I canceled my Slideegg subscription and was never issued a refund — a frustrating experience I feel others should know about before subscribing.

Honestly, the templates weren't worth the subscription to begin with, which is why I canceled. The designs feel generic and uninspired, there is a ton of manual work you still need to put in once you download. I've gotten better-looking, more customized slides by simply using Claude — for free. Slideegg doesn't offer the quality advantage that would justify its price.

There were some issues when I canceled; the billing process completely fell apart. Despite canceling within what I understood to be the refund window, I received no confirmation, no refund, and no meaningful resolution after reaching out to support. Support claims that my cancellation did not go through, and I was charged. I notified them immediately and was met with delays and deflection for over a week by their customer service who ultimately refused to refund me.

What would make this a better service:
• A stronger, more original template library
• A clear, easy-to-find cancellation mechanism
• A courtesy reminder the day prior to billing (this is a class move by companies who truly see value in their product)
• Timely refund processing without requiring repeated follow-up

With better free alternatives available and a support team that doesn't resolve billing issues, there's little reason to pay for Slideegg.

It is the creative nature and elegance of the slides. The slides are professional and presentable.

They trick you into a free monthly trial, then don't warn you when it is about to turn into a paid subscription. Then when I contacted customer service for a refund, they said during my free trial I downloaded templates so I'm not eligible for a refund. Ridiculous.

I love SlideEgg, I can’t do my job without it. A slight improvement to be able to search Free Templates by theme so as not to sift through templates that has a cost. Times are tough so paying for some templates are not possible. But other than that a great tool!
