I love this school!

It's easy to understand and they are very quick in responding. I love how I can actually train and certify my dog in the comfort of my home with the help of the tutor/trainers. I'm always excited to check the comments and results of each module because it makes me feel that I am on the right track. Now I will be able to bring my dog anywhere and help me when I need him.

This has been an amazing course: hugely informative, stimulating, challenging, and rewarding on many levels. I have personal difficulty with aspects of IT and have had wonderful tutor support to overcome these problems. I have learnt so much in domains I had not anticipated.
The course has stimulated me to read widely about behavioural learning theory and its invaluable application to dog training. It has also prompted me to read extensively on the importance of canine nutrition and how very misleading is the received view of canine deity requirement in relation to canine mortality and obesity.
Although I knew a bit about different dog breeds, I had not appreciated the extent to which their genetic traits (as groups) predominate and how harnessing those traits is so necessary in general and can be so beneficial for certain service dog requirements. In relation to this last, the importance of ‘matching’ the service dog breed to the needs of its human. I have learned how to break down what can at times seem almost impossible challenges for a service dog to master, into behavioural ‘bits’, and how joining/associating the ‘bits’ builds to the end-product (that needs to be maintained by intermittent reinforcement and handler self-checks to ensure complacency does not set in).
It has been fascinating to understand how ‘problem dog behaviours’ are often being reinforced unwittingly by dog humans by premature reinforcement and reinforcement of ‘not quite’ the behaviour that is required. The helpfulness of clicker training to mark desired behaviours precisely as they occur has been brilliantly explained and I have used a clicker for Poppy with very good results.
I am proud of my service dog, and have achieved far more than I hoped in building confidence in training her. She has become my support and comfort, essential for activities of daily living with a disability that until her presence has had a hugely adverse impact on my life. I feel I can look forward to being more confident and able to cope when I am in situations that overwhelm me. I am so grateful for having the privilege to discover this course and through it, to have been provided with the understanding and skills that are essential for being a service dog handler and for training my incredible service dog. Thank you so very much.

Easy, straightforward, helpful. Everything about this school is well thought out and easy to follow. Their website functions great too; no trouble. And now my dog is registered as a service dog and can accompany me on my next air travel!

This service was terrific. Easy to follow and able to be done at our own pace. Clicker technique was very effective. Tutor was encouraging. Uploading videos was relatively easy to accomplish. Wonderful to be able to do everything online.

The lessons are online and well explained, easy to follow and practice with my dog. Each exam is graded and promptly returned.
Truly a great experience for myself, our dog and the family.

I have a Jack Russel (3 years old). I took a course at Service Dog Training School and we have successfully passed it together with Jack.
The instructions provided were quite understandable and easy following. Jack's behaviour improved a lot, however, I understand that I should keep practicing all these tricks with him to let him follow my commands automatically.

Milo is a 3 year old German Shepard with Basic and Advanced Training. Due to my Health issues I need a companion who can assitst me in my darker health moments. Milo is extremely attentive and will not leave my side no matter what I may be experinecing!

Excellent material so it was easy to understand. Also it was fun and interesting to practice with my cat. We enjoyed the process and both got new knowledge.

This company is absolutely amazing! Not only did they aid me in training, my service dog for several different tasks, they also helped guide me through an incident in which I was being denied access to a medical facility because of my dog.

They helped guide me through the laws and show me where the ADA guidelines were so that I could prove my case, and therefore gain access for my companion.

Should I ever need services again this is the first place I would go. Not only are they affordable, but they are hands on when needed. I had my companion trained back in 2021, and here it is 2023 and they were still willing to help work with me when I needed them the most thank you so much and God bless your company for you were helping so many need for others will not.

Fantastic intensive assistance dog training program! Very detailed instructions and extremely useful feedback form the Tutors at all times. Extremely happy with the results. I also found it to be very educational for me as handler.

Since I enrolled on the training course on line , I had a great support by this training school. My little dog Fido and I spent numerous training hours perfecting the tasks . Fido responded excellently ( we had a great bond prior to embarking on this course ) . Since I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety 10 years ago my life became very difficult and my mental health was deteriorating rapidly . In October 2021 we lost our dearest cat Spike who passed away after 16 years of our life together. My partner and I were left with a huge emptiness in our lives and my mental health deteriorated down the spiral further and further . In January 2022 we decided to open our house to a new member of our little family and welcomed 4 months old terrier mix ( Norfolk / Border terrier ) puppy into our lives . We named him Fido and since day one happiness and unconditional love returned to our house. At 5 months old Fido and I embarked on intense socialising and basic training course with a local puppy school . He completed the training with the flying colours and I started looking for further opportunity to train him as my mental health service dog . I work as a teacher and was incredibly lucky to be allowed to take Fido with me to school every day after he was gradually introduced to a very busy and noisy environment . He took on his new task like a duck to water and soon the principal of my school suggested I start a service dog training . After some unsuccessful starts with a couple of dog trainers I decided that the best person to train him was me . My family doctor suggested I tried this online dog training school and that was the best decision for Fido and myself . The school programme provided me with confidence and structured programme and I started daily training . It was a lot of hours and hard work ( with inevitable frustrations and fails ) and at the end Fido and I “clicked” and I could see the weekly improvements and full successes . The school recommends 120 hours ( we spent aprox 150) of structured positive reinforcement training tasks and useful tips . Fido and I are very happy with our progress and very successful completion of the programme . We are definitely not finished - will continue working and improving building skills we were taught in order to create even stronger bond and understanding between my little paw pall Fido and me . We had a great experience! My small dog felt included the whole time and we learned about deep pressure therapy and tactile stimulation (to name a few) which have been very helpful. We got our virtual certificate at the end!

Service dog Training School provides fantastic course! Great material to get your puppy off to a good start. Guidance and information in course is fantastic.
However, paying that price for course, I would have expected Certificate sent to my address. Not just a soft copy. Service dog pass issued as a standard. High Viz vest purchased at a discounted rate.

Lessons was easy to understand and fun and interesting to practice. We enjoyed the process and both got new knowledge. And I am happy that my dog do service dog tasks despite the stereotypes about small dogs. We will continue to develop!

This was an amazing journey for little Chica and I. Dani and Lauren were my tutors and they are exceptional. I was in communication with Dani throughout this incredible journey and she was so very kind and always quick to respond to my questions and at all times extremely thoughtful and helpful. Chica and I had a great connection from the first time I met her at the shelter. She had spent 4.5 years in the shelter when we met. She had lots of fear issues in the beginning and basic training and good citizen classes helped her enormously in living a healthy life without fear. We took this service dog training course because Chica has a natural ability to instinctively identify my health issues. During this training process Chica and I have grown in ways that brought us together as a team to a higher level. This is an incredible experience and a lifelong relationship of love and quality of life. I’m forever grateful for this amazing experience. I would strongly recommend this course or any of the courses available at this school for whatever fits your needs and the needs of your paw pal, you will grow together in ways you never thought possible as I have.
