I’ve made multiple requests to Social Catfish to remove my personal information, and they have failed to do so.

Despite following their official opt-out process more than once, my data remains accessible. Responses have been delayed, inconsistent, or non-actionable, which gives the impression that the process is intentionally difficult.

This is a serious privacy concern. Individuals should have a clear and reliable way to remove their personal data, and that is not happening here.

I would not recommend this company to anyone concerned about their privacy.

I'd give them a zero star if I could.

There was a reasonable rate for a 3-day trial. But when I actually went to sign up, the 3-day trial offer was for an extremely limited service. I was doing reverse image searches.

When I actually tried the service, the results came back with individuals that weren't even close to who I was searching for

Dont waste your time. The website is misleading.

Purchased a subscription with hopes of finding out if my husband is cheating on me. Everything that they advertise is not accurate on what they actually can provide you with. My husband's phone number, emails, usernames and nothing was found and when I requested a refund they said they weren't able to do that and that I should try to search things that I'm certain exists. You know I can't get much more blunt than saying it's my husband and I'm pretty sure I know his email his phone number and his username since we live together and we're married but they couldn't even pull up the basic stuff

i got billed for using this service and I had never heard of it. I am 79 years old and cannot afford extra bills

They made up a story simply in order to be able to offer the service. Then when you contact them they tell a ridiculous fee. You're better off hiring a private investigator for a fraction of the cost. One SCAM after another. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!! Do not contact welcome at socialcatfish

Socialcatfish.com is a BIG SCAM.
I have been the victim of a romance scam but I was smart enough not to be fooled by her, I do a lot of research myself but get stuck and ask them for help when I found out that the woman behind it lives in Phoenix AZ and works with people from Ghana, they "Socialcatfish.com" have not been helpful to me with anything and has probably just made it all a lot worse for me, and have not contacted me at all here 10 weeks after the first email to them.
All my knowledge has come from other sites such as Pimeyes and Anywho.
"Socialcatfish.com" has now made it so that I can no longer contact them by email, under "contact us" I can no longer press "send" and I am sure that social catfish has talked to her because I can follow her on her real Facebook page and she knows it and writes strange things that are directed at me and my problem is that I have so much knowledge about those "scams" and they know it. So I don't know whether to fear for my life or not now and I can't report them since I haven't been scammed by them and lost any money.

I used Social Catfish in conjunction with newspaper archived articles and found a lot of valuable information.

I’ve reached out before, but the service is terrible. Customer service was rude, and their useless, scripted responses completely missed the point, only making my situation worse. I am deeply disappointed.

​To make matters worse, they don't even respect opt-out requests, which is a serious privacy concern. Avoid this service if you value your time and privacy.

I have checked the profiles of women from several sources. Social Cat Fish has picked out similar and exact pictures through their reverse photo match process. I have compared it to simply loading to Google to search, Social Cat Fish, gives a better report. I have figured out that many of the profile pictures I have seen are scams through this application.

I searched many images of different women over many months and never found information. Most of these women were fake profiles. This service is worthless.

Socialcatfish.com is a SCAM and employees are LIARS, and CHEATS.

Will not opt my data out despite saying they will and acting like they can't figure out how to type a basic URL when I say the data is still displaying.

IGNORE ALL THE SELF OR PAID-FOR 5 STAR REVIEWS.

Garbage. You must immediately sign up for a US$28.97 monthly plan! Garbage!

These kind of services will be free in another few months. No question!

$71.00 SCAM!!!
Website claims you'll be billed $1.00 for a search, as long as you cancel on the same day, which I did. Then I got a $71.00 charge put on my card!! I called customer service dozens of times b/f anyone picked up, and Chastity was no help. I sent many emails showing PROOF that I cancelled on the same day, but they kept replying that I hadn't cancelled within 24 hours. SCAM!!! LIARS!!! CRIMINALS!!! I am so mad I'll be reporting this to every organization I can find. This needs to be a class action lawsuit. The positive reviews are FAKE, and this company is CRIMINAL.

This platform does not work. It is to the point where I think that I am going to unfollow their YouTube channel because this is definitely a scam in terms of resorts. FaceCheck.ID and PimEye are way better and actually came back with something. I got it tried four searches and asked for my money back when nothing showed up for me in a matter of 20 minutes and they refused to refund me, cancelled my account, and offered me a "walk through" after cancelling my account. I want to contact the founders and send a detailed letter of concerns because I am truly shocked. I wish that I read TrustPilot instead of trusting the staged results I guess from their YouTube programming.

The image search was really bad. I don’t believe that social media sites were included in the search as advertised. And this is because I used an image from social media. The results just returned black bald men, stock internet photos.

This is a complete scam! They subscribe to a monthly charge without your permission. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS IS A SCAM!!!!!

I have been trying to delete my profile since beginning Dec. 2025. Multiple use of the opt-out and emailing them. They acknowledge my requests. I check to see if my profile is gone, it is for one day, and back. It's one big cycle of bs. I have screen shots of 1/3/26 showing my info is gone (Alert! There are no results for your search) and then the next day my info is back. I have never had any issues opting-out with other data brokers.
