Used Select & Protect for about 3 years now and took the policy off auto renew in the first year. Cut to this year and it auto renewed without prior warning. Will nit be renewing again!

Terrible

I had a very disappointing experience with this travel insurance company.
I bought an annual travel insurance policy for myself and my wife and carefully declared all of our pre-existing medical conditions during the online quote process. The price was surprisingly low, but I assumed it included the medical conditions I had declared.
After I paid, I received the policy documents and discovered that only my medical conditions were covered. The documents stated that no medical conditions had been declared for my wife, even though I had entered them during the application.
Thinking that I did something wrong during the online quote process to check, I went through the process again using exactly the same medical information, and it gave me the same low price again.
When I contacted customer service, instead of immediately fixing the issue, they told me I would have to pay a substantial additional premium to have my wife's pre-existing medical conditions covered — even though those conditions had already been declared during the original purchase of the policy.
At the end I have asked and obtained a refund.

Easy to set up

Easy to set up, easy to deal with on phone if there is a problem.
I will update review if in the unfortunate event a claim is needed as a insurance company is only as good "if" there is a claim to be made and how it is executed.

Hi superb

Hi. I was a bit worried about my renewal. Also it was a bank holiday but I phoned on Tuesday and spoke to Karen. She was very helpful and hot everything sorted.
