Horrible people and horrible service you must avoid

THIS IS A SCAM!!!
My mum has waited over two years for a sofa that hasn't arrived and no resolution! Been fobbed off with payment plans which never happen.
Disgusting service everyone stay away!!

11 months ago we purchased two sofas valued at ,£1 950.00 from sofalux and received nothing...All we have had is lies,excuses and a catalogue of lies...Please don't purchase from this corrupt company they are scammers...Avoid and they still owe us,,£1,950.00

This is s scam. The company doesn't exist. Try the email & phone number. I have no idea how they get good reviews. They took over £600 off me and nothing arrived. No one seems able to do anything.

We had a delay on our sofa but finally arrived and we had a discount and vouchers from the directors who wer ever so apologetic for the inconvenience caused which was quickly sorted ✔️ out for us .

Please note Sofalux are still in business and operating in Sheffield....we had months of stress with this company, so we suggest you don't shop here.....We are still currently owed £1,950.00 from May 2023 and had 8 months of heartache......

bought a double bed with mattress and headboard this is the 3rd bed we have had off these guys i wouldn't buy from anywhere else reasonably priced and the beds are all so comfortable top quality thanx guys

ordered a sofa in September with due to be delivered before Xmas due to the directors problems with his management it looked like we wouldn't receive but the director dealt with it himself and we now have it he really went the extra mile thanks Mr Cusron

Like a lot of people on here I am due a refund and despite Jay saying they will issue one, I have not received the money.
Can I urge anybody else in same situation to report this to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice as the more complaints they receive about this company the more likely they are to investigate. Also use Small Claims Court to recover the money.

Myself and my partner bought a sofa from “Adam” on April 30th. He asked us to pay in physical cash £1050 right then and there as it was a bank holiday sale - this was very silly of us in hindsight but we thought we could trust him due to all of the fake reviews and the fact that we didn’t think crystal peaks would allow a fraudulent shop to run on their premises! I was 4 months pregnant at the time, and he knew this. He said delivery would be within 3 weeks, even throwing in some free extra cushions, how lovely of him.
After 3 weeks we called, delivery will be next week… then next month… then we are having logistical issues…
It got to the point where at 8 months pregnant I couldn’t be sitting on an air bed in my living room anymore whilst we waited for the sofa to be delivered, so we told him we want a refund instead and had to buy a sofa from elsewhere.
He said we can’t get a refund as the sofa was made especially for us… what a load! Contacted citizens advice and they said we are entitled to a refund. Sent him letters to say we expect a refund due to breaching customer rights act. He got back in touch on WhatsApp to say that we will get a refund by the end of the month. We knew this was a lie as we had paid in cash and he didn’t ask for our bank details or for us to go into the shop to collect the money. After the end of the month came and we didn’t have a refund, there were several more “you’ll get the refund by ….”. Then it was you can come and collect a cheque this weekend. Showed up at the weekend, the store was closed. Tried again a couple of weeks later, obviously very annoyed at this point, and he was the arrogant, horrible man that he is, even getting in my father in laws face saying “you don’t know who I am”!

It looks like he might have shut the shop down now but seems to still be making sales over the phone, so please don’t make our mistake buying from this scammer!!!

Received text following visit to check fault, promised message confirming resolution. As visit promised happened, i thought ok. I messaged chasing but no response again. Definitely not right, not trustworthy. I now get message on 15/12 asking what prob is & saying I did confirm issue. Makes no sense. I said problem on visit & confirmed on message already. Going in circles, time wasting. Offered resolution repair but dont see point no guarantee not be messed about for ages, Don't know why I bothered. Now see why there's further negative reviews.

What a joke of a company do not give them your money, they take it and promise to deliver your goods but then fob you off saying it’s stuck in Italy or a container still waiting on a refund from July.

Bought a sofa 12 plus months ago. The quality was so poor. It lasted 6 months before being so uncomfortable that we need to replace it. Awful company. Absolutely gobsmacked that Crystal Peaks allow them to trade knowing what they are like. Looking at other reviews I feel totally ripped off. Big chunk of money for something unusable. I really hope this company is made to cease trading before any more people get scammed by them.

Expected a rise and fall chair for my Mum in law over a month ago.Now been told its going to be another 2 weeks the same as the previous 2 times we phoned.Shes 92 and housebound.After reading these reveiws I guess she isnt going to get it.Im horrified that someone could rob a 92 year old who cant fight for herself.But we will fight for her.Sick to the stomach.AVOID PLEASE.Guess there will be a load of wonderful reviews after this one.Dont be fooled.

I have been looking for a good place to buy a new sofa for a few days and finally found sofalux. The sofas here were excellent and the prices were within my budget. I am satisfied with the purchase of the sofa here.

We are very happy with our new order as the quality of the sofa was very good. And the behaviour of sofalux members was very nice. I really do like their welcome and service.

Absolutely garbage!!!

Delivered late, not hours late…. Days late!! So ended up sat on camping chairs!!

Turned up not knowing how to even get it through the hallway!!

They said they would drop sofa cleaning products off as it came late but never showed up with that!!

And I have just noticed that the sofa doesn’t have its centre leg underneath so it’s starting to sag and creek!!

Don’t waste your money, Avoid at all costs and shop at a proper sofa store!!
