Requested for a cash out and they went to the pathetic length to avoid paying the cash out by saying that I have multiple accounts so they closed my account and forfeited all my money and the withdrawal will be cancelled. After emailing them a few times, they insisted that they were correct and I’m wrong and they eventually stopped replying to my emails to them. Waste of money and such a scam. Avoid this game

A minor child was allowed to blow twelve thousand dollars off my debit cards on there gaming sight. When I contacted them they won't even call just email. Saying to bad the info matches my own info. address birthday and name. Cards were already saved. I was willing to work with them even but can't even pick up the phone to call me 4 something over $12,000 which was spent illegally play A Minor on their website really what the f***

They refuse to refund after too many game crashes. Why should the player pay for faulty apps? You already only win 40/60 of your bet. They are greedy and making enough money. Yes the matching is not right either.

Company is a scum and speak of integrity. I hope they company goes bankrupt sooner cause all I experienced is cheating. From stupid calculation to fake matching up with same level skills. To you the developer don’t wonder y you your life is problematic from family backstabbing to families cheating to dead of close ones!

They have pathetic customer service. They basically ignore you, or answer with some generic copy and paste message. They are definitely scammers and don’t care about you. Also, even though they are using some generic copy and paste message and then adding their name to it, they still don’t read your question. Because of this you may receive a message that has absolutely nothing to do with the question you asked. When you attempt to clarify yourself they are likely to have a different representative send the exact same copy and paste message with their name on it, or some other copy and paste message that has nothing to do with what you’re asking. When you point this out the next person may go back to the first message. It is honestly annoying.

I started playing free cell on Skillz and then when Covid hit I tried a game called “Mini Golf King”. I was OK at the game and turned 5 dollars deposit with 10 dollars bonus cash added on into about 2800, and I had withdrawn 600 and claimed some gifts with credits such as a yoga mat, sweaters, shirts, etc. At the end of playing this game I could play about 30 6 dollar entry games and only 1 would find an opponent before 1 week, when the matches are canceled. This is annoying because I was playing my absolute best I had ever played when this happened. That’s one downside for sure. You get challenged for a very long time and when you step up and do your best, you don’t even get an opponent.

The next game I played was “Big Hearts” where I lost money until my 2800 was now between 1800 and 1900, and then I turned it around and brought my account back up to 3200. I also redeemed several gifts with tokens, and because I only profited small it seems like I was worse at this game but that is not the case. I did worry when people started quitting, and started to focus on 3 dollar entry games (which did not award time bonuses) because I was worried about my opponents hiding out in this entry level because speed was likely my greatest advantage in this game. I sacrificed lots of earnings by focusing on becoming the best at the entry where time means nothing, but competition still dwindled and I started looking for a new game.

Sure enough that day came when a new game is was released which had solid graphics and seemed like it would catch on and become a very popular game on the platform. I closely watched the game and when a pro league opened up I immediately quit playing “Big Hearts” and started practicing. Almost instantly, well instantly, I was making money and actually enjoyed the game. The account grew in a very short time even though the game was new and I was playing mostly .60 entries with only a few games in the higher stakes. Skillz promoting this game a little too, and the bonuses in the pro league got a big boost to draw more players. Right when Skillz did this they blocked me from playing. It was quite annoying. They said they were doing an in depth review of my account. This has went in for about two weeks now, and I am not aloud any matchups. When I first began playing they reviewed my account and I did not have to stop playing during the review. Also I have had to play games while broadcasting my screen to them and broadcasting me playing at the same time, while a Skillz representative watches. They did block me from getting matchups before I completed this process for “Big Hearts” for a few days, but I had missed the first scheduled appointment (my internet was down and it was during Covid lockdown) so it was slightly understandable. Even though it was slightly understandable, they completely denied it was happening. I contacted every single department and they all sent me a copy and paste message about how Skillz matchup system works and sent me a link to a website that explains it more. I don’t know if I should call that abuse, or what. So then miraculously when I met with the Skillz team member Riley for the online meeting where I would play games while broadcasting, the matchups suddenly worked. I was messaging saying I’m used to being matched up 100 minimum each day, and now nothing, but every single department ensured me that nothing was wrong and sent me the link with the copy and paste message.

