Avoid at all costs! This company is just as likely to take your money and run as they are to actually deliver you a product. 10 working days have passed and no news on my order. I get that they were running a Black Friday sale, I understand they’ll be busy. But it cannot physically take this long to put 10-15 dvd cases into a box and slap a label on it. Assuming you are working 8 hours a day and you pack 6-10 orders an hour we are still looking at 640 orders if only one person is packing boxes. You will get zero communication from the support team other than a “we are sorry it’s taking so long” response.

The prices are genuinely too good to be true. They must be printing the discs and cases and everything to order to make the despatch times take this long.

I'm from Spain and bought a couple vinyls from the UK online store two months ago. I received them well but now I'm getting a letter from Fedex telling me that I own 25€ on taxes and that they will take legal actions against me if I don't pay.
At first I didn't relate it at all with my order but then Fedex confirmed it to me via chat with an agent.
It seems that there's a customs tax that I have to pay, although I was not informed when I did the payment. I just found it hidden in the FAQs, but I was not notified when I purchased the vinyl. They should advertise this as soon as you put your address and they see it's not from the UK.
They say they're sorry and have no control over it. Well then, they should write it in the payment section as every other UK site I buy from does.
I'll never again buy from them.

Slow in both service and communication, with no up front information about true stock and no apologies. 'Shipping now' seems to mean shipping late which isn't advised unless you prompt them after ordering.

Bought a ~200pound special edition bluray box. Shipping was on time and the package was in good condition outside. But almost all of the discs had some scratches on them. I waited 8 months to get replacement discs, which were also scratched (a little better, but still not mint). After this I received one more patch of replacement discs and these were also scrathed. After this they have not responded my emails. Quality control in this firm is awful and I would not recommend buying anything expensive from them.

I ordered 4 DVD on Alltheanime French site the 14th of July (we are the 26th of July).
Impossible to have any update by ''contact page'' (on French & UK website) and phone number in France and Glasgow are false...

Avoid this company! Spent £90 and the courier service -XDP- they use to deliver stole my order! No response from company on this.

First of all, I've been buying off of ATA for years for both me and a discord group of friends, we give you a fair amount of business.

In terms of products, they are spot on. Their blu rays and DVDs are always packaged perfectly and I've never had an order that hasn't worked, or even disks that have come out of their holders (which is common if sent unpadded).

That being said, you guys need to work on your communication. A lot of bad reviews seem to have been a result of the December sale, and this happens pretty much every time it happens. ATA has a habit of putting stock up for sale which they simply don't have at the time, and has to wait for production I believe. This would be fine, since the prices are insanely good value during the sale, but just communicate to your customers that you are going to restock the items.

I ordered a massive batch of Blu Rays for me and a bunch of mates (it worked out easier this way) and the majority were sent at once, with the rest being drip fed to me over January. I don't mind this, I can wait of course, but there was no way to see when I would receive these blu rays, or even if I would, just a 'partial' notice on the order page.

Since I have been through this before, I was happy to wait, I knew how they operate, but even then I was still a bit anxious when I was still waiting on a few things at the end of January. Honestly, an email, a link on the site, or even a tweet would have helped so much in this situation. It doesn't help that last time this happened, the first time I bought in the sale, your Twitter rep was pretty short with me over DMs for simply asking when Blu Rays were being posted. So either you have a stressed out guy on the other line, or you guys need to get your act together.

A lot of people aren't aware of all of this, and I would not be happy if I had ordered something for Christmas, only for it to arrive over a month later with no communication from the seller.

Maybe it isn't as simple as a tweet or whatever, I don't understand how, but these things should be communicated before you let people buy things, or at least give updates.

Other than that, you do get some quality releases through ATA, so it's worth noting that most of these complaints come down to a specific scenario.

It is unacceptable that a site based on "trust" would remove truthful reviews.

I Ordered early December from the seller, and received my order 3 months later, in early March. No help received from AllTheAnime rep before multiple calls and emails with order courier (FedEx). Sub-par experience with very slow shipment time.

Afterwards the seller has IP-blocked my residential IP-address, despite my account still having open, paid-for, orders. My customer account hasn't been deactivated as of this review.

Effectively I am blocked from accessing COM TLD & French TLD sites of the seller & pinging their affiliated email server.

Site(s) & IP aforementioned are accessible from other IP-addresses and devices (from various countries and different fingerprints). Leading me to conclude this is indeed an IP-based ban.

Funnily enough, this ban has been seemingly partially lifted, as I can now, weeks later, access the site again (but CDN is still blocking my residential IP).

My partner and I came across this site via an advert on facebook and saw some exceptional deals during their 12 days of Christmas sale which initially made us sceptical. However on reading the reviews we decided to give it a go and were not disappointed in any way shape or form. We placed an order for a total of 10 dvds and blurays which was fulfilled only one day later than they quoted as the timescale and the parcel was received a week later as quoted on their site. The goods were well packaged and in pristine condition, the prices were amazing and the fact that this all took place during the busy period around Christmas is nothing short of exceptional. We will definitely be ordering from them again!

Ordered 6th December 2019 spent £125 Received one Blu - Ray towards end Of January now in February 2020 Stil no order and Excuses of don't have the Stock unacceptable of a company money should not be taken unless stock is Available Utter Disgrace Filed PayPal cases and got my money back Not waiting anymore will take my custom and money elsewhere avoid at all costs and find items elsewhere would not give use them ever again !

always delivered their and the 12 days of Christmas thing was not on them but the couriers, as explained in a follow up email. they even gave refunds for those who bought them as a gift

Some of the limited releases being 1000 copies only are absolutely ridiculous, especially when it's a popular series that sell out the same day it's released and you don't even have time to make it home from work. I feel cheated every time. Oh and the standard releases you are forced to buy after 2 years of waiting look like ### compared to the Collector Editions with logos and extremely ugly text and colors on the spine to obscure the title of the release. They are abusing their semi-monopoly to cream out every last coin out of you. Scumbags.

Brilliant range of series and great delivery times!

I made several orders between early and mid December and All The Anime have so far failed to fulfil any of them. I understand there was an issue with the courier service that affected a large number of orders, however, adequate steps to expedite affected orders were clearly not taken! It's now the 3rd of January and I'm still waiting. Every other company I used in the run up to Christmas managed to ship orders to me in a timely manner and I feel very let down by All The Anime.

Orders 3 dvds on 2 orders during the 12 days of xmas sale on 9th December, get an email 12 days later to say their distribution messed up, now i am left without items that were supposed to be xmas gifts, communication has been shoddy and no delivery date has been confirmed at all now, theu do appear to be con artists at this point

While I've written off the situation by now; I won a SAO lithograph twitter contest around this time last year.

After a light complication of Twitter handles, such was sorted and and my address was requested and given to the company. Since then there has been zero contact nor item arrived. Have tried to contact them regarding this both over private messages and public mentions to no avail.
While I understand the fact things may of happened and giveaways are not obligatory, this shines a bad light on the company for me.

Disappointing to be honest.

Wow! Found these glasweigan chaps thru facebook and recently brought the fullmetal alchemist blu ray collectors sets from them. What can I say other than excellent! They provided by far and away the best prices for these sets (ranging from £5-15 cheaper than anywhere else). The shipping was free (within the UK)- a rare treat from a 'small' business. To top it all off it was first class delivery so was pretty much next day. Their range looks good and the site is very easy to navigate. The only very minor thing i'd note is my order status didn't really update on my account but with shipping this fast I barely had time to check it before my item arrived! Will shop here again and recommend to other anime fanatics!
