Solar Maintenance and Repairs Omdömen 

Solar panel micro inverters failed after 13 years. System assessed and quote given for replacement with a single modern inverter. Work completed in a few hours on the day arranged. Panels all removed, system rewired and inverter fitted where I requested it to be. Fitter was knowledgeable and very hard working completing the job by himself. Also pigeon proofed the panels. I have no hesitation in recommending SMAR and will certainly use them again

The company made an appointment for me quickly including a price for the service. The engineer kept me informed on eta on the day and the service was thorough and careful. Excellent.

Persevered with a problem that took a few visits to identify and resolve the problem. Turned up as scheduled and kept us updated on planned visits. System is now fully functional again. Engineers were efficient and communicated well. Would recommend as we were let down by the company that installed the solar panels (Good Energy who took over Wessex Eco Energy) who never returned our calls. Would recommend

Had call outs to a non functioning solar hot water system with fault traced to vermin attacking sensor cable on roof.
Cable now run through metal ducting which should solve problem.
Firm always quick to provide assistance & resolution of problem

The company responded quickly to my request and tge receptionist was helpful and reassuring. Dom, who came to the house was efficient and knowledgable. He explained things clearly. I felt he was honestt and trustworthy. He did what he could and gave me a broken down estimate for the remaining work. I woukd definitely recommend this company

Responded quickly to initially contact and fully explained what needed to be done.
Engineer who fitted the new equipment and fixed the bird proofing worked efficiently. He also set up the App and demonstrated its use.

Work to replace Solar Edge inverter was installed promptly. However we are dissappointed the engineers did not check we had a 12 year warranty before work being carried out which was still valid which we could have benefited from. This was a Solar Edge Product Warranty not a warranty from our original installers.We realise we made the mistake on not checking ourselves but we think in the initial investigation into failure of inverter, the engineer would know Solar Edge have warranties. We also expected help, or guidance to set up the Solar Edge app to help us monitor our pv system. Otherwise we think the work carried out was efficient and quick.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Absolute bunch of COWBOYS

Mo, the engineer called and spent 20mins looking at an error code , batteries disconnected.

Messed around with a few settings and then told me the invertor was incompatible with the batteries and quoted me £2495.00 to replace the invertor with the same make and model - after he just told me they invertor and batteries were incompatible!!!!!!!

I telephoned thier office, and as to date, you've guessed it, no one has replied.

Use at your own peril

First engineer rang to let us know he was going to be late. The second engineer didn't phone to let us know he was going to be late, and also had trouble finding us.
Steve who I spoke to in the office. Wa always very helpful.
Both engineers carried out the work efficiently. So very pleased with that.

Arrived on time, was helpful, Louis explained everything well and answered our questions about other aspects of solar stuff.

Very efficient process from first call to appointment, and engineer was able to fix the issue there and then. I don't know whether pricing is competitive or not because I have not experienced other service companies. However I'm pleased that my solar panels are functioning once again.

Definitely recommend SMAR. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful, came at the correct time, did the job and left everything clean and tidy. Such a refreshing change to deal with such a professional company.