Just curious. If it's against the rules to have more than one account then why allow people to open extra accounts and also play with them. Reading lots of reviews it seems like they allow this to go on and then use it against the people when they win any decent amount of money to close the account. I mean, if skillz is so on top of things, as they appear to be when cashing out, then why not close accounts when people are losing too. Just curious. Hate to see humans taking advantage of humans. Some humans aren't human, though they walk like we do, they live and they breath, just to turn your screw.
Just give people their hard earned money back and stop making up reasons and excuses about the silly fine print. If I've opened an extra account and it is against policy then why not shut it down immediately?. I'm sure you are making plenty the right way. Ps- I do currently play and haven't had any bad experiences but hate to see people have their $ withheld when it should have been nipped in the bud long before the point of attempted cash out.

It's a scam. Some of their apps have also been discontinued and it's impossible to get your account/funds.

I had some strange transactions on my card and I've never played on that moment , I had to phone my own bank to stop the transaction. Now I have a message from them I'm the one who violate their term and conditions. This is the message from them .

I’ve recently had my account banned after attempting to withdraw $100 of winnings. My husband and I both play Skillz games and have won money and items in the past. For the first time, I used his promo code for the extra bonus money. After multiple emails where I explained the situation, one of their representatives sent me this explanation “It looks like we found that you had created multiple accounts which is against our Terms of Service.” So not only did they forfeit my $100 but my account has been banned. Beware if you and someone in your household excel at skill based games.

Horrible experience. They keep giving me the run around on my withdrawal. Telling me it’s been sent for 2 months and still has not arrived. Will never do business with them again.

Stay away from this ALL skillz apps. They scam you and steal your money by closing your account when you win. They have every excuse in the book as to why you have violated their terms and how you are abusing their policies.

I cashed out on Nov. 3rd and they still haven't paid me. I contacted customer support and was told there was a delay on their part but I would be paid in a week. I am still waiting. I would not recommend this site.

SCAM, on my PayPal account saying refund for what I put in...thing is its like half of what I put in tried a few games and lost seen what's about and tried to take the rest of the money out...so no earnings from them,but they did charge me for taking the money out so after you are basically robbed with their games or 3rd party...whatever they do want to take more on top of it AVOID!!! Better chances on real online casinos than this don't waste your money and time!

Do not use!!! I had used for quite some time prior to playing for money and became very good at ot. I decided to try gor money as my odds of winning were excellent. As soon as i did the game lagged, did not recognise my swipes and became a much more difficult game to.play. It seems they make it purposely impossible for you to win money. I think it is a big scam.

I really enjoy the platform. The games are fun and there are no ads. I like the variety of games.

But do be aware, in order to win money, you have to become one of the better players, and to do that, you have to practice a lot.

I practice a lot, but I still eventually lose all my money.

There are consolation prizes that you can get if you play enough, but only a few people seem to make money, which actually makes sense. They are the best players. But I’m not one of them, unfortunately.

So don’t get your hopes up. But you could look at it as you are paying for entertainment. Also, you can play for free.

I wish they could figure out a way for those who aren’t at the top of the leaderboard to play sometimes where they have better chances of winning something or getting something of value. It’s a difficult problem to solve. I don’t know how they could do it. Maybe allow to play family and friends once in a while instead of competing with the whole world.

Maybe they could also help players who don’t win very often get back value by allowing us a choice to click on ads to get back money.

Added remark 1/3/2021

You can win money if you do tournaments and keep practicing and try to figure out strategies to become better. Also try different games. I’ve improved my abilities on two new games and am constantly improving. I’m finally up $55. I can see how putting work into it, you could eventually start winning.

My withdrawal check has NEVER ARRIVED. I've been waiting to receive my check as of 08/19/2021. They are a complete scam and a joke...
