I purchased a black dress but I received a different dress. I contacted their customer service email asking about the process to follow to return the item and get a refund (cost of the dress £42). Never received a response. Be mindful the items pictured on the website are probably all fake.

Awful. Wool knitted hoody with metal rings and knitted designs advertised: a cheap Temu print delivered. Not wool, not knitted, no resemblance to the image presented except a terrible print on a cheap nylon jacket. Website pretends it's a Dutch store, it's not. It's shipped from China. It should be on Temu at a quarter of the price and that would be fine, but for nearly 50 quid? Not a chance. Avoid.

Utterly disgusted with this 'thing', as unable to qualify as a garment! Nothing like pictures, expected a Halloween red & sweet adorned dress - what arrived was a dull brown red printed awful quality, shameless & disgusting 'thing'
They have not responded to return & refund requested.
AVOID at all costs - as it will cost you!
Scammed.

I ordered a midi dress for a weekend away and was really pleased with it. The fit was comfortable and the length was just right for me. It looked lovely with a pair of flat sandals and was easy to wear all day.

Do not order from this company. Their products are inferior and look nothing like their pictures. It’s also impossible to get a refund as they only offer 10% back and tell you to keep the cheap item of clothing. Terrible company and terrible customer service. You have been warned

This company is a complete scam. I was looking for a gothic gown for Halloween and found a beautiful one on Sophia Avenue. It came quickly but I was horrified when I opened the package. Instead of a floor length dress with lots of flowers and embellishments I found a cheap and horrible printed knee length dress which was absolutely nothing like the photo on the website. I paid £40 for the item and even if I had wanted the dress they sent me it is so cheap and nasty that I must only be worth pennies. It's awful.

When I got back to Sophia Avenue they offered me 'goodwill' gestures which were entirely inadequate such as %50 store credit (there is no way I would want any more of their clothes, they are cheap and nasty) or 20% refund, but I would have to pay international shipping to return the item. Pathetic! They will not give me a full refund despite the fact that they have made the error sending me the wrong item.

Do not use this company. It is a scam. Be warned that they also operate under the name Maison Harrow (the same dress is advertised there).

The dress looks nothing like its picture. Its a print, not embossed, and no flowing sleeves. I got it for halloween. An expensive mistake as the dress was thirty odd quid. I should have read the reviews first. A total waste of money.

I enjoyed looking through the collection because there was a good mix of casual and slightly dressier pieces. I placed my first order without any trouble and received updates while it was on the way. The parcel arrived in good condition and the items were folded neatly inside. The whole experience felt smooth from ordering through to delivery.

Dress looks NOTHING at all like the picture you purchased from. Very cheap print on dress and very poor shape. For 35 quid it is an absolute rip off. After waiting 2 weeks I now have to go out and find a Halloween outfit as this is an embarrassment, I'd have been better off ordering the same quality from TEMU for a quarter of the price. Pretty disgusted with the site and product, would not recommend at all. Scam merchants and fraudsters.

To be honest one star is too much to rate Sophia Avenue.
The garment I ordered was tiny and would have fitted a young girl rather than myself- a UK 10-12.I ordered a size Medium thinking it would be more than a comfortable fit.
So I wanted to take up their offer of NO HASSLE RETURNS and fully intended to return the garment to the UK address on the delivery label.
To cut a LONG story very short, after days of correspondence , the best Sophia Avenue offered for their no hassle return was to offer me 20% of the cost of the garment I wanted to return, with a address in China and for me to pay postage.
This is clearly a very fraudulent company and I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from them NOT TO!
As a previous complaint stated, go to SHEIN . I would totally agree with that as their service is excellent.

The products that this company sell are awful! The quality is terrible and they look nothing like the images on their website. The no hassle returns policy is even worse than the products. Save your money, you’ll get better quality from Shein.

I wanted something light for warmer weather and chose a short sleeved dress. It feels easy to wear and works nicely with both trainers and sandals. I have already worn it a few times.

I like testing new products from their collection. It’s generally acceptable, but the experience seems quite typical and doesn’t notably distinguish itself from other comparable choices.
