The food, service and the owners @ the Indian Restaurant( India Gate ) for 3 days was absolutely poor. Despite trying to order something different ( Willing to pay for the change ) was not actioned at all and despite being told the changed dish shall come, it never came. Total lack of communication.
The Washroom facilities in the Restaurant was very poor and dirty.
On an understanding that Sona Tours would hopefully cater for Indian food for most of the days, but that was not the case.
Took an upgraded flight ( Egypt Air ). The Air hostess could not understand English, served Non Veg to the Veg eaters despite having booked strictly a Hindu Veg meal on both inward and outward journeys, and to sum it up the seats / sound systems did not work to a comfort level.
The Tour escort for the trip from London to be with us unfortunately was a absolute fresher ( Though a very nice willing to assist in whatever manner he could help with a smile )
The Local Tour guide ( Izzat ) was a fantastic knowledgeable person.
The stay in the Nile cruise boat as pretty much a 3 star and the service at the top deck was handled b only 1 server.

We have travelled with Sona Tours quit few times. Reliable people. Experience tour Guide. Value for money. Food provided as per requirement. Special for vegetarian. This trip of Egypt we enjoyed with good crowd. Quit good couches.
Provided with cold water bottles in Hot weather. Good tour Guide Vivek Vyas. Calm & jolly person. I can recommend anyone. Thank to Sona Tours to employ lovly staff.

The tour covered all the main sites of interest in Scotland. Staff helped me answer all queries before booking. The online form was not easy to navigate but staff were able to assist with solutions via phone/ email The coach was clean, comfortable with a pleasant driver who drove with care. The hotel was very clean, comfortable mattress and adequate, with basic amenities, and reception gave us shower caps when requested. The distance from coach parking to the bedrooms for less abled people with luggage was a bit of a challenge - it was fine on the other days. The hotel breakfast was OK, had alternative options, just missing any fresh fruit. The tour operator attempted to have food that met dietary requirements and the guide helped follow that up, even if it was one dish that met those needs. It’s an area that could be improved. I did suffer from food poisoning after one evening meal and one breakfast, but it’s not possible to pinpoint what could have caused this.

Vivek the tour guide deserves a 5 star rating for how he managed the trip, cared for the group and encouraged everyone to mingle with each other. So the time on the coach was filled with fun and laughter for those who wished to participate. Thanks to the team for an enjoyable trip to Scotland. I would happily use this company again as it's a very comfortable way for older people to experience a country.

I had an unforgettable experience on my Alpine tour, thanks to the exceptional service and hospitality of Sona Tours. The entire journey was perfectly organized, allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in the breath taking beauty of the Alps without any worries. Peter’s punctuality and courteous nature added to the overall comfort of the tour.One small area for improvement would be the dinner arrangements, which could benefit from a bit more effort to match the otherwise excellent quality of the tour. Additionally, allowing some personal time during the tour for guests to go around and explore on their own would enhance the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Sona Tours for anyone looking to explore the Alps with confidence and ease.

We used Sona tours Scotland excursions in Aug 25. The tour guide Vivek was very friendly and approachable. He made the entire tour a very pleasant and fun experience for all the group members.
The only thing I would suggest for Sona tours to simplify its online room booking system. It is very confusing even with the instructions. Many members travelling with more than 2 members in our group had an issue with their rooms.

We were on Sona Tour trip to Scotland on the 14th of August for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entire journey was filled with breathtaking scenery.Our tour manager Vivek was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and made our trip very enjoyable. Our driver Captain, (don’t know his real name) was very professional at driving.

Our Switzerland tour was fantastic all members of the group were very nice, I really felt happy meeting people from different parts.Mr.chetan was cooperative and good guide having knowledge of his field.Hope to meet you soon in some other tour.

We went to Swiss Alpine Tour from 30th July to 3rd August 2025. We had an amazing time and had really good time with group. Highlights were
jungfraujoch Mountain amazing views from the top. Rhine falls was really good alongside Titlis mountain.

We just returned from Swiss alpine trip and it was amazing trip with Sona Tours and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and all the people in the group were really friendly and Chetanbhai was excellent.

We recently returned from a 7-day Eastern Europe tour with Star Tours, and I can honestly say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was incredibly well-organized, from the itinerary to the travel arrangements, it all ran smoothly, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the trip.

A special mention to our tour guide Vikash, who truly went above and beyond to make the journey memorable. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the trip, and his friendly, approachable nature instantly put us at ease. As this was our first time traveling with Star Tours, we really appreciated how attentive and supportive he was, always checking in with us, ensuring we were on schedule, and handling everything seamlessly behind the scenes so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We’d love for Vikash to be our tour guide again on our next trip!

