Ordered 8 wings of War aircraft. Seven arrived, one missing. After having to send proof of what I ordered and what I got, Shapeways reps apologized and are sending missing aircraft.

Star nr1. The product at the end are good.
Star nr2. The platform works welll, and it is easy to order.
Star nr3. Prices are good for single pieces.

Missing star: no bulk prices even if they put a button for bulk prices. They apply only to a couple of things.

Missing star: Orders cannot be modified or adjusted once they are placed. It is very unflexible service.

My order, two British Rail class AM310 EMU driving trailers in 00 gauge arrived 10 day ahead of their quoted delivery date.
Unfortunately due entirely to the carrier UPS, the package had suffered damage in transit and both items despite being very well packed were damaged beyond reasonable repair. However, without question Shapeways are dispatching replacements to me free of charge. Looking at the 3D printed one piece body shell is very good, far better than I was expecting. it is prited in white plastic. Being a one piece design it is without seam/joints and is fairly rigid. As with all 3D Printed items some finishing is required to smooth some surfaces. But nothing major. Both body shells look accurate and ompare very well with prototype photos. One small error, the coach inner ends should be more rounded as per british rail mark 2 coaching stock. However once painted, glazed and fitted with detail parts and decals will look stunning. The front end is very complex and is to the as built style of the prototype with curved windscreens. The front end also includes the buffer beam and buffers. the inner end includes the corridor connection and headstock without buffers as per the prototype.
The sides are fairly thin and will allow near flush glazing. Both inner and outer ends also have internal transverse stiffened aiding body rigiderty.
Overall the bodyshell are a good design, very delicate in appearance and very well printed. The modeller shoul be congratulated. This is a very unusual prototype to model. One tha I and a number of other modellers have wanted for years. I very much look forward to completing the full 4 car unit and operating it on my layout.

I'm new to 3D printing and had several questions after receiving a few models. They were very helpful and got back to me in 24 hours. I set photos of the two objects they printed and they gave me tips on why one model seemed more refined than another. I wanted to use the least expensive method for printing but get the smoothest surface. They're helpful, professional and produce great parts. I'm excited to work with them going forward!

The part I received was a perfect fit. I ordered a magazine release for a Thompson M1A1 airsoft machine gun. The item was received within 1 week. I highly recommend Shapeways!!!

The item I received was not the item I ordered. I was, however, charged the slightly higher price of my original order and presented with a receipt as proof that I had ordered incorrectly. Total B.S. Stay away from this company.

Unverständlich, da wähle ich eine feinere Gradierung und Oberfläche, für natürlich 30 Euro mehr und bekomme eine deutlich unsauberes Produkt und es fehlen sogar komplette Details die beim einfachen Druck vorhanden sind. Das ist keine dauerhafte Qualität.

I was looking for a toy for my nephew and stumbled upon a puzzle.

I've visited the website of these guys to buy it - the main page of the product showed a few screenshots and a quick description which gave the impression of the toy.

So far so good - I've purchased it.

A week later when I received it, it appeared that it's only a part of the whole toy and that I have to purchase the rest which doubled the price and was way beyond of what I'd expect.

So I've contacted them for a refund on the same day.

They've refused saying something like "we won't be able to sell it to anyone else as it’s a ‘unique assemble’ ” (really?? You are selling the same toy on your website to multiple people!!)

But they've changed their mind right after I've opened a dispute on PayPal providing the evidences of the misleading selling page of the toy.

Via PayPal they've asked me to return the purchase to get the refund. But the return shipping price was on me!)

I've sent it back (recording a quick video of me packing it back as it already started to look very suspicious)

It was expected to receive the toy by them within a week. But I waited for a bit longer - 4 weeks since then and a complete silence. No evidence of them processing the case further.

After reaching out to them again directly via email the response was - “we don’t provide refunds”

WHAT???

And you know what - it appeared that there was no way for me to do anything on PayPal as it was in the "waiting for the seller to confirm the return" state. And they were trying to take advantage of that: it was clear now that they didn't intend to confirm that at all.

This is so ridiculous.

Now they have the toy and my money.

The only way for me to proceed was to contact my bank directly to report fraud as well as to report these guys to all financial institution for what they do.

Only after sending them this warning they've marked the case on PayPal as resolved and refunded all the money.

At the end I've wasted almost 2 months and the money to send the toy back.

Learned one more time - stick to amazon as you never have to mess with stuff like that there. Or at least read the reviews first to prepare yourself.

JUST STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS!

Missing item was replaced in record time with no hassles.

Poor quality parts do not line up save your money.

I ordered a small model tank but when it arrived it was way too small. The seller and the company both refused a refund and suggested I sell the tiny model on eBay...!
Stay well away from these scammers.
