Shapeways Omdömen 

I ordered a DJI mount from Shapeways and it turned out to be only one half of a two piece set and hence useless without the other half. This was not clearly labelled on the website.

I’ve only good experiences with ordering from Shapeways. Website keeps you up to date on your order and promptly provides you with tracking for your order. I do wish that the metal items were cheaper though.

I've ordered multiple items from Shapeways, both my own designs and designs from others. I have yet to have a bad experience. As a sculptor, I have an eye for detail and demand a certain level of quality when it comes to 3-D prints. I very much enjoy having a site I can turn to that helps me realize my work. They have a pretty easy upload process for files and even have some software running that can fix some minor issues with your model making it more likely to successfully print. I love range of material you can choose from, especially the high detail acrylite materials. In addition to great materials and quality, the customer service is very good too, back a few years ago, I had a piece that came in broken as it was pretty fragile ($200.00 print), the people over at Shapeways, immediately started to reprint my piece and had it sent to me at no additional cost. The short falls of this company are the prices. 3-D printing is not a new technology anymore and it's becoming a lot more common with better printers are coming out every year. That being said, the prices for some of these materials can be kind of high when you look at some of the other options available but you're also paying for that quality these industry printers can reach that you definitely won't get with any printers that are available for individuals to buy and run yourself. There's a trade off there that depends ultimately what you are looking for. For me, these guys get the job done right and that's worth paying a little more sometimes depending on the project.

Different experiences from different designers The "high" quality plastic prints; curved/spherical pieces have an unwanted line where the piece is not entirely smooth/curved.

Normal quality plastic prints have a better (smoother) curved/spherical outer. But, some roughness on the back (which was only a minor annoyance, as sanding removed this).

The general detail is good. I would buy again.

The items I ordered arrived in a ludicrously large box (the employee warned me when handing it over that "it feels empty") and they were full of grit. Customer FAQ indicates that items are cleaned before shipping, so I emailed customer service. They blamed the design (not untrue but maybe they should vet the products available to purchase a little better), pointed me toward a different FAQ page aimed at designers, and recommended I pick it out with a sharp object.

Got Shapeways to 3D print my wedding ring, it was perfect. Thank you... And she sad YES :D

I recently ordered 2 custom key caps for my Cherry MX switch mechanical keyboard. One was great. A clearly quality design that I was happy with. The second looked like trash. So bad that it looked like it was made of clay. I understand that the images available are renders of previews but man was it bad. Some proof that you can make a quality product and some accountability would be appreciate. Do not know if I would order again.

I've designed, bought and sold lots of items thanks to Shapeways' great service. They're putting a great technology at the hands of everyone on the web.

99.9% of the time everything works like a well oiled machine and I have no reason to not continue using their service.
If there has ever been a bug with the site the teams have been quick to respond and fix it. On the rare occasion that products aren't shipped on time (at most it's been about a day late) the delays have been quickly communicated. Any time I've needed assistance it has been easy to get through to someone who can help me out.

Ik heb hier al veel verschillende dingen besteld. Ze maken unieke producten naar je eigen ontwerp, of je kunt ontwerpen van anderen kopen. Veel verschillende materialen mogelijk.
Website is duidelijk, maar kan nog wel verbeterd worden op verschillende puntjes. Klantenservice is snel, vriendelijk en correct, ze kunnen in Nederlands en Engels benaderd worden.
Verzending is zeer goed, zelfs de breekbaarste onderdelen zijn goed aangekomen. Je krijgt daardoor wel een vrij grote doos toegestuurd, maar dat is verder geen probleem. Ze maken een product op maat voor jou, het ligt dus niet op de plank. Levertijd is afhankelijk van de productietijd, verwacht niet dat je het morgen in huis hebt. De leverdatum wordt duidelijk aangegeven.

Bestilte på deres side d. 16. juni 2015, og ankom d. 24. juni. Så det tog 8 dage (6 hverdage). Absolut ikke noget jeg vil brokke mig over, da det først bliver produceret efter bestillingen. Man kan nemt følge med i, hvor langt de er nået med det man har bestilt. Når det er afsendt, får man et tracking nummer med direkte link, så man nemt kan se hvor pakken er henne af i verden. Min blev sendt med UPS og leveret af UPS. Selve produktet er af høj kvalitet. Super tilfreds!

Dog skal man vente 3-4 uger før man modtager sine varer grundet det faktum, at produktionen selvfølgelig først sættes igang når man bestiller, lagt sammen med shippingtiden over Atlanten...