We were also very impressed with our driver, who was always punctual, friendly, and extremely professional. His smooth and safe driving made long journeys comfortable and stress-free, which really enhanced the overall experience.

This trip was not just about visiting incredible destinations, it was also about the people we met along the way. We made lots of new friends and shared so many laughs and memories that made the tour extra special.

The accommodation was excellent, all the hotels we stayed at were clean, comfortable, and well-located, with great facilities. Food is often a concern when traveling, but Star Tours had that covered too. The restaurants and meal options were fantastic, catering to different preferences and offering delicious, high-quality meals every day.

This trip has left us with wonderful memories, and we’re already considering where to go next with Star Tours. If you’re thinking of exploring Eastern Europe, we can’t recommend this tour, along with Vikash and our brilliant driver, highly enough!

What can I say about our tour guide Digvijay Rathod (DJ). Made our memorable tour more enjoyable with his witty jokes and sharing well structured mannered tour history knowledge before visiting the location and a good timekeeper on the tour. DJ your are a great asset to Sona Tour. We both enjoyed the trip right through. Accomodation and catering facilities were excellent right through the tour and will join any future tours expecting that DJ will be our tour guide. Well done DJ. Keep up the good work.

Our tour operator Dijvijay Rathod was excellent, his knowledge and passion for sharing a well structured explanation and history of our Rockies and Alaska tour was outstanding. He was very helpful, jolly cracking jokes which made our trip pleasant. We already decided to go on another venture with him. He is an asset to Sona Tours. We started the tour from 17th June till 30th June.

We booked a last minute trip to Scotland, our very first coach holiday and we are very pleased with the whole experience. From the first step of booking the holiday online to being picked up from our pickup point to visiting all the places covered in the itenerary everything went smoothly. The choice of hotel and restaurants for the dinners was brilliant. Many thanks to Sona Tours and in particular Vivek our guide and Al our driver for a memorable holiday. Will certainly use them again.

Thank you Sona Tours to provide us 5 days swiss tour. Overall the trip was wonderful memorable and covered a lot. Hotels and veg restaurant were good. Hotel Movenpick Zurich airport 4star was good but the downside was we were without ac on the first day, also bath drainage problems which was dealt after 24 hours. Hotel restaurant staff discriminate indians as they had bad experience before.
It would have been batter that last 3 days Hotel at Interlaken and Lucerne rather than Zurich airport stay as it mentioned central switzerland in your website. This save lots of travelling time and had more free evening time to spend in Interlaken & Lucerne.

We were on a Sona tours trip to Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed.
From start to finish our Scotland trip was absolutely incredible. The entire journey was thoughtfully planned, perfectly paced and filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating history and unforgettable experiences.
Our guide Vivek was helpful and kind and always a good laugh. Al was a great driver and his experience shone through. The evening Indian meals were a treat!
Highlights included lake Windermere in Lake District, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ben Nevis.
The Kelpies sculptures and the Falkirk wheel were breathtaking.
Also what made it extra special was our fellow travellers. We sang, laughed and exchanged stories and grew really close by the time the trip came to an end. 💕💕

I have just come from a tour to Switzerland with Sona Tours and wanted to share my experience. Overall, it was a well-organized trip that covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. The itinerary included all the major highlights—Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Interlaken, and Mount Titlis—and the scenery throughout was absolutely stunning.

Transportation was comfortable, and the driver Mario was very good.The hotels were clean and conveniently located, though a couple felt a bit basic compared to expectations for a Swiss trip. Meals were generally good, especially considering the challenges of accommodating a group with different preferences and dietary needs.
Would have preferred more of a mix,English and Indian.
What stood out most was the balance between structured activities.We had enough flexibility to explore local areas on our own, which added a personal touch to the group experience.
If you’re looking for a guided Switzerland tour that takes the stress out of planning and lets you focus on the views and experiences, Sona Tours delivers. It’s a good option for families or first-time visitors who want a taste of the country without worrying about logistics.

Good morning all, What an anti-climax! After such a wonderful memorable trip to Switzerland, I feel we have gained very good friends and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The weather was too hot to be kind to us, but we mustn’t complain. We must appreciate Sona tours for their itinerary as otherwise we would have struggled and wasted valuable time. We certainly packed in a lot of sightseeing within the 5 days we had. A special mention to Divyakumar for enlightening us some of the local history and organising the trip. We were lucky to have a very good driver who was very helpful and obliging. Anyway, like I said, it feels so weird and surreal without each other’s company and life must go on….till our next trip!
We celebrated my 25 years working with John Lewis with some champagne on the Golden Pass Railway.
