Shore Excursions Group Omdömen 

It was fairly easy, but we really wanted to order a port guide for Mykonos and Kusadasi, but those were not available to order when we were doing the combined excursions package - is there a way to order the port guides now? How can we get port guides, now that we finalized our order?

Kept getting errors about listing cruise info. We aren’t there on a cruise so I used hotel but it took about three tries of re-entering info to get it to finally work. Almost gave up.

I've used Shore Excursions Group for the last couple of years and have been much happier with them then taking cruise ship excursions. But my most recent experience was not good. I took a cruise and I didn't know until the night before that the ship I was on was docking at the farthest area of the cruise port. It was a 30 minute walk to the Shore Excursion meet point and 5 minute ride by bus. By the time I exited the ship, there were no taxis on site. My excursion was at 2:00pm and our ship was due to dock at 1:30pm. However, our ship arrived earlier and we were allowed to disembark. My family was placed in a line that was stopped for long periods of time. We made if off the ship before 1:30 pm but there were extremely long lines for the shuttles and there was a priority system in place. My family walked to the pick up and we got there at 2:00pm. I wasn't able to contact our driver and communicated through a person on the emergency number. We were informed that we were too late. The chaos was with our cruise ship. However, I purchased insurance and thought I was good to go, but, my claim was denied because the tour went as scheduled and supposedly others from my ship arrived in time. The insurance definitely wasn't worth it. In the past, the cruise ship skipped a port and I received and automatic refund. You can cancel your excursions, but it has to be 24 hours in advance. I can see no reason at all for buying the insurance. In Juneau, there were many vendors with comparable or better pricing. I ended up taking the excursion I wanted at a better price. I also learned that I could book through local vendors online. Whenever I book an excursion even with Shore Excursion Group, I want to know that the goal is to get me back at least two hours before all aboard. I blame my cruise ship for the chaos, but I will keep my options open moving forward with excursions and I'll never waste money again on a Shore Excursion Group insurance policy.

Easy to navigate website. Had detailed question on tour times & contacted SEG. They got back to me in <2 business days with the answer. Pleased.

Absolute horrible experience with our excursion. The driver knew nothing pertaining to our tour. He had us lost several time during the tour and we did not see half of the places that were highlighted in the description. I called them the second I returned to the ship and have heard nothing back from them.

Our tour guide was terrific. Very knowledgeable and made the excursion amazing! Kudos to Tracy who had a wealth of Beatles knowledge and shared her pictures as well as general knowledge. This was the best tour we have taken with either our ship or SEG

We had a great excursion on March 12 at St Luca. We took the 5- hour Soufriere Island Delight and falls tour. It was beautiful and just as represented. The Diamond Botanical Gardens and Waterfalls were spectacular and our guide explained all the unique ad beautiful flowers to us. The views of the twin peaks of the Pitons was a sight to behold and we took photos from an excellent vantage point. Driving into the crater of the volcano was something and the tour there was enjoyable and informative. Our guide and driver were the best, so friendly and caring about our experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Once I got the correct link, everything went smoothly.

Information received after booking and paying for excursions(2) didn't have Shore Excursions contact information included. Never received the Istanbul guide book we paid for. There was not information provided about where to meet the guide nor the time. The whole process was confusing.
