Excellent

I’ve had the bed for nearly 2 weeks now and I couldn’t be happier. Needed an upgrade and the customer service team was very helpful in answering my questions before I placed my order. The delivery service was great as-well since I was notified a couple days before of my delivery time slot so I could make sure I was home for the delivery. Overall, my experience has been wonderful and I would absolutely recommend Sloomy to others.

Appalling Customer Service

Appalling Customer Service. Waited over 4wks, delivery date given. Waited all day, no delivery. They have no out of hours contact. Called to find out problem, was told damaged in transit. Want to re deliver on an unsuitable day, cannot do anything to change this yet originally delivery was a weekend and now it’s not! No compassion, that or nothing. I cancelled order and requested refund. They didn’t seem to care, oh ok thank you!! Don’t waste your time, go elsewhere.

Cheap for a reason

Cheap for a reason, leaking oil from the strut, headboard is so flimsy that we have bought another full height one. Delivery's turned up with one driver and had to help unload to save damaging the bed. Not a good experience never again.

Sloomy 5 Star 🌟

I found the website online and seen that Sloomy did a deal on a superking bed set with mattress.

I shopped around and found Sloomy were the best deal. I left a message to them when I purchased the items to upgrade the superking mattress and pay what the price difference would be. After a couple of days, I recieved a phone call from Sloomy and a text advising of the price and how to make the purchase of the upgraded mattress. This was very simple and straight forward and I was sent a confirmation email after the purchase confirming the changes and that the website would not reflect the change but it has been completed.

After a couple more days, I sent a query in reference to the delivery and I got a phone call back advising the items would be delivered on the weekend. 7 days after I placed my order.

On the delivery day I was given an estimated time frame and called with updates on the time frame. The estimate time frame was 0800 and 1200 and the delivery arrived around 1400. The deliveryman were very polite and placed all the items in my hallway as I requested and they were carful not to mark or damage the bed or mattress.

As for the superking Berlin Divan Bed I ordered its brilliant quality, lovely colour and easy to assemble the 2 x divan bases and headboard and bottom board. The original mattress which I chose to upgrade from the superking chelsea mattress to the superking Cashmere 2000, well what can I say, Wow what a mattress, so big, comfy, smooth and i must say my first night sleep on the bed felt amazing!

I felt like i slept alone and lost my wife as she seemed so far away from me on the superking mattress! I could not feel any movement from her during the night on my side of the bed.

So overall on purchase, communication and customer service, delivery and product im scoring 5 out of 5 and I would recommend Sloomy and their products to friends and family.

POOR SERVICE

I'm very disappointed with their bed assembly service and customer care. I was looking forward to our new bed being delivered and assembled. The two people that were sent to deliver and assemble the bed refused to take the bed to our room, as they said it was impossible to get it up the stairs, however, they made NO effort to even try. My partner ended up taking it to our bedroom and assembling the bed. There were no instructions on how to assemble the bed with it and the support team were extremely disappointing!

DO NOT ORDER FROM SLOOMY! SAVE YOUR MONEY! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SHODDY GOODS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN WORSE. UNFORTUNATELY I THOUGHT I WAS ORDERING FROM DEBENHAMS BUT THE BED WAS ACTUALLY COMING FROM SLOOMY. YESTERDAY I HAD THE 4TH, YEP 4TH EXCHANGE FOR FAULTY BED! EVERY DELIVERY THE BED HAS BEEN FAULTY. 1ST DELIVERY HEADBOARD DIDNT ATTACH TO BED, NO THREAD TO CONNECT BOARD TO BASE AND 1 DRAWER BROKEN. 2ND DELIVERY HALF A BED BASE DELIVERED ( THE WRONG HALF) SAME AGAIN ON 3RD DELIVERY PLUS NAILS PROTRUDING THROUGH BEDBASE. 4TH DELIVERY WRONG BASE SENT AGAIN PLUS DRAWERS NOT ON SAME SIDE ( LEFT AS ORDERED) 1 DRAWER ON EACH SIDE. MANAGER ADVISED ME TO FLIP BASE WHICH WOULD MEAN 4 VISIBLE HOLES IN MATERIAL OF FOOT END OF BED WHERE PREVIOUS HEADBOARD HAD BEEN PLUS HINGE TO ATTACH BOTH BASES WOULD BE AT SEPERATE ENDS SO WOULD NOT ALLOW BED BASES TO BE CONNECTED! MANAGER THOUGHT THIS WAS AN ACCEPTABLE SOLUTION TO A BRAND NEW BED. MANAGER CONTINUOUSLY SPOKE OVER ME, INTERRUPTED ME AND WAS BLATANTLY RUDE. I SAID I WOULD BE EMAILING CHAIRMAN OF DEBENHAMS TO WHICJ HE SAID ' I HEAR THAT EVERYDAY' OBVIOUSY HE HAS DAILY COMPLAINTS THEN. SAID HE HAD WORKED WITH DEBENHAMS FOR 6MONTHS AND HAS HAD TEA WITH THE CHAIRMAN... WOO HOO LOL👏 👏 👏 I MUST HAVE SENT 20 EMAILS, PLUS BEING DISABLED HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR MY BEDROOM FURNITURE TO BE MOVED IN/OUT OF ROOM ON 4 OCCASSIONS. THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE. I AM LIASING WITH DEBENHAMS AND TAKING THIS COMPANY TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT IF NECESSARY.

