I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Sky Mobile.
I am extremely disappointed that £23 has been taken from my account over the past 10 months for a SIM-only contract without any prior renewal notification. This lack of communication is unacceptable and feels misleading. To make matters worse, other network providers offer similar contracts and data for around £9, which makes this even more frustrating.
In addition, the customer service I received has been the worst I have experienced in the UK—unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to deal with.
The network service itself has also been very poor. I often have to switch my phone on and off every 15 minutes just to regain signal. This has caused me to miss important calls and, at times, I have been unable to make calls altogether. The signal is weak, frequently interrupted, and calls are regularly disconnected—even when trying to speak with Sky customer service.
If it were possible, I would give a negative rating (minus 100 stars). Overall, this has been an extremely poor experience with both the service and customer support.

After 15 years of being with Sky as a “platinum vip customer” I’m terminating all my services.
Shocking
I recently rang sky on the 26th of march is my iPhone 15 wasn't working properly due to the age verification update and I wanted to swap now they wanted money up front so I was passed a person to person eight people at all together 2 hours on the phone so I spoke to someone from the broadband department who give me the wrong information telling me you could do part trade and part cash so I sold my iPhone got them on there put it in my bank phoned them on same day to pay the remaining balance so the agent in the end gave me the wrong information I raised a complaint and have been waiting over 2 weeks to hear something back after numerous phone calls telling me someone was going to call me back I didn't receive any and now the agent has told me that the wrong information was sent to the wrong department and this is made me extremely anxious and I have had two seizures but I suffer with frontal and temporal lobe epilepsy and now trying to ring them from time to time again I get the same thing told I get passed around more times than bonnie blue
Terrible service
Terrible service, I ordered a laptop that came with a sim. I changed my mind within the return period window. I did not open the package I returned it. I have been receiving letters, emails that I have an account with them and that I owe them. I sent them proof of postage. When I call them to resolve the issue, I always talk to someone different and they don’t seem to be resolving the issue, poor communication amongst their staff, I wouldn’t recommend using this service.

1 star because I can't give a zero star review. VERY long story short. I ordered online, the price was good and it was quick and easy. After changing the delivery with DPD online to today instead of yesterday, due to not being in, I received an email from sky this morning to say, there's been a problem with delivery, your parcel has been returned to Sky. SO, I called them and they said that I cancelled my delivery or rejected the delivery which has cancelled the agreement. Having done neither of these, I thought it'd be as simple as them just sending the phone back to me. this isn't the case because the WHOLE agreement had been cancelled! The only option for me (after also speaking with a manager) was for me to re order, meaning another credit search. I had no choice but to do this as, I needed the phone by tomorrow with my old contract having been cancelled. I'm already nearly an hour in to my work day at this point and, when it came to taking the upfront cost (again, I might add) she said there was a problem and needed to place me on hold. Bare in mind she said the credit check had gone through and so, it was just the initial payment. She then blindly transferred me to someone else who I had to explain EVERYTHING to again, she then placed me on hold again, blind transferring me to someone else. This was the 4th person I'd spoken to. Having explained myself for the 4th time, he then said I had done something wrong when signing the contract that's why it was cancelled however, you cannot send out a phone until the contract has been signed correctly so, I know this is not the case. At this point, this gent has kept me on hold that long, the line cut off, either that or, he couldn't be bothered to help me! I then had to call back AGAIN and explain my ordeal to a 5th person. This lady was actually really nice, she first put in a complaint for me then proceeded to re order the phone. At this point, there's now fraudulent activity showing on my sky account which has blocked me from ordering anything... At a complete loss, I have had to go back to my original provider who are also terrible for customer service but, better the devil you know I suppose! Moral of the story, no one give a flying one about customer service anymore, they have you over a barrel because we need mobile phones these days, they're a necessity. I knew there was a reason I'd cancelled my sky broadband and TV years ago...
Unlawful and Unfair - DO NOT TAKE OUT A SKY MOBILE CONTRACT
No service for the duration of my contract, unable to use my mobile, charged for the service and charged for terminating a contract I could not even use. Terrible customer service, ignore messages and do not resolve. Cases can be escalated to communications ombudsman.

