Not sure if worth the price
For the price, we thought it would be better. We decided to purchase enough product to do the living room and hold off on the primary bedroom to see if it worked in our first floor condo.
By the time our contractor was finished installing, sanding the new drywall and painting, it cost us over $4000 to do a 12 X 19 foot room. That's a lot when it doesn't work.
Not sure what could have helped. We/he explicitly followed the install directions.
Customer service was good on the front end, but once we bought all the product, they never checked back in to see if we were ready to do the other room.

I am very sorry that you are not happy with your experience or purchase with our company. I show that you were working with Ryan Y., from our sales team 12/21/22, when you reached out via a contact us form. It looks like Ryan suggested our top solution for your situation, best existing ceiling assembly. We have never had any issues or negative reviews with this solution prior to this. In early January of this year, he prepared for you 2 estimates, one for $1,950.28 on 1/9/23 and the other $3,158.81 on 1/3/23. The first estimate listed for $1,950.28 was purchased on 1/9/23. There was numerous email correspondence between you both at this point. We then show on 2/7/23 you emailed Ryan asking if you could return unused material. It was discussed what was being returned, at no time during this email chain did you state you were unhappy with how the project turned out, requested a follow up or that you were continuing with the other project that you had already been quoted. After speaking with Ryan he gathered with the unused material wanting to be returned, you were not moving ahead with the other project. While we never received the return, Ryan said he did not hear anything further, he thought the estimate was closed.
In this situation we feel he could have followed up with you regarding the estimate since you did not technically say that the project was not happening. This has been discussed with the sales team.
I will also be emailing the email on file.

Horrible install directions
Unfortunately from the start. Justin was not the greatest to work with. He was short on answers short on information and I asked several questions that he did not know the answers to. Unfortunately the material came and the instructions I were given if I would have used them would have screwed up the whole entire system because they didn't even have the right measurements! The whole instruction manual is really a joke. That leaves you asking more questions. The diagrams don't explain and there's not enough diagrams for what you're doing. When you call and ask you get help but it's the fact that you have to keep calling to make sure you're doing it right because the instructions leave you feeling incompetent like they were written by a 4-year-old from a different country! The material worked fairly well. I'm sure I could have saved a lot of money using rockwool instead of this insulation. The ceiling track worked for noise once I put two layers of drywall on. Can't say I would ever use this product again. Feel like I could find most everything elsewhere except for the isotrax system. Unfortunately, for the price that I had to pay in the lack of customer service I got, this would cause me to take my business elsewhere in the future as a contractor! I've been looking into basement remodeling systems for sound and this was what I came up with but after some study of the market I found other places that are willing to work with me and that their customer service is top notch! Only thing I can say that's bad about the product is it comes with a lack of instructions and then when you're putting lighting in they really don't know how to do it! Unless you create a bunch of boxes for your can lights that are little LEDs more. You use tiny little pucks and use them everywhere which will increase your lighting cost by about $10,000! Do yourself some research and you will find that products and prices vary at other companies and the customer service is willing to help you. I would just ask that the very first time I called and contacted Justin about the product that he would be more personable to deal with and not feel like you're wasting someone's time. When you're calling asking about their product and how it's used! You should be willing to give a full detail of what's going on and be willing to communicate with them. Unfortunately, Justin was not willing to do that and really left me with a bad taste in my mouth about working with this company because of his lack of leadership and professionalism!

I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience working with our company.
I have gone through all of Justin's email correspondence and the only lingering questions I was able to see were those that you did not answer. Such as how many screws you needed to be sent to you because you felt you were shorted. Justin also had our sales manager involve our TForce rep to help you get the remaining part of your order from your local hub.
I was not privy to any phone conversations, however, in our open concept sales office I can imagine any inappropriate tone or behaviors would have been overheard and immediately addressed by our sales manager sitting next to Justin, or our COO, that sits across from Justin.
I always try to use situations like this as an opportunity to grow, so we have spoken with the entire sales team, reminding them of the importance to give detailed answers and be courteous, not short or curt. I apologize if you do not feel you received this level of service.
As for the instructions that you are referring to, we have fine tuned them over the years to try and keep them as simple and informative as possible for our customers.

Good product, though has a strong smell.
Product was very promptly shipped, which was great.
However, we were surprised at how strong the odor is from the "Impact Barrier QT Flooring Underlayment" - two weeks later, while it has faded, it is still strong enough that anyone new who comes into the room notices it.

Fast ship, fair product price.... shipping price? well... Realize the product is heavy, but wow, kinda steep.

We ship an enormous number of materials in and out, sadly, without our discounted negotiated rates that we give all of our customers your order would have been about $75 more to ship than you actually paid. :-( We truly hope that shipping prices return to where they had previously been, because since 2019, we have doubled our spend for shipping.
Please always feel free to call in and speak with one of our sales team members. They can see if there are better options for shipping!

We do our very best to stay on top of all of or inventory, however, there are times when unforeseen events or very large quantity purchases wipe out our inventory unexpectedly. This is the case with your material. We had production scheduled at its regular time and the raw materials set to arrive prior to the manufacturing date. Unfortunately, foam, and adhesives, two extremally important raw material components in the material you ordered were suddenly pushed to a longer than normal lead time. Thank you 2020!

We needed a little time to research this because we were not exactly sure what you are referring to when you said you were not given enough shipping transparency. . Here is what we found, your order was placed at roughly 9 am on Friday 1/6/23, your order was confirmed by email on 1/6/23 at roughly 4 pm by Jenna, she stated your order had a 7 - 10 day lead time. The next business day, Monday, 1/9/23 an entire batch of raw material was received in, the same material used in the manufacturing of your order, and the material was defective. It was not strong enough or thick enough to hold the grommets and the material ripped apart, falling to the ground. In the same email on 1/9/23 Jenna had given you a new estimated ship date of 2/3/23. We received no response from you regarding this email notification on the material issue or the changed ship date.
I am sorry that you feel we were not transparent in keeping you up to date, and we would be happy to discuss this with you or any other questions that you may have.
Material issues, when they occur are frustrating for our team, as well as, our customers. However, we will never send faulty material to our customer(s). We also apologize for any issue this caused with your project schedule.

Echo absorber panels
I bought the echo absorber panels. I would had given a 5 Star if all the panels were the same size. 4 of 6 were an inch shorter length and width. In there defense… the sale guy did tell me they may not be perfectly 2 by 4 ft because there technically building materials so there wasn’t a huge suprise. Shipping was fast and my acoustic panels I built turned out better than anything I could have had boughten premade.
