Great ordering process. Excellent product.

a GENEROUS 3 stars for a high quality print, however in terms of actually receiving the things we ordered, that is a one star experience. We understand that proofing can take a day or two, but for it to take over two weeks from when we submitted our order to when we received our product is absolutely insane! For context most commercial printing companies (which I have worked with over a dozen) have a turnaround time from the day you submit a file to the day they start production of about two days, meaning that there is a person who is going over your proof. They will do several revisions of your proof on the same day as submission to make sure things move quickly. Smart Press could not have been further from this. Not only did it take two or three days at a time for them to respond, but at one point they sent us back a proof that clearly had issues. Another piece of context is that proofing is there for the printer to show you what they believe is the best attempt possible at recreating what the customer wants. It is their best effort. What we received as a proof for our envelopes was not only the worst effort, there was no effort. We received a proof back from Smart Press in which the city, state, and zip code had no spaces (CityST12345) on the envelope. That shows me a deep lack of care for the customer. So that, combined with the extremely long time to receive this terrible proof has led me to give this a very, very generous three star rating. The only reason it is not one star is because the product that was shipped is actually quite excellent.

Great service and so happy with how my order turned out.

The timeline of this project went a lot longer than expected. Once the proof was approved it did not get mailed out for 13 business days. I felt there was poor communication with why there was delays and it took me reaching out to get feedback on a ship date. Unfortunately, I have been informed that a lot of the pieces were pretty damaged upon arrival to our mailing list. I would not recommend mailing this type of mailer without an envelope

Been on the market for a printer ( not the machine, for high quality art prints of my creations) and im happy to not only have gotten the SAMPLER print book, but that the book actually had an assortment of options. It was shipped in a very timely manner and recieved with no fuss. Appreciate that very much. I highly recommend giving them a looksie if your in the market for a printer just due to the speed of service. Im tired of other companies just lacking in the service side, it matters how you treat people. I'd be fine with out of stock items just be up front and professional. Im super happy with what I got because it allows me to move forward as a self-made artist and gives me confidence to order from them again. [ I got my order within a week ]

Smartpress has the best customer service I’ve experienced. Their team is responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everything turns out perfectly. On top of that, the print quality is outstanding. Colors are vibrant, details are crisp, and the final product always looks exactly how it’s supposed to. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would absolutely recommend Smartpress.

Before I even placed an order, the customer service was excellent, answering all my questions and guiding me through the process. Once I ordered our booklets, the team went the extra mile to ensure the pages were in the correct order. It was helpful to have such a quick turnaround time and delivery options. I've been involved in the print industry for over 20 years but just recently found Smartpress and ordered for the first time. The process was a great experience from start to finish! Ordering on the website was clear and simple, the price point was great, and when my customer surprised me with needing a much quicker in-hands date, the customer service team was incredibly helpful. Even though mine was a very small, first-time order, they treated me with kindness and respect, were able to help me upgrade my order to a same day print, and switch from shipping to counter pickup — with no hiccups. Not only did they switch my order to a same day print, they had it done that same morning which helped my contact to pick up in time to meet their other deadlines.

I was extremely impressed on all fronts and definitely will place more orders in the future. I'm grateful they turned what could have been stressful circumstance into one where instead I found an additional solid print partner to work with!

Quality product and amazing customer service!

I ordered a banner and stand for a conference. Smartpress kept pushing the expected delivery date and it required a lot of back-and-forth for me to get an answer on the source of the delay and whether I could expect to receive the product on time. Ultimately, the delay was due to Smartpress being out of stands and solved when I offered to buy a stand off Amazon so that the banner could be shipped on time. I didn’t mind this solution but did mind the uncertainty and that I had to hound people down to understand the problem and get to a solution. It would be good in these situations to proactively inform the customer about expected delays so they can make alternative arrangements if needed or work with you to get to a mutually acceptable outcome.

Everyone was super helpful. Color on the cards is fabulous.

I’ve had three books printed by SmartPress and each experience has been better than the one before it. Everyone at SmartPress was dedicated to making sure the process was professional, fast, and geared towards producing the best product possible. They were in touch with me every step of the way and their expertise and customer centric dedication removed any anxiety I had as a newbie to the the field of publishing. I felt like I was a part of team concerned with making sure my vision was realized and providing me with suggestions to make the final product the best it could be.
As cost is always something people worry over, I have to say that the old adage’you get what you pay for’ would have to be amended to you get ‘much more than you pay for’ with SmartPress. I have a few more books to publish and I would never consider going anywhere else. The folks at SmartPress are the best in the business as far as I’m concerned.
