Ignored after product quality complaint — ticket 462082:438505
I contacted Skechers Customer Care about a pair of Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins / Cozy Fit that appear to have a serious fabric/material quality fault.
The shoes were purchased from Sports Direct Preston on 3 March 2026 for £64.99. After only around three months of normal use, the quilted fabric became badly and permanently stained after being caught in normal rain. The shoes are marketed as machine washable, so I followed the washing guidance, but the staining would not come out.
I contacted Skechers directly because I believe this is a product quality issue with the fabric. I sent proof of purchase, photographs of the shoes, photographs of the labels and full details of the problem.
Skechers replied with an automated message saying they aimed to respond within 5 working days. My customer care ticket number is 462082:438505.
I chased them after they failed to respond, and chased again after 11 days. I still have not had a proper reply or resolution.
Very poor customer service from a well-known brand. I expected better, especially when the product appears to have failed after only three months and Skechers have been given full evidence.
I would be cautious buying this type of fabric Skechers shoe if you expect them to cope with normal rain or washing.

6 months later and still waiting for my replacement shoes to arrive. The distributor PICKLEBALL SHOP have been the middle man but even they are not getting tracking from the supplier- love the shoes but delaminated after 1 month of playing - where oh where are my shoes ???

First they promised me one thing at the cashier and I was going to pay, then the manager came and withdrew the agreement and said the cashier was new so he didnt know … why place an non experienced employee in at the frontdesk in the first place..??!
Both my shoes got the same problem after a year where the back of the shoe got loose and I asked if this was common, he answered he didnt know.. when I asked once again I got the reply that I should email the factory about it.. but I didnt recieve any email adress or other contactdetails…
Will never go there again!! Close the shop!!!

Over 3 week wait for refund
I ordered 4 pairs that arrived by UPS beautifully packaged. They did take longer than I expected, I had no idea they were coming from Belgium.
I sent one pair back had and had the UPS tracker, they arrived back at Skechers 3 days later. I had no receipt and no refund for 3 weeks!! I had given up hope and was about to open a case with PayPal when the £95 refund suddenly arrived. Customer care do not respond, I sent them 3 emails an automated response said back in 5 days but heard nothing. It’s a lot of outstanding money to waiting for.
Not ordering again it’s a lottery which is a shame as it’s a good product.

Same as everyone here: love the shoes but delivery with fedex is ridiculous and you can't reach anyone. If you can buy in a shop, I will try another website. I mean it is telling that there are no responses on here. Who can afford this type of behaviour nowadays?

I bought some arch fit slip ins in the Colchester store. I am so happy with them and especially the service given in store. Sally the manager explained that I would need a size smaller due to them being slip ins. Also as I wanted waterproof shoes, she suggested using a spray. Sally explained what temperature to wash the shoes then to respray to keep them waterproof. Overall my experience was lovely, I was given a loyalty card which I will use on my next visit when I buy six purchases I will get 50% off. I would recommend this store for it's welcoming service.

Tried to order as new customer and was sent a code for 20% off. Code didn’t work. Spent over an hour going round in circles, repeatedly filling in name, address, email, card details. Positively the WORST web site I have ever come across. Gave up and ordered another brand elsewhere painlessly. Do Skechers really want your business?

We visited yesterday your shop in London near Oxford Circus and we been served by Ryan and Farhaan, polite very very helpful and very competent in their job.. They assisted us in our purchases. Excellent.

I wish I'd come here first! Shocking delivery service, no contact either from Skechers or UPS to inform me if and when dispatched. Estimated delivery once I found out has already been knocked back a day so who knows when I will receive my order! It has actually soured my opinion of the brand, I have numerous pairs of Skechers but this is my first experience of buying direct and probably my last!
Clunky out of date returns system
Shoes are amazing, returns and customer service are so out of date. I have no option to print a label, how about giving us a QR code to scan! Still waiting for the email 24 hours later.

Very poor customer service. UPS delivered order to a locker with an invalid tracking number and no qr code. Sketchers customer service no response to email and unable to contact by phone. Parcel sent back to them by UPS. Would not recommend Sketchers

Skechers reputation ruined by UPS
This is the fifth order in a row which has been an unmitigated disaster. Not the product but UPS who are Skechers courier of choice. UPS used to be a smart, timely courier service but for the past eighteen months have turned into the worst delivery service of all the companies in the UK. They are scruffy, lazy, indolent and when you complain almost say they don’t give a dam. They deliver when they want to, or not, and instead of leaving a card, may or may not send an email stating you were not available, so they are sending the parcel back. FIVE times this has happened in the past eighteen months, and we are a small family professional practice who have our deliveries personal or not sent to our office which is open from 0930 to 1800 five days a week. Evri, DPD, Royal Mail, DHL all manage to deliver to us frequently BUT NOT UPS who can’t even deliver to their nominated collection points, tried that and are still waiting. This time not even a tracking reference, let alone a delivery notification. They need to be not used by anyone at all least of all Skechers whose reputation they are ruining!
