Missing parts, zero customer support
We purchased a telescope for our son’s birthday. It was missing a critical part when we assembled it. No biggy, just order the part right? Nope. These goons decided that because we didn’t order the telescope directly from them they can’t even tell us how to order the part … which is ostensibly from them? Certainly from somewhere is their supply chain? Who knows.
Absolutely worthless product backed by nothing. We will not by buying more products from these guys.

Excellent gifts to buy from National Geographic.
Got a science kit for 12 years old plus as gift as kid is interested in science but all the other ones weren't really science. This one is great. I would advise even if your kid is 12 to do so with adult supervision as some of the chemicals can be hazardous and you know what kids are like. As well as your actual cool chemical reactions that they all love to go for first they also had ones like making test tubs and coins invisible in see through cup etc, finger stays dry if you stick it in one of the compounds then stick in glass of water. From really cool chemical reaction ones to almost illusion ones it was great and I honestly think most adults would have fun while making sure everything is done safely. I did !
Also got at the same time a crystal growing kit that once they grow they fit into a night light stand from national geographic, Not done the crystals yet but checked the light stan the fit into and its cool and will look even better with the crystals in there once they grow as it makes them light up too.
Very reasonably priced and have kept most of the empty tubs as most of the substances for most experiments you can buy the stuff online or shops and just refill, also comes with gloves/glasses for protection just in case.
