Bad Delivery Experience, good resolution
I recently received a delivery from Slaters and found that the box was damaged. While I appreciate that issues can occur during transit, paying £6.95 for next-day delivery sets a reasonable expectation that the parcel will at least arrive in acceptable condition. In this case, that standard was not met.
My experience with Customer Services was particularly disappointing. The call repeatedly cut out every five minutes, and I was continually redirected to the switchboard. The ladies at the switchboard were not helpful and did not appear to listen to my concerns, which made an already frustrating situation worse.
That being said, Robert from Customer Services was the exception. He handled the situation calmly and professionally, and ultimately offered a full refund, which I appreciate and made the whole experience somewhat better.

Please accept our apologies for your experience not matching our usual high standards.
If a parcel is damaged in transit, DPD are supposed to return the parcel to us, in order for us to resolve the matter before it is received by our customer.
I can see that the refund for your order has now been processed back to your original payment method, and should show in your statement within 3-5 working days.
I will also speak to our IT team to relay your concerns about our phone system to ensure this doesn't occur again in the future.

Great customer service and suit design
Had an online order slightly beyond my size, so took the two piece suit back to the office. It was taken and a new date scheduled for me to pick the new suit up. Went on the rescheduled date and a fitting one was available.

The pants were too big
The pants were too big, and the only solution they offered was to fix them. The problem is that the trip from my house to where they are takes 1 hour and 30 minutes, and their response was that nothing more could be done.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
All of our suits are sold with the waist being the standard 6" less than the chest size selected. We do not carry spare trousers to swap over the sizes, however we do offer the free alteration service within all of our stores.
Apologies as to take advantage of our free alterations service it requires a visit to the store to have the suit fitted.
Selling our suits with the standard 6" drop and offering the free alteration service, helps keep our prices competitive and saves material wastage.

Attended slaters today, needed some suits urgently for a wedding and Del Roth sorted us right out, managed to locate the suit from a different store and get it boxed off and ordered here with us as soon as possible, top service top guy and would definitely recommend him
