Got a eSIM for turkey
Got a eSIM for turkey. My first eSIM as I’ve a special needs disabled son. Hotel had WiFi and I needed backup if it was down or slow. Used it away from hotel and transfers. Was a godsend never capped me while tethering his iPad from my fone. He streams YouTube and it was seamless. Easy to install and set up. Fantastic support from purchase to use. Thanks and will definitely use again.

My first time using an eSIM of this sort. I purchased a global one covering majority of East Asia and Oceania - as I was travelling to Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore I was pleasantly impressed with the installation and activation! It was quick and easy to get up and running. I would have loved to have a means of checking in the app , how much GB remained on the eSIM following usage; that would be a great heads-up should one run out of data unexpectedly.

My experience was good. However.... I could not text or email. Only my browser was functional. My wife had full functionality on her Iphone. I use an Android based phone.

I never was able to get voice calls to…
I never was able to get voice calls to work after a couple hours with customer support I ran out of time for an important call so paid the daily rate to my cell provider. Not all my iMessages on my phone or my wife’s phone we are coming through. I couldn’t get verification codes for one site. Very dissatisfied time.

Unfortunately, from our side we’re not able to see exactly why the calls were not working in this case. Please remember that when making international calls, you need to dial the number using the country code in front of the phone number (for example +1, +44, etc.), otherwise the call may not connect.
Regarding verification codes, in some situations these messages depend on the policies or restrictions set by the website or service sending the code, and not only on the mobile network itself.
