company probably either non-existent or poor organisation or scam. Avoid and go direct to main suppliers, in this case Dyson.

You never sent me the product, I had to ask and then I got a refund from PayPal because you couldn't prove otherwise, it had to be delivered by October 30th Nov 1, and after 5 reminders your response on November 3rd was the following ....(HI,

DO NOT USE

Order a Dyson part which was meant to be delivered in 3-4 days. Nothing arrived; no tracking and no reply to my emails.
Then out of the blue two weeks later an email apologising for the delay and the part is on its way. They said they would send me the tracking info but of course there’s been nothing. No track and no part!!! PayPal next to useless in cancelling the order.

Scam continues

My item wasn't delivered. I raised a complaint with Paypal and got refunded previously. Now they send me emails, asking me to pay for an item that wasn't delivered. Absolute jokers!

Ordered a product in October, said 7-14 days delivery. Nothing arrived. No tracking number, website showed not dispatched. No communication answered (Webchat, email, phone).
Raised a pay pal dispute, pay pal supported and refunded in November. Documents submitted included screenshots of the website showing that the items hadn’t been dispatched and no tracking and the unanswered communication.
Today get an email from spareshut claiming I had both the product and refund (I categorically did not, I ordered from another website in November after getting my PayPal refund) and demanding I make payment or return the product.

Completely appalling service.

Update; your response states you have tracking and you’ve provided it. Which is a lie, you have never provided tracking despite me emailing you four times requesting it. I supplied PayPal with screenshots of this as part of the chargeback request and they agreed and upheld the request. Further to this you emailed me back last week confirming it was never delivered and saying you had deleted the invoice and apologising for the email. More terrible service in the reply to this review.

#HUT4453 Raising PayPal dispute RESOLVED

I've not received my delivery. To be fair it's only two days late but having read the reviews here I will be raising a claim with PayPal for a full refund. Furthermore:
- company has not provided a tracking number even though the confirmation email stated it can be tracked.
- I sent them an email and received no reply, not even an automatic one.
- phone number listed on website does not work.
- a different phone number you can find elsewhere on the website just keeps on ringing. The phone ID for this number displays a completely different company name: a security firm.
- chat only allows automated responses; it is impossible to chat to a representative.

The company goes out of its way to make contacting them impossible. I suspect, having read other reviews, a comment will swiftly appear urging me to contact the to resolve the matter. I will gladly do so if you provide a phone number other than 020 3868 3216 (doesn't work) or 03333355871 (registered to Stallion Knight Security, which nobody picks up).

It certainly looks like a scam. AVOID

UPDATE: I cannot respond to the comment below so I'll post the update here:
1. After posting the original review I raised a dispute with PayPal. PayPal gave the seller time to respond until 22 Feb before taking any action which means I have not received a refund or any money back whatsoever.
2. Spares hut emailed me on 13 Feb saying they item will be shipped and I will receive a tracking number within 24 hours. I did not receive any tracking information.
3. Item did in fact arrive yesterday. It is a genuine working part.
4. I have just closed the dispute with PayPal - no action was to be taken on this until 22 Feb so I repeat: I have not received a refund. I suggest you take it up with PayPal in case they withheld the payment. I'm still being charged. Also, I've not been contacted by anyone chasing a payment by email or by telephone so this is a blatant lie.
5. I am glad I started the dispute and posted this review as it was the only way to actually contact you and get you to reply - two dodgy phone numbers that don't work and you take two weeks to reply to an email - I have a feeling this was only because of the steps I took.

I will not be buying from you again.

Update 2: received a notification from Trust Pilot that Spares Hut need more details to verify this is a genuine review. If not supplied in 3 days the review will be removed. I will happily oblige. I've provided the details but happy to post here too: order number was #HUT4453. Looks like someone is trying to remove unfavourable reviews.

WOW!!!

I'm going to be honest here, I was super sceptical about buy from this company, as the part was exceedingly cheap compared to the manufacturer & other retailers, also some reviews put me off, but believe me when I say, spares hut is absolutely genuine and gave me, without a shadow of a doubt, the best customer experience I've had in years.

