Non existing customer support

Well here we still are with this company defusing to communicate with customers. Still have t had my account credited for all the lost service. Even on this app you promise to adjust everything but you don’t you just keep right on charging me. I’ve had to close all my bank accounts because they won’t stop charging me. TAlk about banging your head against the wall. No customer service at all no surprise there from Delaware sleepy joes home state

Rubbish

I can't call,text or use my data for a week now,i had to travel to be able to call customer service, they put me on hold then the line kept dropping,there's no way of contacting them, i went out to the park while I was using my drone got suddenly disconnected ,i lost control over the drone, it kept drifting till i lost it,i wanted to write what happened on their discussion chatroom, i couldn't submit eventhough i was connected to my home broadband, i guess you can can only write positive stuff about them,i deeply regret signing up and strongly don't recommend.

I can’t believe I’m back here

I can’t believe I’m back here, almost a month later, but if you value your sanity and a stable internet connection then stay away from Skymobile. I NEED internet for my work, and once again I am stuck without service and in a loop of terrible customer service. “Mike” gave me zero information regarding the outage and said “this is not on Skymobiles end..” What?? I pay YOU for internet so if it’s not your problem, then whose is it? I have gotten zero responses on when the issue will be resolved, if at all, and have been told that I need to get a new SIM for the router by emailing “Naomi” who has yet to respond to my email. Not to mention billing still hasn’t contacted me to prorate the outage I experienced last month. Overall this is a parasitic company with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. 0/5 stars if possible.

Terrible customer care and product service

There has been an “outage” for over five business days. Initially, I contacted the technical support team. The support employee “Mike” emailed me a general response that Engineers were looking into the situation, and asked me to check essential APN network settings and provide a photographic imagine as support. Three days later, after not hearing from anyone, I decided to contact billing and request the subscription be canceled prior to the autopay date. I’ve submitted an official request to deauthorize the draft from my bank account; haven’t heard anything from billing. Day five, still no internet, technical support contacted me via email and stated Engineers are still addressing the issue and that my upcoming bill would reflect the outage. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first instance that customer service is extremely poor. Last incident was the company did not contact its customers to tell them that they no longer offered internet services through AT&T, but now only offered Verizon based Internet. They provided me a new router, but increased the monthly subscription price from $129.99 to $149.99. Verizon Wireless Network is much slower in my rural area. All communications are done through email; there is not an option to call or live chat with an actual person. I’ve been a customer since 2021. Extremely dissatisfied.

Horrible service

Horrible service, no customer service. We don't have a lot of choices for internet service because we are in a very rural area. After about a year and a half on the Sky mobile merry-go-round, we are getting off. For $150 a month, I expect reliable service. We have never had that with Sky mobile. It goes down and you have to email them. It takes days for them to "refresh the line." This is the 2nd year in a row our service has been completely cut off with no warning. We have been down nearly a week and waiting for them to refresh the line, when they finally admit, for the 2nd year in a row that they are suspending the blue plan. This happened last year and 2 months later they got it back. How about warning your customers instead of leaving them with no internet and continually telling them we are working to refresh the line. No way of contacting except via email. Takes forever to get a response. Stay away from this company as they are over priced and underperforming.

ok so i reviewed this 6 months ago

ok so i reviewed this 6 months ago. have traveled roughly 9k miles across country since then. i was originally on Blue plan. could not connect. was switched to red plan. with their router.finally after 2 months had internet...sort of...5mps was capable at times mostly 3mbps or less download 1mbps upload. was taught about using cellmapper and was able to change towers to once in awhile getting better results but a lot of work doing it. all across the country same story little or no service. i asked for refund of the first 2 months since i had no service was given email to contact and recieved a did not send error because there is no email address it does not work!!! and i recieved no refund. meanwhile my prepaid ATT hotspots carrying me through with sometimes 66 mbps speed unfortunately not unlimited so not the answer either. most all the companies who provide internet are basically liars!! thats the truth. nothing more nothing less it simply does not work most places. if you hug a highway or in a town at a home it will crawl but work. if you travel it is not an answer, they simply do not have the infrastucture and i believe the know how to provide unlimited internet and because of the greed of these companies makes it an impossible hope. i will be canceling and im sure i won't get anything back except empty promises but like any business i will cut my losses and i will deter anyone i know from ever using them. i had stopped at friends houses downloaded all my digital paperwork music and photos and will start my own network here in the Rv . when i get to friends houses i will update my catalogs as needed and learn to live on no internet eventually. i for one have had my fill with the empty promises of the computer industry and i will be richer for never using them again!! Reply to answer: if it was complimentary why did I pay $149 for each month I started out in February? Also I told you the email does not work I have never been able to get it to work and each time I mentioned it or asked about it I get no reply? How am I to cancel when your email doesn’t work and you have no phone?

