Made Laptop purchase 5 days ago and was sent an order number immediately . Money taken from my account including tracked delivery and haven't heard a word since. Emailed everyday and no reply. Phone different times of the day multiple times and it plays hold for 15 minutes then asks you to leave a message that never gets replied too. Logged into my account every day and all it says is order processing.
I would steer clear of using this company.
Looks like I'm going down the legal route to get this laptop delivered.
Update as of 16/09/2024
Had to get my credit card to charge back the company. Still no corospondence whatsoever. Absolute scammers. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I placed an order on 11th August 2024 with 5-7 business days shipping.
My order has not arrived and 4 attempts to contact Smartteck have been ignored.
I am now having to start a chargeback with my credit card company.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NO RETURNED EMAILS OR TELEPHONE COMPLAINTS. I DID NOT READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING THE ITEM ALL NEGATIVE .... STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS SELLER.

You said you had posted the item on the 27th August ten days later still no phone

It's clear from my personal buying experience, and the 5 star reviews describing the excellent buying experience of others, that SmartTeck are a great company to buy from.

However, if you're likely to want follow-up Customer Service, you need to avoid SmartTeck.

I'm up to about 50 email attempts to get my refund for a return approved by SmartTeck and still getting nowhere. Other 1 star posts seem to indicate I'm not alone when it comes to poor or non-existent Customer Service. !!! You have been warned. !!!

The laptop bag I ordered seems to be well made and good value (allowing for discount/special offer. It arrived within 2 days of the order. I'd be even more delighted if the laptop that's meant to live on arrives quickly. Fingers crossed. I've used smartteck before, ended up with a refund (not their fault) and because they handled this fairly, I felt confident to consider them again.

his is the second NAS I bought from smartteck. The price is competitive against the big internet retail giant. The best thing is they can choose the delivery date, from next day to a few days later. Item received in good shape. No problem at all

Bought flight SIM peripherals which arrived safely packaged and ahead of scheduled arrival date.
Also the price for the item was the cheapest I've seen in months.

Dodgy fake company took money but nothing came. Beware it's a fake company set up by a Pakistani national.

I want my money back the fact you reversed my payment on the 10th of April is outrageous I will be taking legal action

Item very well priced compared to other sellers. Free delivery with 48 hour service. Option to upgrade delivery.

Ordered a new power supply to upgrade mine. Over a week later had still not arrived with no confirmation that it had been shipped. Contacted customer support and apparently it was from an external supplier and they would look into it. I checked the website and the item was since showing as out of stock, I suspect the supplier didn't have the item and my order was never shipped and smartteck somehow never noticed. Contacted customer support again and asked to change the order to a different power supply. Support person was very helpful, understood the situation clearly and switched the order for me and got the new one sent out ASAP with priority delivery. Two weeks later I had a new power supply and they refunded my delivery too. Item is fine and the customer support person was helpful and understanding although I'm disappointed that smartteck initially took my money for an item that was out of stock and never noticed until I contacted them about it over a week later.

To be honest this is one of the best, easiest and quickest on line purchase I’ve ever made. Thank you
