Sketchers purchased in Tenerife after very little use they developed a wear hole inside the back of the shoe. Despite being only less than 12 weeks wear I contacted Sketchers. They requested a photo of the shoes the sole the box the bar code the reference number and a copy of the receipt. I had proof of purchase receipt in my banking app which I also provided as i could not locate the receipt but proof of the money going from my account to the shop which sold the Sketchers. Sketchers said without the receipt they could not do anything I paid 95 pounds for them and they refused to do anything. This is the first time I have purchased Sketcbers and it's definitely the last. Avoid at all costs. Would definitely not recommend.

I ordered Sketchers sandals on line, I've always found the make good for my poor crooked feet. Delivery was by UPS, absolutely hopeless - arrived the day after it was scheduled and it took two emails, two misleading collection dates and three phone calls to get the returns picked up, Sketchers don't have a phone contact or online chat and they quote a 10 day response time frame and of course that time eats in to the return window and they have my money. Absolutely shocking.

Went to the Skechers website.

It instantly promises 20% off if i enter email address. Then it wants my mobile number.

I do both

Then enter the code supplied at checkout.

The website refuses to give the promised 20% discount.

The indignant Adam on online chat then tried to gaslight me by showing a picture of text saying the 20% is only on selected items. This was 100% not displayed.

The words "20% on your next purchase" are 100% ambiguous and are deliberately misleading. And also a false basis for gathering my marketing data.

A complaint will be raised with both ICO and ASA shortly

Don’t ever buy on line. Far too difficult to return & a printer is required. Never again!

Shoes were great, WHEN they eventually arrived!
Couriers took ages to deliver but the main thing is that SKECHERS are uncontactable.
Once you get through on the phone an automated voice tells you they not taking calls. Er….pardon me??
I had to google their email address and when I emailed them the automated response said they would be in touch in 10 Days - yes, that’s correct, 10 DAYS!
I initiated a chargeback through my credit card company, which I will now withdraw but, SKECHERS, are you actually running a business?
I don’t think so.
I was hoping and praying that the shoes fitted and just as well they did, because, there is no paperwork in the parcel to initiate a return - yes, seriously.
When I picked up the parcel they told me the courier had been difficult and they had had ‘problems.’
It is obvious that SKECHERS themselves have BIG problems.
Since their shoes are available at plenty of other reputable retailers, that is where I will be taking my future business.
I honestly do not recommend that anyone buys directly from them.
They just want to take your money. Cutting off your phone lines and giving customers no point of contact is deplorable.

I initially went to a store, where they did not have the size colour I needed across 4 different types of shoe. I did decide what I wanted, so thought I would order on line.

This was dispatched through UPS. They tried to deliver but require a signature (this wasn't stated in the booking info) and I was at work. They left a card, which stated if I signed it and left it visible they would leave the parcel, which I did. They came again, and again would not leave the parcel. So I requested it be left at a drop box, which I received confirmation for. UPS tried to deliver again in spite of the drop box confirmation, would not leave the parcel and sent back to sketchers. There was no way of contact UPS apart from through their website and I followed all their requests. Seems like the drivers deliberately don't leave things so they get extra fees.

I have contacted Sketchers, again you can't phone them, so through an automated email. I have no response, no shoes and they've also taken my money. I am very unhappy with the whole experience and it is my first time with this company. I want my shoes or my money back!

Terrible don't respond to emails return label won't load been a nightmare

I bought these Skechers shoes from Meadowhall, Sheffield about 6 months ago for around £110. I expected much better quality for this price. After only a few months of normal use, the shoes have worn out badly, and the back upper part has even torn. This is very disappointing for a premium-priced pair of shoes. I expected them to last much longer. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can’t recommend

Poor quality.
I've owned a few pairs of Skechers and all fail prematurely. They are just poor quality, especially for the price. Stitching comes loose, sole splits and detaches.
Its a real shame as I love the comfy fit and lightweight, but won't be buying any more. I expect a £100 pair of trainers to last more than 6 months

I purchased a pair of Skechers Golf Shoes from my local Golf Pro shop in August 2024. I needed a pair of waterproof golf shoes and after trying several manufacturers, I decided to choose a pair of black Skechers Golf Shoes with soft spikes which cost £120.

