Getting a normal sim is so difficult. issues are not resolved. hours of waiting times in the shops. receiving LTE even if 5G is booked. horendous coverage.
Complaints need to me send via email in a hand written attachment.

E-Sim doesnt work & no customer support
E-Sim doesnt work. Read the whole FAQ, did everything as described. Searched Reddid and other Websites, still can't find a solution but also lot of other Expats experiencing the same Problem. Most threads on Reddit are unresolved. I called the hotline and waited for half an hour, no one picks up. You cannot contact them through Email, which is not that smart. Literally out of options and can't even get in contact to get a refund. Don't buy smart E-Sim if you're from abroad!
@Smart Team: If you resolve the issue or refund my money, I will remove the review. Otherwise: Very disappointed!
Smart?...quite dumb actually!
Arrived in the Philippines and a local person suggested the SMART SIM.I purchased the SIM and installed and registered.I then purchased the 449 PESO plan from 7-eleven with 2GB daily video, unlimited texts and local calls.Thos plan was supposed to kick in after the 3-day plan that came with the SIM. This plan never loaded.SMART has no live customer support for this type of problem.After purchasing a 7 day plan from GLOBE (SMART competitor) I emailed 7-eleven. They replied 2 days later (7 days after I purchased the SMART package) and acknowledged that yhe SIM had a problem and that they fixed it.They fixed the Data issue but I was still unable to make any local calls (message kept saying that I didn't have any balance).I contacted 7-eleven again and they said that they would need 5 additional working days to resolve. By this time my daye to leave Philippines had arrived.This company is manufacturing poor quality SIMs and doesn't have any way to fix customer problems. It's a total waste of money.I would suggest using GLOBE instead.

Worse customer service for customers going to their stores very long wait over an hour still serving the same customer here at sm manila.Same experience at BGC store when I purchased a sim card.

I message their customer service and said: "I accidentally pressed the button indicating that I need additional data load, even though I already have more than 55 GB of data. I did not intend to activate this additional 1 GB, and I do not want to be charged for it. I already have sufficient non-expiry data available."
Theb the customer service is so UNHELPFUL. Didn't even bother to really help me. Just wasting my time.

Absolutely rubbish SIM for tourist. The expectation to log onto the network is ridiculous, the questions ask don't match or cater for a tourist. God know why the security is so tight considering everything else in the country is so messed up. Try something else

I came to the Philippines as a tourist and wanted to get connected easily. Two weeks ago, I bought an eSIM online from Smart PH, but it never arrived. On Saturday morning, I went to a Smart store and bought one there instead. The staff told me it would be registered within 24 hours.
The next day—after more than 24 hours—I still had no internet. I went back to the store for help, and they contacted customer service. I was told they would fix it soon. Now it’s Monday morning, and I still don’t have internet.
I came here to relax, but dealing with Smart has made me feel stressed—as if I’m at work instead of on vacation. I’m really starting to wonder if Smart PH is not meant for foreigners.