They are telling lies that the return packing has been sent but clearly I’ve not received anything, then blaming Royal Mail they are not delivering it.
I will now go and seek professional help as I’m still paying for this phone that is not working.
Abysmal customer service
I wanted to change my plan, which it says you can do any time. I tried doing this through the Sky app. I was logged in to my account, browsed the deals and selected my product. As part of the process I was asked for a PAC code. I got one via text and when I tried to enter it said it was invalid.
1. If I'm just changing my plan why do I need a PAC code?
2. Why did you provide me with an incorrect PAC code?
OR
3. Why don't you recognise your own PAC codes?
Sky customer service, whether online, via the app or by phone is utterly useless. They did get a little better a few years ago but now they are worse than ever. Truly awful. Avoid.
Customer service on Sky Mobile is abysmal
Customer service on Sky Mobile is abysmal. They are not well informed and are not at all like customer service on Sky TV/Broadband. I had a contract for £5 a month and they charged calls etc on top of that. Now they want to charge £6.50 again with calls on top. What a cheek. I basically asked 'what contract'. I am therefore abandoning Sky Mobile.
Second rate service with very little customer service
I’ve had sky mobile for a number of years and have constant issues with signal problems. Many times it completely drops out and in some areas the 5g just hangs with no connection. The amount of data you get is also very little for your money, you can get so much more from other providers for a lot less money. They have a data roll over so if you don’t use it all it goes into a piggy bank to use if you get low in the future. This was a good thing until they deleted most of your saved data when they changed the length that it was available to only a year with very little warning meaning many people with lots all the data that they had saved had most of it taken away. I’m a platinum VIP customer with sky and spotted an offer for VIP customers which was much better that the deal that I had but when I called them to update my contract with the offer they told me it was just for a new SIM card and not my current number. The VIP offer was very misleading and they should not be allowed to advertise it as a VIP deal if it’s not available on your current sim, nobody wants to change their sim and phone number every year just to get a cheaper package. The call centre are mostly from India and communication can be difficult and many times they have hung up the call on you half way through your conversation then you have to call back and go through the whole process again with another agent each time getting more and more frustrating. I am now changing to another provider because I have had enough of the second rate service that they provide. In my opinion look elsewhere and save yourself the hassle and money.

Stupid do not use sky there are useless there customer service is wack they are idiots and the idiots they have that answer the phones are little rude 🐀s they are buttoning the phone on me 3 times while i sit on hold 20 minutes each time

“The worst company ever to deal with, Claimed they tried to contact me on several occassions — but I never received a single call”
Sky has been the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. It took them eight weeks just to acknowledge my bankruptcy and zero the account — nearly six years after the bankruptcy originally happened. Even after finally accepting it, they still refuse to correct the default date on my credit file that they added 3 years later after my bankruptcy.
What makes it even more frustrating is the communication. I received emails saying they had “tried to contact me,” yet I never had a single missed call, voicemail, or message from them. Not once. No letters either. For years, nothing — and then suddenly a default appears long after the bankruptcy should have cleared everything.
They now claim they “weren’t told” about the bankruptcy, even though every other creditor received the same information and updated their records correctly. I’ve explained it over phone calls, emails, and messages, sent them my official bankruptcy paper work but it feels like they don’t understand what I’m saying or how credit reporting even works.
The lack of communication, understanding, and accountability has caused unnecessary damage to my credit. Truly the most frustrating company I’ve ever dealt with.

The worst company I have ever dealt with.
No customer service at all, you can't complain to anyone in authority.
The call centre staff are thieves and liars.
They openly admit that they allow scammers to access your account.
I recently returned a new mobile phone which was incorrectly sent to me ,incorrect model, colour etc.
4 months later I am still being charged for this phone.
I phoned them yesterday 30/12/25 to explain AGAIN, resent the royal mail proof of postage photograph, only to be told that the scamming member of staff had sent me a QR code which had the phone delivered to a house in Lancashire.
I have now cancelled my direct debit with them, I will repay anything I owe , but only when they sort themselves out.
I hope they send me to court.

Shocking customer service
Only giving 1 star as I cannot go lower. The customer service from Sky is absolutely the worst I’ve ever experienced. After initially calling them this morning to order a new phone (already a customer with them) - 2 hours and 5 people later, I now want to cancel my existing contract as soon as possible. Avoid!!