I only wore them in winter 2024 and 2025 as this was the wet season which is for approximately a total of 6 to 7 months as they had soft spike, were black and waterproof.

It was at the end of winter of 2025 after putting them away and suddenly the beginning of the year started with a wet spell but I noticed in that the shoes were leaking. I decided to contact Skechers and accidentally contacted Skechers USA who told me not to be concerned as they offer 2 years return to manufacturer for inspection. I contacted the reseller who sold me the shoes who in turn sent them back to Skechers in the UK only to be told that the manufactures warrantee was only 12 months and that they weren’t prepared to look at the shoes.

Very disappointed with their stance as the shoes hadn’t even been worn for 12 months, considering that I only play golf once or maybe twice a week which means that the 1 year’s warrantee doesn’t even mean a full year of wear

I have to say that I wouldn’t recommend Skechers Golf shoes as they’re not really man enough for the sport. Choose another manufacturer who offer at least 2 years manufacturers warrantee

I am a 76 year old woman who bought a pair of Skechers in North West London.
I wore them once, and bear in mind that I did not go climbing or to the gym, am 76!! and the rubber on the right heel started pealing off.
I returned to the shop immediately and they refused to exchange them.
I then wrote to customer services, who required me to send phots of both shoes in every which way plus send copies of label and receipt, possibly to make me desist.
They refused again.
I would not buy from them again, it is very poor service.
Where I grew up, the customer is always right, but it seems that is not the case from Skechers.

What a wonderful service I received from Skechers . Sorted my issue out in 5 days . Would not purchase trainers from anywhere else after this great service 5 stars

Skechers make comfy shoes for the elderly. Comfort over style for sure. Returns not the easiest to navigate. Took a pair back to my local shop which didn't fit as expected, but they refused to take them back or exchange as they had been ordered online. I worked out how to print out a returns label and took it to my local post office only to be told they don't do the returns. Eventually tracked down somewhere locally that does accept UPS returns. All a bit of hassle.

Went to sketchers at Springfield outlet at Spalding, service was absolutely brilliant

Bought a pair of shoes from them with leather/synthetic uppers. SN65875 They lasted 1 week. The uppers cracked and peeled away from both the shoes. I couldn't believe it. I paid £75 for them too. Made in China on the inner label. As I kept them for a year before I decided to start wearing them I've no hope of a refund. Their shoes are no longer all leather uppers now. I checked. Looks like I shall return to the Sebago brand. They do have all real leather uppers and they last.

We visited the Coventry branch and Lynsey the sales lady went above and beyond to help my elderly dad get fitted for some sandals as he is struggling with mobility. She was patient kind and even wrote his size down for him for next time we visit. We will be back for winter shoes for sure.
Highly recommend elderly people too can go and feel heard and cared for. Thank you Lynsey.

Poor product quality and unhelpful customer service

I bought a pair of Skechers sandals from the Bristol store towards the end of July 2025. I stored them away over winter and brought them back out to wear at the end of May 2026. Two days into a holiday, while walking, a metal clasp on the strap snapped, rendering the sandal completely unusable.

I attempted to resolve this in store, but I was met with a total lack of support; there was no offer of a refund, exchange, or repair. I was directed to their customer service team, who have been equally unhelpful. Despite providing clear photographic evidence of the defect, which shows the soles are barely worn, they refuse to acknowledge this as a manufacturing issue, offering only a discount on a future purchase.

It is unacceptable that a brand of this reputation does not stand by the quality of its footwear. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, yet these sandals failed after only two months of actual use. I am now escalating this matter to Trading Standards, as it is not right that Skechers is allowed to sell faulty goods and evade their legal responsibilities to their customers. I will not be shopping with them again.

Skechers golf shoes not fit for purpose - avoid them. Laces eroded and broke within 3 weeks and heel arch started to fall apart two weeks later. Shoes returned for refund, but they argued I should have asked first before returning, so only partial refund.

I have had the Skechers slip-ons for less than 6 months and they are already in a horrendous condition where I slip my foot on. Definitely not worth the price
