Ease of access to my unit. My padlock has been lovingly stored inside for my convenience. Customer service experience has been informative and concise in their delivery. The online booking and in-store confirmation has been excellent and appreciated.
Kudos to Caroline!, who made the experience very friendly, interesting and customer focused.

I had no knowledge that shugard changed his access method to app. Shugard is populating so much info from Customers then force us, if we want to use their storage, to also invade our phones. I despite it. It was probably in fine prints when I signed up online which doesnt shake off the feeling of being lied to. It should have been stated clearly. I was already there with my stuff and made a reservation so it wa hard to find an alternative. However, Shugard/the agents told me it was for my security...Therefore it shall really be; And Shugard better not to get hacked...

Very effective and quick

They're ok. I've had a storage locker with them for the past few years, while I've been living in a one bedroom flat. The introductory deal was good — and the facility is mostly alright (my locker is fine) — but they have been hiking up prices fairly significantly year on year and I'll be leaving soon as I can no longer afford it. What makes the price increases a little harder to take was that (1) they were broken into, and a number of people's belongings were stolen — they didn't notify anyone and people only found out because of a local facebook group; (2) the place is often quite messy and dirty in communal areas; (3) the lifts have broken on multiple occasions and once I was trapped in the building and forced to open an alarmed fire door as there was no one around.

Very efficient organising the unit. The warehouse is clean and seems secure, although I didn’t see many cameras. Tech for unlocking gates and lifts with mobile phone is clever and gives some reassurance.

Went on a Saturday to Greenwich unit to book a storage space on around 12 noon (the unit is supposed to be opened until 4pm) and no one was there. There is this paper stick to the door. I called this number, no one was answering, then I was getting voice mails. After about 10-15 minutes a lady answered, telling me "I'm not there now, what would you like to do?" I told them I want to book a room and she told me that I needed to wait 15 minutes so she can come. Another customer that was waiting with me left because they didn't have time to wait them of course. Terrible service, completely waste of my time and money (to commute by public transport). DO NOT GO.

Great customer service and good price overall for what they offer. The app is extremely good and super safe system. Highly recommended!

They have overcharged me and are refusing to send a a payments history and still haven't returned the overpayment. Avoid at all costs

Update, they now realise they do owe £92 but refuse to return it and will use it as a credit on the next transaction.

For your own wellbeing go to anyone else, big yellow storage?

I will not recommend this storage to even my worst enemy. Rats or mice will damage your stuff and they will blame you for that. They are rude and unprofessional and their service is worse. think twice before using this storage.

I signed my contract from 16 Dec, but the unit was made available only on 18 Dec. So I was unable to use it

I'm always booking a unit on the behalf of work and always have way to many questions, but Zara has always been there to answer them all and explain in as much details as possible so I can feed this back to work.
Not once have I ever been made to feel silly or that i'm taking up to much of her time. There's so much more i can say, but overall this has genuinely been the best customer service i've received in a long time.
Also anyone else i've spoken too has gone above and beyond with any help i've needed help, which is a rare find post pandemic, everyone want to help and make sure you get the best deal for the space you need.
