Sharkleathers run a shop in Qld and it appears their staff are very good. They also run facebook adds for their online store which is where they are totally incompitent. Refer to all of the other low ratings for the examples of this. In my case I orded a $200+ jacket that was showing as in store. 2 weeks later with the item not shipped I contacted them and was told the item was at their 'offsite' wharehouse and was being moved to their shipping wharehouse. At day 18 I have lost patience. You can ship from China or Europe in around 4 days and this crew think it is ok to take 18 days to ship from one wharehouse to the next? My jacket is still showing as available instore by the way. When motorcyclists order stuff they want it immediately, not 3 weeks/months down the track. I will apply to Visa for a refund as they are not answering my latest emails. Safer than getting a refund from them as they generally only issue an instore refund which is useless for an interstate buyer.

Extremely disappointing experience with Shark Leathers. I placed a $638.96 order on 6 October for a Simpson helmet and a MOTODRY backpack. More than three weeks later, I still have no goods, no dispatch confirmation and no tracking.

I was advised of a 7–14 business day dispatch timeframe, which has now passed. I requested cancellation and a full refund on 26 October, but still have no response or refund. I have also opened a dispute through Afterpay.

Having to chase an order and then chase a refund, without any meaningful communication, is unacceptable customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ordering from this business.

I ordered 2 pairs of gloves that were in stock on their websitr. After a week without a delivery update I emailed them for an update. I received no reply. I left it for another week and emailed again and received no reply. Im now getting paypal to refund me and ill buy yhe gloves from another store with better customer service, that actually wants my business and won't be shopping with shark leathers again.

Should have done more research before purchasing, their website says in stock but when I contacted them after 2 weeks of my order not being shipped, they tell me my order is coming in from their suppliers. That's not what " in stock " means you absolute scammers. Thank god I paid with a credit card so I can file a chargeback.

Do not order a thing from this business! Once they got my money i was given the runaround. Multiple calls and emails, going round in circles, 2 weeks but nothing dispatched. Demanded a full refund. Now have to wait up to 10 days for a refund.

I'll try to keep this concise. Do yourself a favor and never order from this shop.
I tried to initiate a warranty claim for a set of heated gloves, only to be told that for a warranty claim I need to send the items back so it can be forwarded to the supplier. 3 months an no word. When I followed up they said it was with the supplier.
another 2 months later I'd heard nothing. Followed up, heard nothing for 3 weeks. I was then told that I needed to send the batteries back (issue was not with batteries as communicated to them multiple times). I have still yet to hear the outcome of my pushback from this, but based on other reviews and experiences I'm not holding my breath.

Update: They simply refused a refund unless the “manufacturer warranty process is followed”. I cancelled the warranty claim as they couldn’t give any timeframe for how much longer it would take if I sent the batteries back. This was my choice because I’d rather have a non-functional, $400 waste of money than have to continue dealing with these chumps.

I paid for adventure riding gear two days ago, then immediately asked for a refund because I need the equipment now and was told it would take six weeks. They agreed to cancel, but instead of returning my money they offered only store credit, restricted to in-store use. I also visited their onlinestore to see if the credit could work for me. Unfortunately, the items I actually want are out of stock in my size, and the range available is minimal. So the credit is effectively useless to me right now.

Waited over 3 months for a pair of riding jeans that were on sale.
They showed my size was available (38) but after waiting 3 weeks for a delivery, I contacted them. Was told "sorry" that size is out of stock!!!
We are waiting for our next shipment.
Paid with PayPal, so I can get a refund as these morons are absolutely useless.
Keep getting the runaround... Now they tell me that their latest shipment didn't include my size. Still have to wait.. I've given up!

Their customer service policy is clearly that if they ignore you long enough you will just go away! Appalling communication - shop with these 'SHARK's' at your risk!

Waited months for an order and when it finally arrived they missed an item... out of 2 items total 🤦‍♂️

Shipping went up $110 after placing order sent invoice for extra $110
Told i would receice my order in 4 days
Rang 6 days later to be told order had only just left rang a further 3 times to get tracking details
Absoulute joke dealing with shark leathers NEVER AGAIN

I ordered a backpack which was listed as in stock to wait 2 weeks with no postage confirmation. Sent a email and was told they where waiting for stock from the warehouse so I waited a further 3 weeks. Still no confirmation so I emailed them again asking what game they was playing. I told them to post the item by the end of the week or give me a full refund.
I then had a full refund of my order with no explanation from the shop what so ever.
Just a FYI they still have the exact item listed as in stock. What a joke......
DO NOT SHOP HERE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely useless when it comes to contact
I ordered new helmet and intercom express, they posted 3 weeks later and wouldn’t refund me extra I paid for express. After waiting 2 months for the intercom i called to cancel, now they didn’t refund me and I just received now, 5months later, no correspondence when I called them. Just didn’t refund and sent the product anyway

I will never even look at their site again let alone recommend to anyone

I ordered a few Merlin shirts from Shark Leathers because they were sold out in standard sizes here and apparently no new shipment was expected. Shark Leathers had these shirts in stock and offered international shipping on their website. The entire delivery took 2 weeks and 4 days. Everything went smoothly – including customs clearance. The merchandise was excellent. Everything I ordered fits perfectly, and I am very satisfied. Steffen Wettig, Germany

The store advertises items as “in stock,” but this appears to be misleading. They are displaying supplier stock rather than their own physical inventory. They also offer express shipping on these items, which doesn’t seem possible if the product first needs to be sent from the supplier to their store.

Poor quality zip, disgraceful customer service.
They delayed responding to my emails and kept putting me off.
After some time, I could not leave a review on their product.... I reckon this is a tactic they use: "Please contact us before leaving a review if you have an issue". They delay customers, so you can't leave a review.
How can these people sleep at night.

I have only just seen other peoples reviews and I can say I had a complete opposite experience.

I have only just got into bikes and the staff member on the phone was very helpful and got my stuff delivered quite quickly.

Have also since been into the store numerous times since then as well. Staff & Products are good quality

Huge thanks to the team at Shark Leathers for their outstanding service and advice. They set me up with a Cardo communication system for my motorcycle, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Again yet another person that should have read the reviews, It took a month no correspondance or tracking # then another two weeks of many phone calls and emails after I officially cancelled the order to receive confirmation of a refund, they got an extra star because at least the person who i did speak to was polite even though they were no help.... after ordering from another gold Coast company the goods were here after 2 days which leads me to believe this company hadn't even ordered the gold............don't buy online from them
