Shell ist wie alle anderen großen Minerallkonzerne auch ein massiver Kriegegewinnler und muss zerschlagen werden. Ich bin froh, dass wir vor vier Jahren einen vollelektrischen Zweitwagen gekauft haben.

Visit this garage regularly, great customer service and always well managed from papers and fresh pastries to flowers and a good selection of breakfast fare and flowers. Fuel might be a little higher priced than average but having the shop, services and product availability more than makes up the difference. And Rueben's brilliant on the checkout, would go out of my way to shop for essentials and fill up here.

After seeing UK national news today report diesel prices in London at 166.9p per litre, I was absolutely appalled to find this Shell station in Forfar, Scotland charging a staggering 185.9p per litre.

This isn’t a small difference, it’s an excessive and unjustifiable markup that feels like blatant profiteering. There is simply no reasonable explanation for such a huge gap compared to other parts of that UK.

At a time when ordinary people are already under serious financial pressure, pricing fuel at this level comes across as exploitative and completely out of touch with the realities customers are facing.

I will not be using this station again and would strongly urge others to avoid it and check prices elsewhere. This kind of pricing should be called out. 18/03/2026

Disgusting. Bad access. Blocked by works nearby. Poor service levels. I scraped the panels under my car. Forecourt is tight and untidy. Staff are rude. Overly expensive. Toilets are disgusting.

Fuel prices at this station are disgracefully high. Once you get out of Henley you can save 20p per litre. Absolute extortion.

Shell petrol station provide wrong fuel. Fill up diesel but it’s turns out was contaminated with petrol. After all car going to scrap. Shell denied everything what I said.

No thought for customer or intention of offering any service.. Tried to contact customerservices at shellrecharge following failed arrempt to charge car at Conway. No payment options, just a charge card would be sent in 5 days. Customer services email does not accept incoming emails unless they have authorised you to email them. No option to award zero stars

Shell Darnall Sheffield didn't scanned my reward properly and told me it has been scanned. Won't go again to this pump again.

Using the app can be an ordeal, and the charging stations leave much to be desired. I've spent both time and money trying to initiate a charge—sometimes it works instantly, while other times it doesn’t, leaving me bewildered. It's incredibly disheartening that the closest charging station is a Shell one. I suspect the pre-authorisation charge is just a money-making tactic, as it takes 8 to 14 days to return the funds from a failed transaction. During this time, I wonder where my money is being held. Believ charging stations might require some patience, especially if you make an error, but at least they function reliably. Opt for Believ, steer clear of Shell, and preserve your peace of mind.

The app is terrible, the charging points are awful. I have spent an hour and £120 trying to start a charge. Sometimes it works straightaway, sometimes it doesn't. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Incredibly frustrating. I feel so sad that our nearest charging point is a Shell one. I am convinced the pre-authorisation charge is a way for these companies to make money. Why does it take 8 - 14 days to return a pre-authorisation charge for a payment that didn't go through? Where is my money being held during that time? Believ Charging points are time consuming (particularly if you make a mistake) but at least they work. Use them, avoid Shell, save your sanity.

Absolutely scam petrol station promotion ripping customers left right and centre don't fill up at shell at all to expensive and there promotions are all rigged you won't get anything back from them

I was sent a fine for not paying for fuel,l wasn't aware that my card hadn't gone through, also wasn't advised by shell staff member at the till. Forecourt eye sent me a letter for the £20 fuel with £35 admin fee added, stating I had tried to steal fuel, I went into the garage to buy a coffee and pay for the fuel, if I was told the payment didn't go through I would of paid with a different card, I had good intentions to pay.
I have been trying to dispute the charge and offered so many times to pay for the fuel. Ive also asked for cctv to show that I was informed my payment hadnt gone through, they refused to provide this. instead increased the fee to £120 and passed my details onto trace debt agency.
I have asked for a break down to show what this £120 admin fee actually covers and I have continued to offer to pay for the fuel. I have spoken to shell garage who will not allow me to pay for the fuel and say l need to pay forecourt eye. I have also offered to pay the original £35 admin fee as a good will gesture, just to try and get this issue sorted, but forecourt eye say I owe them £120 admin fee now.
Has anyone else experienced these issues

Worst company to get hold of. We have been trying for over two weeks now to reset our app to pay an overdue invoice. There is no one you can speak to. No human to speak with. Only email address which no one responds back to you. If you want a headache, sign up for Shell Fleet.

Shell V Power is stupidly expensive for what you get near £1.70 per litre in our area, 30p more than normal!

Set up Shell Go Plus account, unfortunately after 4 days I have given up. I cannot log into the app, every code they send me ‘something is wrong’ customer service is non existent, the chat is pointless, does not work. But hey, they make billions so why should they care about minor things like customer service. I personally won’t bother using Shell again, plenty of other places to buy fuel. The Esso app is much better, set up and logged in within an hour and it works!