1) part was three times cheaper than anywhere else,
2) they answered my email within a few hours, putting my mind at ease.
3) I ordered the part two night ago..TWO NIGHTS AGO!!!! , with free postage... all I can say is WOW!!! If that's not a 5 star service, then I don't know what is.

Don't use this company. After more than a month, no sign of my order. I think they may have gone bust - their website is down, no replies to my emails, and the phone no doesn't work.

Customer service is awful

Customer service is awful. no replies to emails, live chat or phone number. order arrived 3 weeks late and is faulty. Trying to send it back for a refund but i think i am wasting my time. Should have gone to dyson for the same part a fiver dearer! Wont be using them again.

Zero communication when wanting to return purchase

I ordered a Dyson battery which arrived fine but discovered it was the wrong one so tried to return. Having send two emails and calling Spares Hut as well as leaving voice mails to ask how to return the product I am left with going to my credit card company as not one email was responded to as well as the voicemail.

DISASTER of a company and i would…

DISASTER of a company and i would question whether they are honest or not...

Ordered & paid for a Dyson V15 in November 2023, it was an exchange deal they were offering...

Got a delivery date of around a week later between stating between 29th - 1st .. nothing arrived and no contact from them

Contacted them COUNTLESS times via their chat and their email, constantly promised they would get back to me once they had looked into it... NOTHING other than excuses that they were sorry for the delay and they would look into it further... no date, no explanation as to why no delivery, no answers, just a constant diatribe of "We are sorry that you have experienced this, I will look into this and get back to you within the next 48 hours" then silence until I messaged again and 2-3 days later I get (can you guess ?)

"We are sorry that you have experienced this, I will look into this and get back to you within the next 48 hours"

Utterly pathetic and I believe scammers as if you do a search on Google for Dyson Deals and hit shopping you will find a number of sites offering similar deals and ALL the websites have different domains but are virtually identical in their layout and functioning.. look for yourselves

COWBOY OPERATION DO NOT USE

Do not be fooled by this company website it is most likely a couple of people working out of a flat it is not a professional business.
I went for an offer they advertised 24th November and filled in the required form as requested with all information needed. I got a generic automated email which everyone probably gets with a standard delivery time which is basically rubbish estimated time Thursday, 30 Nov–Monday, 4 Dec. I emailed 6th Dec asking what was happening as it involved an exchange I would need a specific date time to be in, I got a response telling me I should have got that when I submitted the form (I did not get this after filling the form) they asked if I filled the form in (surely they could check this?) the email had no signature just text and no name and ended with allow me a few minutes to check this for you. I replied with a copy of the form and when I sent it but never got a response so waited and then sent another email on 8th Dec saying that it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received a date. I later raised a dispute with PayPal I then got an email response on 12 December with an apology saying they had been very busy over the last few weeks please wait while I check your order. I responded asking why their phone number doesn't work and that I had escalated to PayPal for a refund. I've now received my refund from PayPal as they never got a response from the company surprise surprise.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

This company has had the cheek to send me an invoice for the refund I received from PayPal as apparently I received the Dyson. I haven’t received it and it was an exchange so surely they should have my old Dyson if I have exchanged it? I’m still using the old Dyson that was going to be used for the exchange which they had pictures of! More proof that this company is completely incompetent AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Warranty Replacement Problems

My item was delivered on time, so this was not a problem. However, when the item became faulty within the guarantee period, obtaining replacement via this company has so far proven to be impossible. Emails were initially answered and an agreement was made to replace the item. However, now (like others below) I get no response to any attempts to further enquire as to the whereabouts of my replacement. They don’t answer the telephone, and they no longer respond to my emails. I assume therefore that my replacement item will not be forthcoming. I still await a response to my third email. The ball is in their court.

Avoid scammers

Stay clear of this company it has completely false information regarding the courier service you are offered and what you get whether you pay extra like me and upgrade to next day delivery or not I imagine. They do not use dpd next they use Evri. Expect to be refunded your extra payment you make once you complain and wait 4 days for your item. Not good at all feel scammed I must say. I will be taking my custom to a more honest company in the future.
