Solar Maintenance and Repairs Omdömen

Courteous, Professional maintenance & service undertaken. Good communication and explanation of what was being done.
Received appointment reminders which was helpful.

Solar Maintenance and Repairs provided a professional, informative and attentive service conducting a general survey and maintenance check on solar panels in a property I recently moved into. Having minimal knowledge of the solar panel system they took time to explain the features in a clear manner and gave a clear assessment of potential issues and potential actions for maintenance. I would definitely request their services again.

We had an appointment booked for 11am, however, the engineer (James) messaged me to say he was running late and was hoping to be with me for 12.30. He arrived at the revised time and once he had informed me of what de-commissioning the solar thermal system entailed he proceeded with the job. James carried out the work in good time and cleared all de-commissioned gear away leaving site clean and tidy. I received two follow up calls from James checking that everything was okay within the loft space, where a vent from the solar panel had been left to allow any glycol residue to evaporate off.

Great service

Efficient, on time or early, job well done. Good to find a man who knows what he is doing, unlike the sharks who installed the system at maximum profit to themselves.

The repairs were done quickly and efficiently. The staff were knowledgeable and explained everything.

We needed a thermal solar panel decommissioned.
We were struggling to find an Engineer, we came across this company on google search.
The job was booked in for a weeks time which was great as we needed it done asap.
On the day we could not have been more pleased. James discussed our requirements and went above and beyond ensuring our boiler and radiators could now be replaced. Very knowledge very tidy and so helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone wishing to decommission an old solar thermal system contact them. Very happy satisfied customer.

Very smooth booking. And flexibility when I had to change the date. The engineer was punctual and friendly and knowledgeable of the system which was reassuring. They got the system working went away to
Another job and returned to see if everything was okay. They even called later in the afternoon to check in again. I will definitely use the company again.

Responded to my initial enquiry, gave a call to clarify and had a quick turn around time for appointment.

This was the only company that I could find who repair solar hot water panels. The service was excellent and James, the engineer quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He came the next day to complete the job and service the system. We now have plenty of free hot water again from our 15 year old panels. Great service and a very efficient engineer. Not cheap, but well worth it. Definitetly use them again

Dom was able to fit me into a slot last minute to service my solar panels which I was very grateful for. Dom was professional, polite and friendly and explained clearly what he was doing and what this meant in the report. The price was reasonable and I would highly recommend this service.
It can be daunting having tradesmen in your home, particularly if you are vulnerable or in my situation, a lone female, however, I felt so at ease with Dom and trusted him. He was also clearly passionate about what he does.

As usual excellent service from this company.

Excellent service

SMAR are very professional , they solved the problem with our solar panels and replaced the inverter at the same time. everything is working perfectly.

With a quote and order/fitting
Very satisfied with engineer and company on the whole
Five stars

We are pleased with the product and installation and service in general, the fitters are friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating, communication in the most part is acceptable although I would add that keeping the customer in the Loop relating to supply issues would be helpful.

Quick assessment found identifying faults recommend replacing part and equipment. Carried out work, tested and left a very neat and tidy area.

Friendly and skillful technicians, excellent work.Problem rapidly solved..Thank you !

This company installed 2 new inverters into my existing free standing 10 kW solar system. So that I could monitor the system with their recommended Fox Cloud app on my mobile phone they fitted a push-in USB network dongle which regretfully from day one irregularly picked up a mobile signal so I hardly ever got a true reading from both inverters. After about 7 months both dongles ceased picking up any signals at all making it impossible to see how my system was working. I rang them having explained exactly what my problem was and they sent another engineer. Their engineer fitted 2 further mobile signal dongles which also did not pick up any mobile signal. I told the engineer I had a wireless system which could reach the solar system and inverters. Luckily enough the engineer has just 2 wireless dongles in his van and fitted them and after a bit of fettling got both dongles working successfully.

From start to finish they were prompt, professional and polite.

They managed to send someone out very quickly, diagnosed the issues and made it safe.
Another person came out the following week to complete the work with the ordered parts and completed everything quickly.
