Shireplants Omdömen 

Having lost many Penstemon 'Stapleford Gem' over the winter, I was struggling to find any in stock anywhere. Thankfully Shire plants were able to help. The plants were of a really good quality and size for the price, and they were beautifully packed, so arrived in perfect condition. I know this is a super-busy time of year for nurseries, but Matt provided excellent personal service to ensure that I received them at the time I needed them, to ensure they will be well established for my son's wedding in a few weeks. Very grateful and will definitely be returning to Shire Plants again, thank you.

My plants arrived yesterday in great condition I’m more than please with the service. I will definitely be ordering more from them

I have given 1 star as l was unable to give none: the plants arrived, l ordered Artemesia S Nana- expecting neat plants but received tall (ten inches high) plants that had obviously been grown too close together as the foliage was long and unable to support itself and black and slimy at the base. I carefully placed the plants a foot apart still in the pots ina bright but not sunny place, hoping that they would recover but sadly most of the growth feel off. I have now cut off the remaining rotting growth hoping for neat plants to emerge. I read the enclosed paperwork that came with the plantstock but returns wasn't listed.
I have contacted Shire Plants by email but have been totally ignored.
Dreadful customer service and dreadful plants.

My plants arrived today in very good condition. An excellent service from a small nursery with really unusual plants. Would highly recommend them to plant lovers.

I'm always nervous buying plants online but I was impressed with these. Delivery was quick and the plants were well-packaged.

I have just received my order from Shire Plants and I am very happy. The cost of the plants was very competitive and for the price I was expecting small plants. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised how full they were. I know I would of paid several pounds more in a local nursery. The packaging is really good and prevented any damage to my plants in transit. I love they provide some unusual plants that you can’t find in normal nurseries. I had been waiting on one of the plants to become available for awhile so was happy to get an e-mail saying it was now in stock. I am happy to support a small independent company who cares about their products rather than the big nurseries with the narrow “popular” range and poor care for plants. I have a discount code for next time so I will definitely be making more purchases in the future.

It looks like they have quickly put a circa 7cm nursery growing pot plant into a circa 9cm retail pot, plants had come out of the pots and had been shaken around in transit very badly, one broken into two pieces - there is hardly any root growth and the compost was very loose indeed, so nothing was there to hold the newly potted on plant in place. I am surprised plants were so quickly shipped out after potting on. Surely it is best to wait until root growth is seen through bottom drainage holes before shipping anything out by mail order or at very least well rooted into stable compost.
Not only poor quality product but couldn't be bothered to reply to an email complaint.
First and last order for me.