Our services are cellular, so the speeds will vary among different areas throughout the United States! :) Since we weren't sure how well it would work in your area, we offered you a trial period associated with your Red Plan subscription. Since you didn't cancel within the trial period, you will be able to use the service until the end of your current billing cycle! :)
To cancel your subscription, you will need to email billing@skymobilellc.com and they will be able to assist you! :)

Reply: The modem (C4R400) was provided to you free of charge. Unfortunately we cannot issue you the service for free, therefore you were charged $149.99 each month. Our services have no contracts involved so you have the opportunity to cancel at anytime. Since you're having issues with the email, I will arrange for our billing department to contact you instead! You should be hearing from them shortly! :)

Ripped off and lied to by sky mobile llc

billed me for months with no service just empty promises found out they were dropped by att and thats why no service months but continued to bill tried the promised red plan with verizon it didn't work either. Cancelled but never received credits looking into filing for a class action and reporting to FCC

SkyMobile has no customer service

Really poor customer service. Dropped all AT&T customers without warning and so called customer service was not available. They came back trying to get me to switch to a higher cost plan. Got several different stories about getting dumped with no warning. For all the AT&T customers, I went to local store and got an AT&T plan for 100gigs costing $55/month using the same Netgear Nighthawk hotspot. This company is nothing more than a small-time company ripoff. Stay away from them at all costs and check all other options before using them. It took over 10 emails to get some kind of refund for service not provided. Maybe Verizon will drop them and they will go out of business.

I've had the same issue that others are…

I've had the same issue that others are reporting. Blue Plan (AT&T) stopped working 5 days ago. Most recent response I got from Skymobile LLC Support is that they've had a falling out with AT&T (My words) and that they are no longer going to offer the Blue Plan. They will migrate you to Red Plan, but that will not work for me in my area. It's unfortunate that no notification is being sent out on this situation. Like many others I relied on this service for Work From Home and now have to find an alternative solution. Note to Skymobile LLC, no need to post a canned response to this posting.

They stopped my blue plan with no warning. I emailed regular support which told me to email Naomi as she is the one who would help so we did. Heard back from someone else and she said well it looks like so and so already is helping you. Except that gentleman’s only help was to tell us to email Naomi. Well, Naomi hasn’t emailed me back. It’s been 5 days of no internet yet I paid for this plan as did my son who also has his own account. So we pay almost 300 per month with no help and no one to speak with and no warning. We are trying to get the 2 new free routers sent to us with the red plans. Yet no one is telling us what and how to do it. Just wait to hear from Naomi. Also, they said once we do get the new routers we have to then contact them back again to get our accounts adjusted. For what? What does that even mean?

Horrible!! Run away from this company!!

If I could only give them a negative rating!!! Horrible service when you need support. They only have email as a contact. There is no phone number and chat has been removed. My internet went down 3 days before they responded to my email request. Went back and forth over an entire days as they don't respond quickly. In the middle of troubleshooting the issue, the tech went home as it was 5:00. Did not tell me she was quitting, just stopped answering my questions in the middle of troubleshooting. So unprofessional and incompetent. Could not believe it. Sent email this morning cancelling their overpriced service. Don't get caught in their scam. Total waste of time and money and frustrating beyond belief!

Lack of response for Internet outage on blue plan

My Internet has gone down approximately three days ago. It was an AT&T blue plan I’ve sent emails and messages but no response as to what the reason is for the outage. They had no problem renewing it while the system was down for another monthly charge. It would be nice if someone could contact you to fix the problem

This company is pretending to sell…

This company is pretending to sell unthrottled LTE plans but like 20 gbytes into the month your rates go down to dsl speeds and they pretend like they are working on the problem.

