Order expected early Feb. Multiple emails, FB messenger, IG messenger, Pinterest messenger, all zero response. Appalling customer service. Or lack thereof. Will never shop there again. Rubbish experience.

Unfortunately, they didn’t fulfill their end. I was given a credit for furniture, spent time with a designer on a space, selected furniture pieces, paid shipping, and order was never fulfilled. They kept saying they were checking with vendors and giving the run around. They could have been transparent and honest but super disappointed in how they handle their customers. Eventually I received an auto-email to review my order and that it was fulfilled. All lies. Truly unbelievable. What an unprofessional company.

Phone number and email are disconnected. No response to online order.

We ordered an item that ended up being out of stock.

We initially requested the cancellation of our order on Monday, December 29, used Spacejoy's specific system for requesting the full credit card refund on Monday, January 5, and have now reached February without receiving a refund.

Customer service is slow to respond. Do not do business with this company.

I worked for Spacejoy for several years as an interior designer. In the beginning, the company was genuinely great. Designers were high quality, everyone went through proper training and review, and we all worked under strong design standards. The team cared about quality and client experience, and it showed in the work.

About a year ago, things started to decline significantly. Many talented designers left due to poor management, repeated payment delays, and very weak leadership. Around the same time, e-commerce became a major issue. Payments from clients were being processed, but orders were not actually being fulfilled. Many clients were left waiting for furniture and products with no clear communication or resolution.

As of today, designers are still not being paid and are expected to continue working without compensation. Naturally, this directly impacts design quality and overall service. I personally left the company several months ago, and they still owe me money.

Because of this, I would not recommend working for this company or hiring them to design your space. I was very loyal to Spacejoy for years, but people deserve to know what is really happening behind the scenes.

Be weary of this company. They may have been good at one point but you can tell they've gone down hill this last year. They are not currently paying their designers for the work that they are completing. They are having issues ordering products for customers and refunding customers. It feels like a Burke Decor situation. Would avoid at all costs.

They took my money before finding out that the product was discontinued. I had to reach out to them to find this out. Where is my product, oh sorry this is discontinued.

After various emails they agreed to refund me. I have yet to receive my refund and it’s been over a month.

I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

I have been trying to contact Space Joy and they have gone silent.

Buyer beware!

I purchased a table through Spacejoy and for about two weeks, I never had a shipping confirmation sent. I reached out via email inquiring, and got no response. I sent a second-request email, asking when the table would be delivered and finally received a response stating that the table was no longer available. Very surprising that they didnt know this sooner. Very frustrating having my money tied up with them for two weeks then being told my refund could take up to 7 to 10 days. I wouldn't do business with them again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! I chose this experience through a Fab Fit Fun box earlier this year and it was the best choice ever! I took a few measurements and photos of my sparse living room and within days, received beautiful design options with links to all of the suggested products in the same email. I had a smaller budget that they stayed within and found lower-cost options that were still high quality. The furniture and accessories that purchased through Space Joy were shipped promptly and delivered with care. I can wait to get them started on my basement.

The Spacejoy Team has designed 7 rooms for me over the past three years. Their designs are absolutely gorgeous and their products are high quality and beautiful. The designers listen to their clients and deliver exactly what we are looking for. They offer many options, revisions and products to choose from. No detail is overlooked. Just a warning to people being contacted by recruiters offering a remote job by boosting Spacejoys visibility online. They market it as a customer service/ online engagement role but in reality it is a well-done scam.

Spacejoy should be made aware of this as well.

I had the absolute best experience! The edits I provided were quick and the design exceeded my expectations. My son’s room looks beautiful! So happy yo have tackled this project with Spacejoy!

Spacejoy is such a cool concept! I know what I like and don't like but I have such a hard time mixing and matching pieces and visualizing them in my space and often times buy things and then end up either returning them or losing the money completely, if nonrefundable. Spacejoy brought everything to life for me and saved me a ton of time and money. Hannah is an incredible interior designer and I'm now in love with my new living room! About to request that she decorates my dining room and will be using her for the rest of my house as well. :)

I have tried both Spacejoy and Havenly. Spacejoy is a mile ahead. I've given four stars because Spacejoy takes a very long time to get started but once started, the experience has been great. My designer Hannah was extremely easy to work with and is extremely talented. I am already working with her again on another room.

I had a great experience working with Spacejoy! The designer's selections suited my style, budget and practical needs. The images and 3D view made it very easy to visualize the results.

Designer is very responsive and got what I wanted right away.

I had a great experience with Space joy! It took a few times to get my ideas across but the designer listened with each revision and finally nailed it! My only critique is the budget wasn't really accommodated so I did have to make some substitutions when shopping online for similar, but less expensive pieces. Overall, I'm very happy and would use them again!

I tried Havenly, Swatchpop and Spacejoy. Spacejoy was the best in rendering 3D realistic images of my room and the designer i worked with did a good job. Havenly designers are more accessible and get more input from the client but the actual rendering of the design is less realistic. Swatchpop was the worst in designer interaction and final design rendering.

Overall I’m happy with most of the designs I was sent after revisions were made. One of the designs (our large deck) felt a bit rushed in that the pictures were wrong and there was a whole section with just nothing in it and then in the first revision it was just a random couch. I’m still waiting on the second revision for that one. The 3 stars is for communication and shopping list. The communication with the designer was definitely sparse and not the two business days it says in the chat, and both times I was communicated dates for submissions and revisions they were not met. When designs were submitted, there was no message about why or what or any of those things. Also when you shop you have to go to 1000 sites for each object.
I used Havenly for a few other rooms and it was just a better experience. More communication throughout the whole process, let me know why and what, I could give them feedback and revisions were made right away and they included alternatives. Also they just seemed to take my style much more into consideration. Shopping is also easier as you purchase straight from them and they place the order while honoring coupon codes for different retailers.
I didn’t have an awful experience with Spacejoy but they wouldn’t be my first choice or first recommendation.