Top class

Ordered a bed, was told 3-7 days for dispatch which to be honest I didn’t expect to happen but I ordered on Saturday night and bed was dispatched on the Thursday. Living in the highlands I expected a delayed delivery but no - they used a courier BJS who messaged me and kept me up to date and the bed was delivered today Wednesday. So less that 2 weeks from placing order is pretty impressive for where I live especially. The bed is gorgeous and feels like great quality we are really pleased and will defo recommend and use again 👍🏻

Please avoid

Ordered two weeks ago, initially very responsive and agreed they could deliver to my postcode on Tuesday or Friday. Once spent my money it’s been poor. Firstly, can’t do Tuesday as can isn’t available, agreed to Friday. Arranged for my mum to get a taxi over to sit in as I have to work. Thursday evening told no van again, and rearranged for Saturday. Now Friday evening and haven’t heard a thing, no answer on the phone, no response to emails or texts!!

unprofessional Company

I ordered a bed for a charity company as a gift and accidently ordered the incorrect bed size and contacted Sloomy requesting to have the order cancelled, this took a long time to resolve.. Don't be fooled by the positive feedback, it seems like all the positive review are the staff that work for Sloomy, i searched Sloomy company house and one of the person leaving positive review Umar Bostan is the company director for SLOOMY ! surly trustpilot should not allow this to happen ! i did a little more digging into the registered address on Sloomy company house and found that there are multiple companies registered to the same address and one of the directors for that company have also left positive review for SLOOMY... this tells me something is not quit rite and they are hiding something...this not a good business practice, i do not even think they are manufactures the claim to be.. please avoid at SLOOMY at all cost.

A warning for anyone considering ordering from Sloomy

A warning for anyone considering ordering from this company…

Purchased a super King divan bed with four drawers on a Friday was contacted on the Monday and delivery arranged for the following Saturday. The Friday before delivery was contacted at about 9 o’clock at night to be informed that the delivery could not go ahead as scheduled the following day due to an unforeseen delay.
Was then contacted the following Monday and advised that we could book in for a new delivery slot. We chose to have it delivered as soon as possible which was the next day Tuesday. That same evening was contacted by the delivery driver who explained that he would need to deliver as early as possible because our address was “out of the way” he wanted to get our bed delivered as early as possible. He said that this meant he would need to deliver before 5:30 am!!

This seemed a bit of a joke considering we’ve just had our delivery delayed and to now be told we would need to be up at the crack of Dawn to accept the bed delivery. Arranged with him to be at the house for 5:15 am the next day. Message the day of delivery to advise we were at the house waiting for him. He then responded advising he would then be there at 6 am?! So then we had to sit around twiddling thumbs for 45 minutes as you can imagine we was not best pleased.

Delivery driver then arrived at 6 am delivered the bed as there was only one person there my partner had to essentially lift and carry the bed himself into the house. Granted, we have not paid for installation service but it felt like a bit of a dump and run situation.

Thankfully we checked the bed and all was in order. It was exactly as we’d ordered it. The only issue was there was a slight tear in the packaging which meant dirt and water had got onto one corner of the bed. Luckily it can be hidden. The quality of the bed itself overall is satisfactory, the colour is lovely and the headboard is a beautiful design. The drawers however are a bit iffy. They’re quite loose and don’t seem to want to close properly but given the price of the bed I suppose we can’t complain and don’t think it’s worth the effort.

My advice to anybody considering ordering from Sloomy just be wary that they do use a third-party delivery service/courier and they are quite frankly the most unprofessional individuals that we’ve come across. Contacting out of hours and delivering outside of the normal expected delivery times. Communication in relation to the delay of the bed delivery was non-existent. We didn’t receive an explanation or was given any reasoning as to why the bed was never delivered when it was scheduled.

Definitely wouldn’t order from this company again we’re grateful that we’ve got our bed now and that the bed itself is in order but the service and the journey that it took to actually get the bed was just such a poor service.

Only half of the divan was delivered and a mattress brought instead. What I can do with a mattress with half a divan is beyond me! When the headboard was taken into my NEW BUILD HOUSE, my wall was chipped. I felt that I couldn’t complain at the time because I’m a single woman and was on my own, in my house with two men.
Other part of the bed was delivered today (a week later) and was not assembled, despite paying for assembly initially. Company said “as a gesture of goodwill they would refund the assembly”. GOOD WILL? The service was not completed.
As of tonight, I have a bed that still cannot be built because I do not have enough feet or attachments for the headboard.
Do not waste your money. Order from a local shop.
Will never order from this company again.