started out great but didn’t last, deceitful

I started out great with high speed for s couple of months then it didn’t work at all. They told me it was something on AT&T’s side. It took a month to get a new SIM card. This was in September of 2021. I’ve only at .5 mbps since September. I have all the emails with support saying the engineers are working on it. I’ve taken dozens of pics of my Speedtest and proof for them that the hotspot(purchased from Skymobile) was set correctly with a custom APN. Like a fool I kept paying them on the promise they would credit me when they got it solved. 6 months later it’s still not fixed and they credited me for 1 month with a snarky reply from Ricki Steiberg their billing specialist. I have now gone onto eBay and purchased another plan or less money that is running at 70 Mbps with no issues. Sky mobile is a third-party vendor that is being fully throttled by AT&T. I gave them every opportunity to make this right and I was very respectful With my correspondence. They on the other hand were disrespectful And deceitful. They say they don’t have contracts and I could cancel at any time. Does that mean I should have cancelled at the first sign of trouble instead of working with their tech team for a resolution? Notice their response doesn’t deny the Fact that my service was down for 6 months and they still couldn’t fix it and are not interested in making it right. Use their service at your own risk.

Rest assured, you were credited for any outages that may have occurred prior to this instance! :)

Our services have no contracts tied to them so you were able to cancel at any point during your membership with us! :) Your billing was adjusted to compensate for any issues that may have occurred during your membership. Unfortunately a request of 6 months worth of service charges ($129/month) will not be given when you're able to cancel at any point. However, a one month refund was given as a courtesy! :)

My experience with SkyMobile has been…

My experience with SkyMobile has been frustrating. We received our box and had 4 days of GREAT service. When we hit 30gb of data, our service went away. When SkyMobile tech support was emailed, they were very polite. After 5 days of requesting updates and no internet, I asked to cancel my service. SkyMobile made NO attempt to return us to service. They were very prompt in sending us a label to return our device. Ugh.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. No phone number, they respond sporadically in the middle of the night via email with surface level emails that won’t answer your questions.

Our internet has been out completely for two months and they have charged us for both months. After asking for an actual refund, no one will respond.

UPDATE:
They responded to this review, but never emailed me. They also reference “adjusting my bill” after specifically asking them to cancel and refund our money. Will have another review coming soon.

RESPONSE:

I’ve emailed you 5-6 times to those email addresses below. You guys continue to lie. These are the same email addresses that have been responding to me previously. Now that I want a refund after no service for

Had the red plan for several months

Had the red plan for several months. Signal is good but speed is all over the place, and too many dropouts. Support told me to move router near window. Did that, and same. Cancelling, not worth it. Going with Starlink.

Early morning text messages and slow data speeds

Saturday, 2/19/22 at 12:21am, I received a text message letting me know Skymobile had trouble processing my payment. Woke me out of a sound sleep. Later Saturday morning, I entered new payment information.

Sunday, 2/20/22 at 12:21am, I received a second text message letting me know Skymobile had trouble processing my payment. Again, woke me out of a sound sleep. Later Sunday morning, I entered a third payment information.

Monday, 2/21/22 at 12:21am, I received a third text message letting me know Skymobile had trouble processing my payment, again waking me out of a sound sleep.

After sending an email inquiring about the payment trouble, I got a reply back stating payment was posted to my account on 2/20.

Yesterday, I got a notice on my ATT modem that my data limit of 10GB was reached and my data speeds were throttled down to 512kbs.

I sent an email to Skymobile's support email address at 12:06pm inquiring about the slower speeds.

I received an email back at 1:21pm a support ticket was opened about the slower speeds and they would contact me after hearing back from their engineers.

The data speed this morning is still around 512kbs

02/23/2022 @ 13:31 - no response yet and no change in speed.

02/25/2022 @ 05:53 - no change in speed. Last email response was that engineers are still working with AT&T on the issue on 2/23/2022 @ 16:08. Wonder if there are that many problems with other user's download/upload speeds?

02/25/2022 @ 11:19 - response from Skymobile support there is still no update from their engineers on this issue and they will notify me when there is an update.

03/01/2022 @ 22:55 - still no response from Skymobile support.

03/03/2022 @ 22:26 - still no response from SKY mobile support. Sent an email to Skymobile's support email requesting a refund and to cancel my account.

Extremely slow speeds

Extremely slow speeds. Decent for basic browsing but definitely no good for any videos (including youtube). Streaming is out of the question entirely. I have been in contact with their support team via the email they provided me months ago and there are no solutions. The service is just slow (maybe 1mb/s on a good day). Service isn't worth more than $20 a month.
